My wife and I stay at Villa Sanggingan (VS) regularly, but on my most recent trip just two weeks ago (Feb 2017), I was on my own and stayed for a week. I love the location and the view across the Wos River Valley. It is nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud Central, but not...

Stayed for ten days in this place with wonderful peace and quiet with lovely view from the room at the back of the property. Very helpful manager Wayan who once I complained about the inedible hard slightly sweet cardboard posing as bread for breakfast went out to buy absolutely delicious Nasi Campur Kedewatan for me. There was good coffee and...

Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly Wayan. Located in the quiet end of Ubud and set in pretty gardens, my room was fairly basic but quiet, clean and comfortable, light and airy and with a large terrace overlooking the gorge. Very nice swimming pool and breakfast was good. Excellent value for money and the location was perfect for attending the...

We stayed here for 4 nights, we are travelling through Indonesia and have stayed in many places, for the price this place is amazing. I would recommend hiring a moped it allows you to see everything. The staff are so friendly and will do anything to help you. It is so peaceful but if you are scared of insects and...

If you tired with the stressed? This place will make you refresh.. Silent, quite and refreshing. At night you're only hear bugs, owl & gecko. No noisy sound, forget the TV, and enjoy the sound of nature. Thanks for Mr. Wayan, whos helping us for three enjoyable days. We would came again when we go to bali.

We stayed at Sanggingan Villa in August 2013 and extended our stay we were so impressed. Wayam's service was exceptional - we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble, The hotel is not new but has a feel of faded glamour. The bathroom was a bit tired-looking. The pool is lovely and breakfasting on our...

We stayed here for four nights during our trip arround Bali. We were here begining of April, so off season, therefore we were the only guests. This was perfect for us - we had a pool to ourselfes and the full attention from the staff. The hotel is decorated as an old temple, covered with moss, full of exotic plants...

I stayed one night here. It was about 3km from town or a 30 minute walk. If you plan on watching one of the shows in Ubud, most start at 7:30pm, then you really need to get a ride home. The footpath is unlit and would be too tricky at night. The room here was fine. It had a fridge...
