Had been to this Spectacular Place for my 20th Anniversary.this hotel is located at 7200 ft above sea level probably the on the highest point of mussoorie. The view from the room is simply amazing,i had booked a luxury room with balcony on a higher floor but had to settle with a luxury room w/o balcony at lower floor as they were packed and didnt have the room which i wanted.all this was manageable as the service of the staff was excellent especially mr.adarsh sharma and the guys at the restaurent.they took real good care of everything.the food was delicious.try the moong dal halwa for sure.the rooms are spacious and clean.the bathroom area is also quite spacious.the reception area is cosy and inviting and from every nook of the place you get a bird' eye view of mussoorie.if you want to go to library chowk you can walk down the slopes but returning back uphill is a tough task. My suggestion is that the hotel should provide free taxi service upto the chowk and back,as it gets real expensive to travel just the 1.5 kms by taxi (300/- to 500/- one way) . Overall a lovely experience at the dunsvirk court, would love coming back again ! Thank you !…
Very very beautifully located on the top of the mountains in Mussoorie. Its top of Mussoorie and around 4 km drive up from the Mall road. We have checked in today on 2nd September and it's a mini palace kind of property. Road was broken but the 360 degree view from top is breathtaking. Rooms very spacious. Bathrooms big and contemporary. Reception area having beautiful statues of Lord Ganesha and Lord Buddha. Nice welcome drink. Hospitality of Manager Mr Parambir excellent. Very polite and helpful. Check in staff Shashank, Ravi very helpful. Dinner buffet most delicious with great cooking by chef Kuldeep and Mr Bhagat. We were served by Ankit Rawat and shivansh. Very polite, graceful and presentable. Desserts and soup, salad great. Dinner menu was limited but all items very well cooked and served. Beautiful and artistic paintings on most walls. Nice lighting. Ample car parking.…
Best view Hotel in Mussoorie and having good amenities, only reaching to hotel require well trained driver. Food varieties can be increased. It's far from mall road so that can be a concern if u don't plan ur trip well . Valley view room have best views. As this hotel is at highest point so better to include breakfast and dinner in ur package.
Spectacular view of hills the rooms balcony. Food was extremely delicious. Super quick services. Very polite and courteous staff . Rooms are neat and clean with well mentained. Thanks to all team Dunsvirk court. Keep it up
Wouldn't come here again if you paid me. We arrived here on Christmas Eve in the middle of our northern India holiday of a lifetime, to spend 3 precious days and nights relaxing in between the touring. The rooms were good, the food was good, the views were amazing but the areas to relax and the management were very poor. We'd planned to spend time in the lounge areas, read and relax, overlooking stunning views of Mussoorie and the Himalayas. However, the lounge areas and dining areas were stone-cold. On arrival at lunchtime, we were told the heating was working, and then they confirmed it wasn't. There was a technical issue that they couldn't fix until the next afternoon. We sat there in the cold with hats, coats and scarves for lunch and later for dinner too. The next day (Christmas Day) we had breakfast and spent the time out walking in Landour and returned to the cold of the hotel again. We were told that the heating was fixed but they hadn't put it on. After an hour of the heating being on, we were still sat in the lounge and dining areas in the cold. For next two days, the temperature improved but often they only put the heating on if we'd mention it to them. Other guests, like us, ate their meals with hats, scarfs and coats. No one too impressed with the staff, their response nor the temperature of the communal areas. Our bathroom lightswitch was miasing it cover. As ever, it's not what's wrong but how you respond and the response here was pretty pathetic.…
I heard about this property, the highest located resort in Mussoorie, at 7200 ft. Owned by Lord Dunsvirk and Lord Guthrie and used as their private lodge during the Raj. Retaining its traditional architecture, the hotel has been recently restored with all modern and luxurious amenities. Being summer vacation prices were soaring like anything in Mussorie, even for the non deserving properties, but thanks to Mr. Paramveer Operation Manager, who not only offered us a better deal but also upgraded our category as well to enhance our Experience, I would like to thank him for his hospitality & making our trip memorable. The property needs minor maintenance but I was assured by him that they are going to address & counter these issues soon. Location of the property is absolutely amazing if you are nature lover as it is right at Top in Mussorie & you witness lovely mountain range from there. But access to the property is quite a task & adventure in its own way. Food is amazing & scrumptious at the property & the spread is also decent at Breakfast & Dinner. At their restaurant we met Ankit Rawat, Supervisor, such a humble soul & the way he treated & looked after our interests, despite being a new resource deserve quite an applaud. We had quite a connection with him and he ensured that all our demands get catered by the restaurant team & he left no stone unturned to make our experience splendid & memorable. It marked the true spirit of hospitality and people like Ankit Rawat ensures that family travellers like us plan a visit again to the same property without even thinking twice .…
Had a pleasant stay in dunsvirk court mussoorie, This was my second visit and it never disappoints me. Food was good, service was good Special mention to Mr. Ashwin and Ashish in reception. Each and every request was responded well and delivered on time and made sure we were comfortable Will visit soon
Please don’t visit as the hospitality is worse it’s more of a hostel then a hotel you have ample of don’ts you cannot party there you cannot order water at night and the best part is you cannot even go to the market to buy anything because hotel is way far then the market or town
Hi, The hotel is really nice and staff is courteous, but the drive is steep and is very far from Mall road. They do arrange pick and drop services from Mall road , but if you are from plains then driving on top till of hill to get there is a mess considering the jam we have in hill stations. This is probably the highest point in Mussorie so the view is indeed amazing.
The property is really amazing and the room are Marvellous and we'll appointed with excellent views of the town, only drawback I felt was the service which could have been a little upscale considering the product is great. However I'm sure that the property is still recovering from COVID times and things would be back to normal soon. Look forward to my next stay here soon
