Hotel Himalayan Club is a part of one of Mussoorie's most famous British Raj landmarks, The Himalaya Club, which was built in the year 1840. One of our best hotel experiences in all our travels. We stayed for a total of 6 days and all our expectations were met with perfection. To begin with, the hotel is conveniently located at a 2 minute walk from the mall road and a 4 minute walk from the landour bazzar area. The location is so apt that we were well removed from the hustle and noise of tourists. Our room was enormous enough to fit in two regular hotel rooms and had a spectacular and breathtaking view of the mountains. The bed was extremely comfortable. The mattresses were the right amount of thick and stiff to make it appropriate for our backs. The house keeping staff also took good care to keep our rooms spick and span and thoroughly sanitised keeping in mind the current norms. If you are a couple I would recommend rooms 106,107 or 108. They have the best views. As for families travelling together rooms 204 and 205 are appropriate as they are twin rooms with a common bathroom. The view is the same as they are directly above. The one thing that perfectly compliments this cute and cozy hotel is the food they provide. We practically almost had all our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel as it was SO GOOD. They provide you with a variety of breakfast and lunch/ dinner options of vegetarian and non vegetarian items and are willing to make whatever adjustments you require according to their availabilities. To top it all, all the staff at the hotel is extremely courteous and very well behaved. They welcome you and care for you very thoughtfully. I would like to specially mention here that the owner of the hotel, Taruveer, is also practically always present at the property and is an extremely well natured, pleasant and welcoming person. He is always willing to accommodate you in the best possible way. To sum it up, our hotel stay made our trip to Mussoorie several times more enjoyable. Thankyou Hotel Himalayan Club and all it’s entourage. We shall definitely visit again very soon.

Awesome place to arrive. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with two six year olds and lots of luggage and despite the stairs up to the elevator this was one of the nicest places we stayed in the four weeks we were in Europe.

Its a heritage hotel with good rooms, nice upholstery, good valley view. The food is a bit costly but good. Bt i am a bit disheartened with the service. Although the service delivery is quite quick bt it needs to be a bit more professional. I stayed there for 3 days and not even on a single day did the housekeeping come to clean the rooms or the bathroom. As for toiletries, they just provide with a small soap bar and 2 sachets of shampoo and a worn out towel. No tissue rolls. The hotel is very close to the mall on a stiff peak very difficult for senior citizens to commute. My parents who were senior Citizens had to choose staying in the rooms since we didnt have a car at disposal. Apart from the above issue i would say that the property is at an excellent location.

Highlight of this property is parking i think. Otherwise nothing great.. but not bad. Rooms are large but they don’t have coffee cups instead just a glass for water and coffee. No toilet paper, no place to keep a soap or body gel. Booked 4 rooms and all 4 had these same complaints. Will be good if the management take care of these small things well to make this a good hotel. No spoons to stir, it’s not a single incident. All 4 rooms have same problems.

I'm a solo female traveller. Loved the vibe of the hotel. The manager was a very humble and polite man who made the check in process very easy.
Everything was really neat and clean and they were asking everyone to wear their masks and maintain social distancing.
The view from the room was really good but what I really liked was their gardens.
One could just sit there all day sipping tea and munching snacks.
The best part is the location of the hotel. One could just walk to the Mall road or to Landour. It's very convenient.
I'm definitely coming here again either with friends or with family or maybe even another solo trip.
I'd definitely recommend it for female travellers as the place feels very safe.

Very close to Mall Road. However it is at a height and the climb back is not always enjoyable. the service is prompt and professional. Tried their food once. Pretty good and tasty. the room that i stayed in promised a view but it wasn't much really. I stayed in the first floor, the roofing was pretty low (maybe a feature for an old place). I would certainly recommend it if the climb is not an issue. For taxi for local sightseeing etc, suggest you walk down the Taxi Union office - Picture Palace which is a very short distance from the hotel. that way you get charged a fair price and also get to see various sightseeing options. On the sightseeing options, i would suggest give the Kempty lake a total miss. it is of no use. Just do Kempty falls and then come back up and take the taxi to the next sight (other than Kempty lake)

The location of the hotel is excellent as it is walkable to the prime locations nearby. The rooms were lavish and cozy. The view from the hotel was legendary. The pricing of the hotel rooms is also very reasonable and the staff is approachable. Highly recommended.

This property will amaze you in terms of its location, comfertable rooms, views from the room and the most comforting is the hospitality of the staff. The owner stay in the property and is just a call away in case you need anything but it's the staff taht takes care of it all. Social Distancing and hygiene are maintained. The property is huge and has a British era feeling to it. The lawn is big and one can get to dine beside the bonfire every night. There are rooms catering to all categories of travellers and pockets.
The scenics beauty of the valley as well as the Ghanta ghar( Moussouri clock tower) from the room is a different experience all together. The location is excellent just a small walk from the Picture palce.
The room was comfertable and clean as mentioned. They serve food at reasonable prices and the quality was good.
As a female solo travelers you can relly on them for a safe stay. What I liked most was how the owner personally took care of my easy arrival and a comfertable stay altogether. I am coming back here definitely with my family whenever Moussouri mountains call me back. I would highly recommend this place to all specially to female solo travelers.

One of the best locations in mussoorie to stay. Very friendly staff. The location of the hotel is such that it is very close to the mall road yet it is very peaceful and away from the chaos of the mall road. Mall Road is just a couple of minutes away from the hotel so one gets both out of this location a calm and peaceful stay and the comfort of the mall road. Does not matter if you are with friends or family this location literally suits everyone.
