We visited Mussouri in the first week of June'22 and were simply awestruck with the property. Hands down it has the best view of the Doon valley in town. To top that was the exceptional bespoke service and the care we received all through out our stay for 4 days. It's a great place to stay for family with kids ( we were 2 families, 4 adults and 2 kids) and the beautiful garden/lawn was a go to place for the kids to engross themselves in their own world of play.
Kasmanda palace hotel is extremely peaceful endearing property.grt food.courtous staff beautiful gardens to enjoy the scenic beauty. Room service was periodically prompt and the food was also delicious.
Stayed for 3 nights here in 2 rooms. I felt the price is exorbitant for the kind of property. There have a good place behind the property which could have been maintained better. The big issue i faced is the access. The property is located on Mallroad which has travel restrictions. I took a self driven vehicle from Dehi which has to be parked on a private parking place. I had to take a Cab, A Rickshaw and again a cab to bring the luggage to the hotel. It was so exhausting to make these things happen. This is the biggest discomfort when you are travelling with a family, who had to go through all this. One needs to take care of these aspects. Good thing is there is a car to drop you on the mall road whenever you want. The rooms are Okay, but i dont think they are worth the price. Food is just okay. Not only this hotel, but all Mussourie in Summer is too expensive! Better to time the visit to get the real worth of this place.…
An excellent hotel. Relaxing and refreshing stay away from the crowd. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. Food was excellent. A special appreciation message for Mr. Shoorbir for his wonderful service and hospitality. We also would like to thank Mr. Mukesh and Mr. Santosh for helping and guiding us to wonderful places around Mussorie. The shuttle car to and from Mall road to the steep climb to the hotel was always so prompt, a special thanks to them. Thank you Kasmanda Palace for making our holiday a memorable one!
Overall a very good hotel with good rooms, nice view, helpful staff and good food. We were tended to by Mr Shoorbir, he was very welcoming and helpful. Other staff was also very respectful. It is a bit hard to get to the hotel owing to its location on Mall Road where rented cars aren’t allowed so you will need to get a porter or a Rickshaw to get to the location, however once you get there it is a peaceful and nice stay.
Built in 1836, this was the summer palace of one of the regional kings which had been converted into a charming boutique hotel situated high above the chaos of Mall Road. The rooms are spacious; staff very welcoming; the food was incredible with some local delicacies on offer. I had the good opportunity to meet the current King and his family who still operate the hotel. Their courtesies and humility are something I will remember for a very long time. Take a walk around the gardens and stand on the outdoor terraces to take in the magnificent views. Looking for a quiet mountain retreat to relax this is the place to be. One word of caution - the hotel is located at about 7500 feet above sea level and it is advisable to take high altitude meds to ward of any headaches or other ailments which may occur at such heights…
Kasmanda Palace is an excellent hotel for anyone ! Great views with great food. I liked the fish and chips the most. Its almost the topmost in the mall road area so its not necessary to visit points like the Gun Point as we have better views here. The rooms are clean especially the Royal Room where I stayed was awesome. A big room with a royal touch. It was probably a prince's ! The staff is excellent . I would like to commend Surveer for helping us out with our stay and waking us up for a scrumptious breakfast. I would recommend anyone with a budget of around 10K per night to stay here. Better than others.
Found the WelcomeHeritage Kasmanda Palace, Mussorie quite by accident - A heritage hotel (structure built in 1863) with well appointed old world charm rooms but having modern bathroom & facilities. It’s very close to the Mall road as well, in case you miss the chaos that is Mall Road :) The property is well spread, overlooking the Mussorie hills, a pretty setting with a viewing deck/ restaurant, a manicured garden & flowers of various colors. The food option & quality of both breakfast and other meals is very good. We were looked after by Mr. SoorVeer, who requires a special mention for his courteous & helpful service. The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful as well. Overall a very good property with a friendly service - just the right place to spend a few relaxing days !…
Excellent food and well maintained Hotel. We had gone there for lunch only but on request the staff was courteous to show us their all categories of rooms. The rooms have authentic antique furniture which very well maintained. Lunch was served to us in their lawn, very good food, service and ambience. A must visit for everyone.
