Breakfast was very good and was a great way to great the day. Once that was done, it was all kind of ordinary. And the streets...I expected so much more out of Bali. I was very, very disappointed. The room was a kind of grim - dark and needing some light. There were amenities, but not high-end. Luckily, we didn't...

This hotel retreat is surrounded by 4 high, protective, walls with the almost hidden entrance at one corner. The moment you walk in, you are transported into a lush, tropical paradise, as if you were transported to a mythical world. Rooms are on two levels, with lower ones having a large outdoor showers and spa like bathtubs. The Balinese teak...

We chanced on this hotel as we walked around our previous place for other options. They had a standard room (400,000 rupiah) and deluxe rooms (500,000 rupiah), which was quite a good deal as the hotel has a decent swimming pool, and the rate included an excellent and delicious breakfast. The rooms were ok, if dark and dated. They had...

Bathroom was big,but is in dire need of renovation. Fridge in room is stocked with drinks. Phone in room was hopeless, tried to call home...

This place could be a great little hotel as it is well situated in Kuta. However it is let down by noisy and unwanted guests (i.e prostitutes), coming back with drunken lads. Rumour is that the government are going to purchase the land off the owner which, would explain why the gardens have been let go a little and there...

We stayed for 24 nights during May 2009, should have stayed 4 extra nigths but the goings on in the hotel became too much to bear. We booked a deluxe room and because of the length of stay we managed to secure a reasonable daily price which included breakfast. The room itself was pleasant enough, the bathroom was semi open-air...

“Upper level: it's great to have a table and chairs just outside your door, like in a verandah. Lower level: enjoy the huge ground level, outdoor showers and large round spa like bathtubs.”
