Sat down to eat here because of the mention in Lonely Planet. Took 10 minutes for someone to notice me. Staff was very unhelpful even after noticing me. Just surprised by the general apathy in a restaurant as large as this one.

Worst part is Front Desk- they don't know how to speak with guests, only thing they know is money. They will keep reminding you at every hour that you have dues to pay. If you're checking out, they would't provide you even a water bottle. Restaurant staff have no etiquettes. I don't think they have any chef in their kitchen, all cuisines are tasteless. Not recommend at all. There are much better hotels in Vrindavan to stay.

This hotel has a good location, the building is nice, and the restaurant is lovely. The room needed some improvement. Toilet seat was broken, shower head didn't work, refrigerator was positioned so close to the wall it was impossible to plug in, and there was water damage to the plaster on the wall near the window. There was also a low grade noisy vibration in the hotel late at night. These are the kind of details that are easy to fix for a professional crew. Considering this, I felt is was overpriced for what I paid.

Disliked · Was really surprised that the only lift available was the service lift, through the kitchen, yes through the kitchen which was not clean. Lift was also the old type with pull wire door. And I was on 4th floor! So, opted to take staircase instead of going through dirty kitchen. Reception staff not too friendly with little smile if at all. Sad they have branding but lift and reception was not a good experience

THREE STAR HOTEL VERY CLOSE TO MATHURA JCT STATION ABOUT 1 KM. Rooms are good in size And Bathroom regular with tiles and shower etc BUT Very hard water for Bath . BREAKFAST Uusual mix of south indian and Local food like Parantha curd/chhole etc . SAMBHAR Was Sour.. MAIN LIFT Was not working as they were installing new lift. WE Used Service lift from the kitchen but at certain floor the door will not be locked properly and it will get stuck on that floor but still they will not keep liftman to operate the same. They serve vegetarian food being Brij Bhumi but they do serve alcohol in the lobby level BAR. Dinner we ordered in the room was good. it seems its favourite hotel for Gujaratis from Mumbai and Gujarat. overpriced hotel to some extent.

I have stayed in Brijwasi Royal in November 2019. Let's talk about hotel location which is good as Only a km from mathura junction. Deluxe Rooms are good for stay. Let's talk abt food so If you are taking breakfast in the restaurant then it's good but if you are ordering lunch or dinner then it's pathetic. You may not get quality food in your room. Now comes the staff, they would literally ask you to give them tip everytime you avail any service. Waiters in the restaurant would literally tell you that their shift is ending hence give them tip once you finish your breakfast, lunch or dinner. Overall experience is just ok kind of.
