We booked two rooms for family in jan'15. Rooms were dirty & not as per standard expected against money charged. You can stay in three-four star hotel somewhere else in same money. everything was below standard & service was really poor/pathetic. Words are even less to explain this bad experience. I stayed at the hotel for 2 days. The rooms are pretty much simple what you would find in a decent hotel. One thing that I wasn't happy about was running hot water, the hotel has separate geysers for each room and it was too small for a satisfying bath. The garden is big enough and very well maintained. Overall a pleasant stay.

Room average, bathroom average but food and waiters very good especially the naans and parhathas .. Waiters and house keepers are very friendly and caring.. Reception workers must be a bit friendly.. They are very reserved type and a bit arrogant.. Wi-Fi was very good..

Hospitality, food, dormitory are good in all respect it is a good hotel value for the money. It is in a prime location best suitable for transportation to visit nearby historical places. Staff also well supportive.

Customer service very poor. Had to make numerous calls before request was met. Very poor communication skills. Even the manager didn't want listen to request. Eating area very filthy and oily table surface.

This place should be a wedding reception place. The staff is neither trained nor geared to operate it like a hotel. It has a vast green lawn in the property which is about the only good thing about it. Apart from that, the hotel is not worth staying: - The rooms, specially bathroom are unintelligently designed (switch placements, tap layouts etc) and not very comfortable to use. Though spacious, it is it lacks all amenities and is threadbare - The bed is large and thick but is possibly made of cheap filling. Gives you a backache in the morning and sleep quality is not good (which is of utmost importance to me in any hotel) - The cleanliness is pathetic. Towels are dirty and one has to request multiple times for a clean pair to arrive. Even when they are dirty, they are not replaced next morning - There is no water pressure in the taps in bathroom. Water almost trickles from the tap. - Obviously wedding bookings get preference over in-house guests. All the parking available in the facility gets filled by wedding guests leaving no rooms for resident guests to park at times - The place is exhorbitantly priced for the kind of room and services it offers. No tea kettles, no breakfast in plan; easily the worst value for money propoerty I have been to
And all this when I was staying in Super Delux. God knows what poor souls in delux face!

Just stayed 2 nights at Hotel Goverdhan Palace. Courteous, spacious bedroom, a little dated bathroom that deserves renovation .... The set is a little outdated, the garden is the most this quiet and well located. We do not recommend the restaurant, slow service and very ordinary food. This hotel does not deserve 3 stars.

Hotel Govardhan Place is situated bang on the highway. We went for a weekend trip to Mathura and its strategic location is a plus point. All the temples and attractions be it in Mathura or Vrindavan can be covered easily.
The rooms are spacious, equipped with AC and TV. The bathrooms have geyser and hygiene. The whole hotel area has large beautifully gardens as well as good parking space.
Interiors, long hall ways and reception areas are beautifully decorated with the theme of the city. The whole property can also be an ideal place for hosting any event - be it Wedding, Engagement or any Family Function.
We had booked it for three rooms. We found one of the room was smelling bad may be not opened since many days. When we complained to the reception, they agreed to provide an alternative room for us. I would request staff to open rooms for better ventilation.
One can order food in the room. The Staff is polite and cooperative.We had booked it online and found it as a good deal.
