Had the most comfortable stay in Sun n Snow with family. The place is a hidden gem with extremely courteous staff who make you feel welcomed and at home. The rooms are cozy and equipped with basic amenities. Room heaters are provided and hot water is no issue at all, which is a big plus as the place gets cold in evenings. The kitchen staff is very friendly and were personally attending to all guests and serving food with great pleasure. They seemed excited to serve us and it made us feel like home. The food menu was standard, but the quality was good and spice levels were well suited for us. Special mention for the property manager, Tushita. She was very warm and gave us good directions to visit the places to see. She was also overseeing the operations personally and ensuring things were in place.
Overall highly recommend the place for a quick stay in Mussorie. We had an excellent stay there!

Rooms are very clean and well maintained ,view is very good if you choose a hill facing one with Balcony, this property is close to Mall road 10 mins walking down the hill, all the view points are very close max 15-20 mins, recommend to experience around places like George point and company garden, also cloudends. Service is quick and good, staff is very courteous, food quality is good but very less options for Breakfast. Note: If you are taking a room with Balcony beware of Monkeys, they can come in anytime, so keep it closed when you are not around

The hotel is good awesome apart from some minor noticable things.
We visited this hotel on October end 2022, just after Diwali, so rates were quite high. We booked 4 rooms(3 Super Dlx and 1 Dlx) as its a family trip with 3 couples and 3 kids. Rooms and washrooms were clean and heigenic. View from the hotel is just awesome, you can see clouds coming in from valley.
Location is just 500 mtrs from Library chowk but a steep road, normally it was hectic to walk back to hotel from road, but but but, you can take taxi for that for just 150Rs. It has parking facility which is must have in hill station like Mussorie.
We recieved vey warm welcome from Mr Sonu and one other person(forget name) at reception is a very soft spoken and co-operative person. They offered options from tea/coffee/hot chocloate/lemonade as welcome drinks and check-in was smooth. There are 3 dogs which are very friendly and welcome with them :)
Staff was very cheerful and courteous(Mahaveer and one other guy). Services were very prompt and all were treating you like their family members.
Food was good and economic but can be slightly better in taste.
There are couple of things which needs improvement: 1. Washrooms flush was too problemetic in all our rooms with low pressure 2. Hot water is 24x7 available but speed was too slow that it took too much time 3. Electric Kettle, tea bags, toileteries were not provided in any of room.
Conclusion: I can give 4.5 ratings to this hotel, it is perfect hotel to stay in mussorie but Hotel has to think on above feedback. I strongly recommend this hotel.

We visited Mussoorie in end October'22 and stayed for few days in Hotel Sun n Snow. The location was a good, although a bit uphill and away from the mall road ( walking up from the mall was a nightmare for us one evening). But the staff were excellent, always smiling, very supportive and willing to run the extra mile to make customers happy. There was a couple of young boys, highly energetic and also a few homely canines. The room was spacious, well maintained (as expected in such a hilly area) and hot water was available in the wash room (it was pretty cold in October end). The restaurant on the top floor gives a panoramic view of the city, and it's a pleasure to enjoy the early morning sun and the evening lights of the town. The food quality was excellent and we specially liked "the pahadi chicken" with butter roti. It was a wonderful and comfortable stay.

We booked this hotel based on positive reviews through Make My trip and landed at half past midnight on 23rd Dec. The initial experience was less satisfying (due to no water supply and an unclean looking room) for which we had to raise a complaint with Make My trip in the wee hours. We were then provided immediately with an alternative room which matched our expectations. Rest of our experience was positive on all counts. Specifically the breakfast was wonderful (taste, hospitality and the breathtaking valley view from the dining hall) with the services team - Ramakant & Rakesh taking special care of us. Few things the hotel management should take care of: a) Rooms are fully made occupant ready b) High capacity heaters to provide adequate warmth especially in winter times

The hotel room is very good and with excellent comfort. The Super Deluxe Rooms we stayed in have private balconies providing a beautiful view of mussoorie and the Doon Valley. The staff is really very good and helpful with a very friendly nature. Service is also very fast. We love the location and the free parking. The location of restaurant is very beautiful. They even give complimentary room heaters. We went to see a few other properties and they all charge 500 extra for room heaters. Sun n Snow gives free heaters. Shows they care. It was so good to be their guests

It's a beautiful, well-maintained, small hotel located 600m or a 10-minute walk from the Library chowk. The path can be steep at a few places for some but doable. Parking is available. The staff is helpful and their service is commendable. Ramakant was a delightful guy. The hotel gave us late check-out at 2pm on request. The views from the room balconies are spectacular. We also stayed at a premium hotel on the same trip and the view is definitely better from here. Wifi had good speed. I did wfh one day and faced no issues. Although the wifi was down a day before due to rains. Breakfast spread was sufficient but limited (no fresh fruits/juices/bakeries). The taste was really good (homely) and compensates for spread. They have wonderful dogs at the hotel who were very friendly and really make the experience fulfilling. Dog lovers would be delighted to know that the dogs are well taken care of.

