We got a family bungalow in the garden and it was ok, but rooms in the two-storey concrete building were definitely poor value.. dark, smelly and did'nt seem clean at all. The garden and pool area are are nice, but that's all. Rude staff and poor service will make your stay there really unpleasant. Expecially the guys at the reception...

There are some nice things about this hotel, so you should read the entire review before making a judgement. and I´ll try to give both sides. But our experience was of course clouded by the fact that we got bed bugs in our room and the staffs handling of this. We discovered the bugs late one night (got bitten the...

My friend and I moved to Suji the 3rd day we went to Bali, the hotel looks good with a garden and a swimming pool, but the experence was so bad! During the stay, we were busy attending different activities on the island. We were quite tired that even when we found our items were misplaced, we didn't think that...

For the 1st week in Bali we arrived at a very cheap friendly place. Cleaned daily however bathrooms could use a sparkle up and new pillows would also be a draw card. The noise every night from, I'm guessing The Sky Lounge was ear splitting..........not their fault! Best omlettes and close to great shops, food and groovy people playing guitars...

We were booked in for 2 weeks and left soon after. The rooms were dirty, bathrooms had not been cleaned not even when you stay in the room. Towels and linen are filthy and don't get changed daily or even 2nd daily. Things go missing from your room and verandah - no responsibility taken. As for the staff the manager...

I booked into an A/C room for 10 nights but checked out after only one. We were put in a two story bungalow which was very basic but clean. The main problem I had was the staircase. The steps are huge and the gaps in the bannister could have let an elephant through. Not ideal at all when travelling with...

I stayed in Suji for four nights (one plus three), in three different rooms, quality varies. For 25 USD you can get a single (double bed or twins) room, hot water, fan, fridge, TV and a just OK breakfast (you can take fan only rooms without breakfast for about 21 USD). During my 5 weeks low budget travel, Suji represented...

My wife and I are doing a round the world trip. We're a middle-class couple from the UK in our early thirties. This is a good budget option as it offers some solid mid-range features: cable TV, hot water, air-con, swimming pool, lovely gardens. As always at this price range, there are compromises. 1) The staff are a little surly...

I saw the reviews before going and thought I would take a chance, not sure were to start. After the first night stay, we went out exploring and when we got back to the room, I looked to brush my daughter’s hair. Brush nowhere to be found, top from previous night no where to be found etc. Delicately I approached...

We decided to stay in Kuta just for our first days in Bali to do the shopping (nappies, ect) for our son, one year old. We found Kuta really busy and NOT suitable for young children, but the Suji really is an oasis in this busy town! The rooms are simply but clean. There is room service every day and...

“A/C is not needed, fan room enough. Be sure there is hot water in the room. Ask for a room near the pool, usually are the best ones.”
