This is a perfect hotel for a few nights in Denpasar. It is right in the center and the Bali Museum, the Padar Badung, Puputan Monument and lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops are within a few minutes walking distance. It is a very historic hotel from the colonial period, where the famous Denpasar Conference on the independence of Indonesia in 1946 took place. There is a pleasant swimming pool, spacious rooms, and very friendly and personal service. It is not suitable for people who are looking for a fashionable five star boutique hotel, but it is the place for those who appreciate an authentic experience and a stay in the middle of a bustling Indonesian city. In quiet traffic you can reach the Airport in 40 minutes. Last but not last: price quality ratio is top
Had a great stay here, 4 nights was not long enough! Great large room, clean and very close to the beautiful pool! Had a great time socialising with members/locals from the Bali Arak Convention which was awesome, held at the hotel. Short walk to shops/malls/museum etc. will come back again, thank you. Jon.
It is close to many interesting places in Bali; Pasar Badung, Catur Muka statue, etc The building looks old but very spacious Swimming pool is great for kids. It is not far away from Kuta, Sanur or Seminyak. If you want a bit quiet atmosphere in the middle of the city.
Very nice hotel with comfortable rooms. Very good, central location but still quiet environment. Beautiful garden with large pool. An excellent restaurant on site, attentive and kind staff. We were really pleased with everything
The property has an amazing history and at one point was the pride of Bali. However, the rooms though large and comfortable need to be revamped as has peeling paint of the walls. The staff were friendly, but the service was slow. Overall the experience was good but could have been great if the maintenance of the property was better.
The staff at this hotel were all wonderful and genuine. I really enjoyed the pool and room patio and the gardening was beautiful. The location and price were excellent and the hotel restaurant had good food. The first morning I had breakfast a la carte and it was delicious, the 2nd morning was buffet and it was not as good. I left my toiletries bag behind in the bathroom and the staff called my driver right away to let him know. My only recommendations for improvement would be in the room, particularly the bathroom and shower. The bed was comfortable but the rooms show their age and the shower was truly terrible - it had very weak pressure and sprayed all over the place and the tub didn't drain very well. All in all though I did appreciate my stay especially due to the people working here. …
To be honest I like to stay here... even the building is an old building and gave a sense of spooky things but it doesnt scared me at all, and maybe others feel the same too.. the room is big enough for 2 people, they have bath tub which is good because after u work long day outside and back to ur room, maybe laying in a bath tub with warm water is a good idea.. it is quiet, even that time it was full of guests.. so yah, I like to stay here..
One night at Inna Bali wasn't enough. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely setting with a welcoming pool. Comfortable bed. I'm no fan of a shower over the bath but it was perfectly functional. Breakfast was superb. Only complaint is that marketing indicated the hotel wasn't far from the airport. It was more than an hour though we did arrive early evening which is probably peak traffic time.
While certainly not a 4 or 5 star hotel, it is a solid 3 star. We enjoyed our stay here . The food at the cafe was excellent and quite cheap. Service and support at the hotel was great. It is certainly worth a stay as there are some great places to visit that are close by.
A group of four of us are currently staying at the Denpasar heritage hotel. The staff are ever so helpful, food very good - including the satay. Location in old Denpasar is excellent which is why we chose to stay here. But hotel rooms are basic and 'tired'. Nevertheless, it's a good hotel for the price.