We planned a official program here related to feedbacks and outreach to the Locals of Mussoorie regarding telecom sector. The Program was professionally handled by the Team of the Hotel and had no hiccups. The food served is good and the staff is very much Courteous. The Kitchen staff always make you feel at home. The hill view from the rooms is great and one would always love to have a sip of Coffee in the Balcony. The property is well maintained. The lunch tea etc was adhered to the timings and with minimum follow-ups handled very professionally. The hall is good with an adjacent lobby where the food is served which adds up the space you get. We a team of 5 had a pleasant experience and the program was also successful and the hotel team was always eager to take an extra step to help us around with anything we needed. The hotel is little aloof from mall road so it adds to the calmness you need to feel at a Hill station. We also had a view of the Moon rise on the day we arrived from behind the mountains. The view was awesome. It is a welcoming place and one would definitely love to be there be it an official or personal trip.

We 49 members stayed at The Sun N Snow hotel recently. It was nature friendly, very neat and clean & the room services were great. The food provided was hygienic and its aroma and taste was soulful. Bonfire and games were fun. Mr. Sonu at the front desk was very helpful and made our checkin smoothly without any long waiting. Also, the parking of our two 25 seater tempo travellers at the hotel premises was really helpful.
We recommend this hotel for family trips to Mussoorie.

Hotel Sun n Snow is the best Hotel in Mussoorie in terms of Value for Money and the quality of service and food that is provided at the most affordable price. What we loved about the property is the way the staff is welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The washrooms are neat and clean. There is no issue with water supply. They also have a Genset to make sure that there as the electricity goes away there is no problem to guests. There is also a wonderful roof top restaurant that we loved. The food quality is best. In our 4 nights stay we only ate Dinner outside once. The freshly served delicious food is no doubt the best. All guests should try their food. Most Hotels do not care about food quality. But here it is really well done. Lastly the view from the Hotel is simply mind-blowing. The way the mist the clouds roll in the Doon Valley. It is mesmerising. The free Parking is such a great convenience. Overall our trip was made amazing by the wonderful stay we had at Sun n Snow. Highly recommended. And definitely coming back soon.

Dear Sir, Of course you will get the electric kettle and tea, coffee, milk and sugar pouches. Tea Coffee maker is available in the rooms. Some guests get them removed because they feel their little children may get into trouble with a kettle around. But we keep them while preparing the rooms for fresh check In any case kindly feel free to ask for as many tea and coffee refills as you wish. Hi, its always such a pleasure to be able to answer a question from a future guest who may be on the verge of deciding to chose us for their stay. Its both very exciting and creates such a sense of responsibility. I want every guest to have the most fantastic stay of their life. So I will try to give you a more complete picture.
We are about 450 m away from the Library End of the Mall Road. There is a broad road that lead to the hotel and cars come up easily. We have a free parking on the property which is a rare thing in Mussoorie. Our Super Deluxe Valley Facing rooms have balconies. They are really very pleasant. Its a different experience to look out of a window and see a lovely view, and to sit on a couple of chairs on a balcony and enjoy the view. So if you wish to have that experience I would recommend you chose our Super Deluxe rooms. We plan to have a play area for kids soon but as of now there is a big hall that we use for conferences and parties and it has a music system that can be used by our guests at any time up till 10:30 pm to play their music and if they wish, dance and have fun. Parents sometimes take their kids up and they can play in that safe secure hall. September is rather nice and not cold at all.
Let me write about November and hope it helps travellers who will visit at this time of the year.
Through November we usually have the most brilliant sun and absolutely strikingly blue skies during the day. Its very pleasant and you can either walk around in a shirt or wear a light jacket or pullover. The evenings tend to get a little cold and its a good time to sport a few fashion accessories like a nice warm jacket or a stylish pullover for men and even some really colourful shawls for the girls.
Lots of shops here to buy woollens from. I really like Mussoorie at this time of the year and a lot of my friends drop in to just enjoy walking around in the pleasant sun in the daytime. Do visit. It will be memorable.
