I’m absolutely not happy with my stay. After one day we change to another hotel. I know the corona situation effect everyone but a 4 star hotel ( ???) should be better. The breakfast was flat. Big holes in the floor where we eat. People smoking in the cafeteria. The trolley the staff use to move the used cutlery and plates was very dirty. It is forbidden according to the Indonesian law to smoke public but the hotel provide ash bear in the cafeteria with no separate area. Only positive was that the beach was close

at 10AM the Receptionist called through the internal phone about my extending plan or not, I already said NO. but almost 10.45 someone knocked my door, I didn't answered, thought a lot of Kemenhukam (Indonesian parliamentary) had the occasion there, maybe someone knocked the wrong room. and suddenly a housekeeping entered my room. I shouted and he ran away (I didn't look the name tag, but sure he's the staff from the green-blue shirt outlook). even though you don't put the sign "Clean this Room", the staff still enter your room. I think that 90% of the guest still in the hall attending the event and someone wanna take that opportunity. I reported it to the Receptionist while check-out, but the staff didn't give much concern about our complain

I would like to express my sincere apologies for the inconvenience that you encountered during your stay with us. I just checked with the department concerned and please allow me to explain what happened on that day. Please be informed that our roomboy/maid always does the room checking between 9AM - 11AM for the daily room status report. The purpose of the report is to see the factual room status (occupied/vacant) with the one we have on the system. This also includes picking up laundry if there was any. Should there be any discrepancies between room status report and hotel system, the manager would directly check the room condition and update the system. I apologize if the staff presumed the room was empty after knocking since there was no answer, however I could assure you that we did not have any bad intention moreover the hallway and every corner at the hotel is monitored through surveillance cameras. This feedback however is helpful for us to improve and provide a better service in the future. Once again I apologize for the unpleasant experience and had created a fuss during your stay at Grand Inna Kuta. Best regards Diah Anggraini General Manager

This is an excellent hotel with direct access to the Kuta beach and has a beautiful scene. I like the hospitality of the staff here amidst the discrimination issue of Balinese or maybe some people in Bali towards locals (Indonesians). The room is quite spacious, even in the lowest room type. However, I faced several issues during my second times stay in this hotel. First, I don’t know whether this is an intentional act or not, but when we checked in to the room, we had some stuff that we deposited since morning in this hotel (check-in started from ~2-3 PM GMT+8). The receptionist told us that the hotel staff would deliver our luggage to our room, so we could go directly to our room. But, until waiting for about 30 minutes and our stuff was still not delivered yet, we decided to take it directly from the deposit place. Surprisingly, there were some staff in there (deposit place) doing nothing or just talking to each other. Initially, we thought that maybe all hotel staff was busy, so they could not deliver our luggage directly, but seeing them doing nothing in there and not delivering our things to our room made us think that maybe because we are “locals” so they didn’t think us as an important guest. The second strange thing that I faced in this hotel was finding a cockroach in the bathroom. This was really shocking for the four-star hotel with this cleanliness quality. Still with the issue in the room, I don’t know whether this was only my case or other people also faced it, but I could not control the temperature room. I have tried it for two days during our stay in the hotel, but the maximum temperature is only 25.5 degrees celsius; even when I set the temperature to 30 degrees and the lowest power of the fan, the temperature stayed still at 25.5 degrees. Moreover, it is related to breakfast services. The first night during our stay in this hotel, I called the receptionist to ask when breakfast was in the morning, and I was told that it was between 7 AM and 10.30 AM. When we went to the hotel restaurant at ~8.30-9.00 AM, the food in the restaurant was almost running out, and the restaurant staff was no longer refilling the food. Was it really until 10.30 AM? Then, talking about the anti-covid19 measures. The instruction to wear plastic gloves by staff in front of the restaurant seemed only a formality to show people that the hotel had an effort to avoid covid19 infection because there was no people/staff inside the restaurant to impose people wearing it

Just checked with my team and I found out it was a misunderstanding from internal for which I sincerely apologize. Since pandemic, we have been cutting off some staff therefore at times we are slow at attending to guests' requests especially during crunch hours. We at Grand Inna Kuta have been serving guests for years and we uphold the value of the best service towards any guests despite their nationalities. Breakfast starts from 06:30 AM till 10:30 AM and as stated above due to lack of staff, we are kind of slow at times. This has been our concern since the beginning and we will do our very best to overcome this situation in the future. Further to the covid19 protocol, I appreciate the feedback and I would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused. This should not have happened especially when we promise to create a safe and healthy environment for the guests. I will take this seriously and I promise this will not happen again in the future. visit this hotel using a promo voucher from one of the applications, the pool day package includes meal & drink. very happy to swim here, the atmosphere is quiet and the pool is clean. Ayam betutu & fried rice, very delicious. plus nice service from the front desk, pool attendant and very friendly waitress. will come here again next time. 👍
