It's quiet and lush. Architecture is Balinese. The grounds are big, hence cut out the street noise. 2 pools. Breakfast. Friendly Balinese staff - who taught me Balinese. Kuta is a good location to take day trips to the rest of Bali, though Kuta itself is crowded, noisy and a pain. Masa is an escape from Kuta within Kuta. The... More

This is my third time at Masa. It's not big and glamorous, it's simple and budget. Clean, friendly and comfortable. Breakfast is simple, but easily sufficient. I recommend the Balinese rooms, and the first floor (ground) rooms looking onto the back pool. I'll automatically stay here next time too.

We were booked into another hotel which didn't suit us. We walked around to Masa Inn to see if they had a room. No problem so we went back to get our luggage. This place is perfect for the budget traveller, it's basic but it's clean and has everything you need. This was our 3rd time staying here and good... More

Masa Inn is off exceptional value, a family run hotel in traditional Balinese style, with a fresh delicious breakfast served by the Komang, Masa Inn is ideally located in Poppies Lane1, a short stroll to the beach, Everything you need is outside the front reception area: - mini markets, doctors surgery, pharmacy, massage and beauty salons, and restaurants and bars.... Every year I keep coming back, and each year they do not disappoint. Super friendly staff who cannot do enough to help. Basic room, but clean and comfortable with all the necessities you need: fridge, safe, tv Beautiful immaculate gardens around a quiet pool haven. You would never believe youre in the heart of Kuta! My second home, in Bali.

I stayed at the Masa Inn for two weeks, only just returned home 4 days ago. It was a lovely hotel, very quiet and peaceful. Two great swimming pools, both extremely clean. I was on the 2 floor at the back of the hotel and loved it. So quiet and I felt completely safe here. Staff were very friendly and... More

Back again July 2016. Place has not changed and staff the same. VERY friendly and polite staff for sure. Yes, place feels like a home away from home as I've been here a number of times over the last decade, give or take. Highly recommend and that's why I stayed here again. Keep meeting people I've met in the past... More

I have been in Masa Inn for at least 6 times during my staying in Bali, between 2003-2007. The management is very polite, the accommodations of the hotel (bedrooms, restaurant) are very modest, but the price is fair! The breakfast is fine if you cannot spend too much money. The juices & fruit are fresh and the service is good.... More

We stayed here in March at the front of the hotel & we were happy. So much so we booked for August - we arrived on Wednesday night although we left for Gili on Friday & returned sunday for a further 2 nights (we paid for all 5 6nights). If it was not for our trip to Gili we would... More

Masa is quaint but dated, the rooms and bathrooms need to be refurbed but it's reasonable value for money, cleanish and it has a relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast is not for the fussy ones; it's no frills but my family was happy with it, they do a great fresh pineapple juice and eggs anyway you want them, the porridge is... More
