If you want peace, away from hustle bustle of the city and can walk a bit from mall road from picture palace end, then go for it. Less crowded, owner is nice and views are mesmerizing... Wine shop, little lama cafe at a stone's throw...

I visited this hotel for long weekend trip at mussorie. Services were not upto the mark. I was served spoiled breads (expiry date bread) in breakfast. This is the last hotel if you cross the whole mall road. You will have to walk around 2km with all your luggage on high roads. Worst Rating from my end. Bakwassssssssssssssss

Really nice hotel........ I had booked for 3 Deluxe , 3 Standard and 1 Family Room. All rooms were clean and well decorated. Bath rooms were cleaned with hot water availability. The owner Mr.Jain and the Hotel manager are very nice persons. Hotel staff was really helpful and co-operative to attend the guest. Well, one thing....Free WiFi is available mainly for Deluxe rooms. Foods in the restaurant are cheap and good quality. So, Its a Excellent budget hotel.

Where to begin with. The hotel staff was cold, not rude, but not warm or welcoming as well. The room that we were given was pretty small. The sheet had stains; there were hair strands on pillows; blanket was dirty and it smelled horrible.

There was dead cockroach in the bathroom and a big spider on the wall of the same. There was no switch for the fan, just a regulator and that too near the ceiling.

I believe in travelling on foot and hence didn't have my own car or taxi. Therefore, I found the location to be very inconvenient. Though yes, I admit, the views were pretty good! Probably that's the only plus point.

On one occasion a random guy got into our room. He said he was from hotel staff (he wasn't in the uniform, by the way) and thought that the room was empty. So, I am not even sure about the security.

There are much better options in better prices. Please do yourself a favour and look somewhere else.

Worst hotel I have ever lived in (and this isn't an exaggeration).

We were trapped by Clear Trip booking site forcefully to this terrible hotel. I could only piss in this hotel but to wash my hands I searched a decent hotel. Thanks to TripAdvisor and network connection in my tablet for guiding and navigating to a good hotel. I was saved by TripAdvisor’s hotel reviewers so today I am contributing mine to save others. I could stay only 10+5 minutes struggling to get to the rooms and get rid of this pathetic hotel. We were two couples harassed and trapped by the booking agent and Clear Trip until we took our train to Dehradun. Both of our ladies screamed in anger seeing such a hotel arrangement. The behavior of the hotelier is very bad and unallowable for ladies. The price tag pasted on the reception is 10 times higher than actual. If anybody planning for a very low budget hotel then also don’t choose this as Jain Dharamsala is near this and in prime location, very good price than this and peaceful. You will get diseased in the foul smelling rooms with dirty bed and blankets. Geyser doesn’t works properly and they charge extra Rs.90.00/hour for room heater. Clearly say no to this hotel if you are also a victim like us by Cleartrip or any other broker of this hotel as it is better to stay in a Dharamsala than this. The stairs to the rooms are horrible and can kill you if you are with little luggage. I have asked my friend to upload the photos for reference as I was not comfortable to take pictures in the suffocating rooms. I found hotel Oak bush as nearest good place to rest and Golden Palm the best but far from this hotel. I initially booked rooms at hotel dream palace as it was having best image at TripAdvisor but trapped and forced to stay in this pathetic hotel. Anyway I looked at hotel dream palace from hotel Golden Palm while celebrating New Year’s Eve and found silent and dark in comparison to locality and thanked god that I was not part of that dark hotel that night.

We stayed in this hotel from 1st to 4th May, 2015. We opted for a Double bed room, which was valley facing. The room had the basic amenities like LCD TV, Geyser and clean quilts and bedsheets. They keep the geysers on till 10 am in the morning, after which they switch it off . If you wish to use the geysers after this, you need to call the reception, they will switch it on.
The hotel is located some 800-900 mts away from the Mall road, but the terrain is hilly so this 800 mts is equivalent to 1.2 kms of normal walk. The weather in that part is very pleasant, so walking is fun and you will enjoy the cool breeze while you stroll down the roads.

Though the hotel menu has limited options, but do try their parantha and soda sikanji. The rates are very reasonable. The room service is good.

We have stayed here from 03 June to 05 June 13.
Deluxe room is spacious and gives excellent valley view from window.
Walking distance to Mall Road i.e. about 10 minute .
Staff is good ,food is OK and hotels own parking and amenities for kids available too.
Drive from clock tower to hotel(downwards) was a bit scary for me but its about 150 meter.
Overall Good experience.
