Positives - Amazing expansive grounds with awesome pool areas, the best I've ever seen. - Beautiful views over the beach, sunset and watching the planes land - Pretty good kids club - Rooms are large and clean - Very well staffed (that are attentive). - Amazing breakfast! - Super comfy beds and pillows Negatives - Extremely loud evacuation sirens went off in our room late at night which woke up and greatly frightened our young son. We called reception who weren't able to explain it. I contacted the Manager Agung Joni. Whilst he did address another problem he didn't reply to this issue. - F&B (around the pool) was very hit and miss. Sometimes the meals were fantastic and other times just terrible (cold/soggy). Food is expensive. - Tiny selection of cocktails that are very basic. G&T is classed as a cocktail!?!? Very surprising for a hotel of this caliber. - Kids club activities were very overpriced. Works out cheaper to hire a private babysitter externally. All in all the positives far outweigh the negatives. We loved our stay and will be back again!

A truly beautiful property with beautiful grounds and sitting right on the beach. We had cocktails there and watched a beautiful sunset and I have to say we had great service and the hotel is very well managed. Would like to stay here on my next visit as what a beautiful place. 👍

From the moment we stepped foot onto this property, we knew that we were in for a lovely stay. Everything was very clean, and appeared to be well maintained. The hotel did not seem to have many people staying, but with 6 buildings, it's difficult to determine. For us, it was very quiet and the service was always quick. All the staff were wearing masks everywhere. All the pools were clean, with ample towels and comfortable loungers and daybeds in the bales. We never had a problem finding somewhere to sit by the pool with fresh towels. There was also power and a USB port available at the pool bales for use. The room was huge, with everything we needed - separate toilet in the bathroom, full length mirror, iron and ironing board, magnifying mirror in the bathroom... The breakfast was vast, with a wide variety of food available at the buffet, and an al a carte menu as well. Shout out to Rini, who was labelled as a "trainee", who always remembered us with a smile as well as our coffee order each day. We were temperature checked before entering the breakfast area, and asked to sanitise and wear a face mask whilst inside. The only thing that could be improved was the lack of knowledge of the staff on the front desk. A couple of times I asked, what I thought were pretty basic questions, such as "where can I change money on the street...where can I hire a scooter etc" and they were not able to provide answers. One day I told them I wanted to go to Kuta to shop, and they very kindly telephoned for a taxi for me. What would have been useful before I left, would have been to inform me that 90% of Kuta was actually closed, including Matahari's which was actually boarded up.

Lovely hotel. I didnt realise the grand size of this hotel till I got there. No more then 4 levels and quite a bit of a walk to the rooms from the lobby or the pool but nothing major. I had a classic room and was lovely. Only thing is the bed sheets felt damp and wet. Might have been from the humidity but not sure. The room itself was spacious and lovely. I did complain about the damp feeling and smell and got moved to a king Classic Singaraja room. Was very happy with my whole stay there. The pools are amazing. So many to choose from and the beach right at the doorstep. Sunset Grill bar is amazing and you have to try the Italian restaurant "Bella Cucina" absolutely superb and best service and food! go for the 3 course meal. $55AUD.

The resort is beautiful, ideally situated on the beach, two pools for families and club level that want to relax. I’m platinum elite in IHG eyes, but after Ramadan was over the hotel occupancy rates very low. Upon check in I inquired about a room upgrade for one of my perks, attendant said I can offer club level for additional $150 a night. I said doesn’t being platinum elite get me a room upgrade. She said no, I was a bit let down and decided to pass on paying additional for a perk I should’ve gotten. Now I didn’t want the club level, just a nicer room with a view rather then the run of the mill room. Almost made 5 stars IHG! All other aspects of hotel are 5 stars. Great breakfast buffet as well as attendant by pool more then eager to help. Next stop is Surabaya, staying at hotel competition as it’s bonvoy, let’s see if they want to take care of me.

Last time we stayed here it was 2020 September. During the renovations, we passed the property many times as we are frequent Bali Travellers. We stayed on 5-7 May and the hotel was packed as it was Eid Holiday. The one that benefits most with the renovation are basically the common area ONLY not your room. The High Scores Are ; - Main Pool Area , very nice - Pool Temperature - Lobby Area - Entrance Area - Breakfast Area - Beautiful Beach The Low Scores Are ; - Bedding is no better than 3 stars hotel, Very poor bedding - We experience Old clogged Toilet ( Room 3313 ) Mind you the lobby toilet gets the New automated seats - Rainshower head got problem, the water speads everywhere - Air cond is not really cools down the room - Service overall Hit and Miss Lower your expectations for room and enjoy the grounds then you will be fine.

Intercontinental Hotels Jimbaran location is not far from Ngurah Rai Airport. We arrived at the Hotel at 11.00. The check-in process is fast. They serve welcome drink ginger ice. Due to early check-in, we were asked to wait in the Lobby which has lots of seats. 15 minutes later, our room is ready and there are staff who will deliver and bring our luggage to our room The rooms are spacious, clean and have good lighting. In terms of design, the interior and the lighting are very attentive to details. Unfortunately our mattresses and pillows had a slight rarely used smell. The mattress is too soft but the pillows are still in good condition. Under the mattress and sofa provided a carpet. comfortable chairs and work desk, sofa and coffee table with fruit platter, minibar complete with Nescafe brand for coffee and Savis Oolong and javanese jasmine tea, and a 55 inch TV. Wifi works well and there 2 USB ports and power socket on each side of the mattress so we can charge 3 devices at the same time. In the wardrobe, a bathrobe, iron, SDB and laundry bag are provided. For mineral water, 4 bottles @ 350 ml are provided in the bathroom and next to the mattress. We can request additional mineral water. No pens and paper are provided here. They provide a free turn-down service from 17.00-21.00. Our room was opened even though I already answered please wait a moment, luckily we are working so it's not a problem. The room is also equipped with a balcony for relaxing. The AC cooling system works well and a fan is provided when we open the balcony. The view in our room is the garden and pool. The bathroom is spacious and efficient. There is a sink, bathtub, shower room with a hand shower and rain shower, and a separate closet. Amenities produces by Budi Jaya with premium packaging. Masks and sanitizing wipes are provided along with toothbrushes. Provided 2 mats, 3 body towels, 2 hand towels and 2 face towels. There is a hair dryer and a magnifying mirror. Hot water, cold water works fine. A minus is the shower water in my opinion was too slow (but for the bathtub it filled up quickly) Spacious lobby with a large statue in the middle, lots of sofas provided for waiting at check-in. On the lobby floor there are several tenant areas and atm. Some areas are being renovated, it was heard from our room at 08.00 that the renovation work had started even though it wasn't loud. The kids club is quite extensive with a cave theme, a variety of toys are provided. They also have drawing activities for children and there is a story telling section. Spacious gym with complete and many equipment. It still smells of paint. The pool is spacious and many. children's pools, main pools, and swimming pools that have an infinity view to the beach. Jogging track from the room to the beach, pool and beach club where the arrangement is very good so the colors are very beautiful for photos. Breakfast at Taman Gita Restaurant, unfortunately to access the restaurant you have to go through stairs because the lift next to Taman Gita is being renovated. Taman Gita restaurant has been renovated and the interior is very nice and fresh. They provide 2 types of breakfast, a-la carte and buffet. For the buffet they provide Indonesian (chicken porridge, rice barracks, fried rice, fried noodles, broccoli, chicken curry, lawar), Live cooking noodles, sushi and miso, smoothies, yogurt, salads, bakery pastry, waffle pancakes, fresh fruit, chilled juice, Infused, coffee and tea (can request ice cappuccino), Western (tomato, potato, beef bacon, beef and chicken sausage). Pork bacon is available by request. the taste are good. All the staff here are very friendly and always greet first in a clear voice. They are ready to help us when there is a problem. For food and beverage officers, they are very prompt in offering food and cleaning our tables. Every time we pass at the buffet counter, they always offer what they served. Thanks FB team for Aldi, Rina, Rini and all Front Office staff who care about us for early check-in

period of stay: April 12-14 room: Uluwatu suite. which is very spacious, huge balcony, amazing views, comfy bed and very clean also booked another deluxe room for my husband assistant family of four, with 2 boys, age 12 and 6 to summarise our visit based on our honest experience: Location: awesome. its walking distance to the beach Jimbaran. my kids spent morning and afternoon and morning again playing at the beach, built sand castle, playing with the wave. The beach behind the hotel is really and truly beautiful. We walked every morning, and let just say this is Intercontinental Jimbaran ++++point. There's four season if you walk straight the beach and the beach part there is different. The one behind InterContinental is the best. although I found quite numbers of straws on the beach, which i cleaned, why don't Intercontinental clean the beach behind their hotel? its not a lot of work, its not like there's pile of trash, just straws that can be cleaned in 1 hour. And it can last for a week for the work to be repeated. again: so love the beach. breakfast: delicious facilities: POOR information, POOR service we were not told that there would be some carpet installation in the GYM. While my husband was doing exercise. The works of course required strong smell odour chemical, and to add loud workers which definitely, absolutely a total disturbance to my husband workout. And it turned out, the job only took 1-2 hours. Cant it wait? Cant it choose better time, let say before opening? Cant we be informed? Swimming pool, at 19.00 we were told, by the pool cleaner (not the staff) that they. needed to clean the pool.. well, is it closed at 19:00? in room dining: order jimbaran ikan bakar, tahu goreng, penne and mie goreng. and were getting some SUPER HARD RiCE. it seemed the rice came from the bottom of the rice cooker, or undercooked? not sure. The manager, Ibu Ida is quite helpful. but then again, whats happened cant be undone right? tips: dont bother ordering higher rooms type. Let say, suite. The treatment you receive will be the same. From check in, i still qued For the GYm, no information, for the in dining order, its the same. Butler not always respond. have to do at least twicecall. the most standard room will do justice. You have no expectation, take care of yourself, and you will be fine. ps. they still have Jimbaran Beach!

We are currently staying in the hotel, we have two suites. The rooms are in poor, dirty condition. Showers have thick mould on all of the shower tiles. The tapware and mirrors are rusty and falling apart. We had no hot water for the first two nights (they had not turned on the HWS). The aircon does not cool the room, rooms are hot and stuffy despite setting the temp to 18 degrees the aircon never reaches that temp, not sure if undersized units or centrally controlled elsewhere. Mini bars are empty, not even cold water provided and the fridges are hot, they do not work. The repair man told us that its hot because its a fridge, not a freezer!. Rooms are so hot in the night it is impossible to sleep. Service is below average. Cant make phone calls from the room as they have barred them. We tried to order room service at 8pm and they told us it was closed. We managed to order water but it came hot without glasses or ice, we finally managed to get an ice bucket and glasses after an hour. On arrival we were not informed about any facilities we had to figure it out for ourselves. We still dont know if there is a hotel spa or not. Pool is very sad and has no atmosphere. The only part of the hotel that is running smooth and performing as expected is Pier 8 restaurant where breakfast is served, whilst the basic buffet is pretty sad, you can order a la carte which has some decent options.
