Nice experience. Breakfast was great, a lot of variety including sandwich, alloo Puri, upma, cutlet, idli sambhar, chutney, fresh mango juice, packaged juice, freshly cut fruit watermelon, etc. Rooms were clean, however the size of washroom is a little small in comparison to other hotels I've visited so far.
Staff was very helpful as we got stuck with a rude auto driver, however, the staff helped us by making the driver understand the route.

I visited this hotel recently on a solo business trip.
The reception and hotel staff was welcoming which was a suprise as I haven't had that in my earlier stays at other hotels in Mathura before.
The rooms were spacious and the views were scenic.
The food and room service were at the level of any other 5 star hotel you might go to, so I can safely say, it was money well spent.
The checkout process was also quick and hassle-free.
I would recommend the place for a short business trip or a long stay as well.

Expect a five-star experience from the moment of arrival, with even the smallest of details accounted for.
The hotel’s sleek, contemporary interior design with plenty of soft, neutral shades and rooms flooded with mood-boosting natural light. Nature also plays a crucial role in the decor of the hotel, with natural wood finishes and a big garden which we mostly walked on naked feet.
Hotel Cleanliness and hygiene was excellent.
The food in the restaurant was delicious, tasty along with healthy options available.
Staff was attentive and helpful. They’ll be there the moment you step foot into the vast lobby, on hand to carry bags.

Really poor hotel. Beware and I don’t say this lightly - The Hotel manager is the rudest I have met; namely Sisodia. He resorted to Shouting in the hotel corridor because I was complaining that there had been no hot water for 2 days. Though they sent out maintenance to fix it, having these men trying to fix the hot water in your room after a day out, is not the greatest experience when all you want is a hot shower. So after 2 days of not hot water I asked to move rooms, after 2 people came to check if there really was no hot water, they said I could move to another room down the corridor. Naturally we checked if there was hot water in the new room, lo and behold there wasn’t! There also wasn’t in a third room on the same floor. I went to complain and the front desk manager wasn’t really able to help further than letting me move to another room with cold water so I asked for the hotel manager. The man approached me and said he wanted to check if there really was no hot water, which I found quite surprising and therefore asked why he needed to check, did he not believe his hotel guest, when I was reporting that there was no hot water and around 6 of his men were already in the room trying to check the same. He insisted he needed to check as apparently he was an engineer. After reaching the room he did NOT check… Instead he resorted to shouting in the corridor and when I asked for a discount due to the incompetence and inconvenience I had been enduring he said he would check and call me in 5 mins. It is now 24 hrs later and he has not had the courtesy to call. I asked Sisodia what he was going to do if there was not hot water the next day and he said he “gives a 100% guarantee that there would be hot water24hrs a day”. Guess what, day 3 no hot water and maintenance had to come take another look! I cannot stress enough this hotel looks lovely in pics, but the food made a family member unwell, there is NO hot water streaming 24/7, there are only around 9 rooms occupied in the hotel. Don’t be fooled by the pics and 50 odd reviews. There are so many better hotels around, last time I stayed at another hotel in vrindavan and it was top notch. Let’s see if Sisodia gives us a discount before we leave, he didn’t seem bothered by the inconvenience or the way he handled himself and shouted at a young lady in the corridor of the hotel. This would not have been allowed in the UK nor at any 3star plus hotel in India. Such a pity as this hotel has good potential. But do be wary if you decide to book.

Dear Guest, Greetings from Lalita Grand, Mathura!!! Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to share your experience. We have gone through your comments and investigated your issues with my team. We would like to inform that due to some technical issue the lukewarm water was available on the first day for which we are really sorry. After your complain the team worked upon it and the very next day the hot water was available which was shown to your mother and you too. After the complaint was dissolved you insisted for the discounts which was not possible from our end as your booking was from other online platform. Even during the checkout, you insisted for discount which was really not possible from our side. In regard to your point regarding my rude behaviour firstly being into the hospitality background we cannot shout at our valuable guests. I was just trying to assist you for your issue and was trying to make your stay comfortable. You are most premium guest and as said in India Methodology “ The Guests are God” to us and we cannot even think of being rude to you. We would apologize if you felt anything wrong about us. Please share your contact number for further communication. Looking forward to serving you soon. Thanks & Regards Teekendra Sisodia General Manager

Stayed here for two nights as a solo traveller, in an Executive Balcony room. This was my very first visit to Mathura so can't say if this is the best hotel in the area. But I believe it might be.
The hotel is very new, modern and clean. It's located outside the noisy city, and is very peaceful.
The room was generally nice. The bedsheets had laundry/iron burn marks (common in India) but clean otherwise. Bed was comfortable and had good sleep both nights.
Bathroom was super nice and modern, and fully supplied with amenities.
The balcony was great to enjoy the late afternoon and evenings. My balcony was facing the back yard, and got to enjoy the sunrises. Only thing that bother me at first is the balcony is shared with all rooms and no privacy between your and the neighbours. Luckily for me, no one else was out at the same time as me.
The pool seem be fully functional now however, there is no bar service operational yet. This was a disappointment as it mention on their website "one can enjoy beers with the meal at the restaurant". To me evening beer is very important and was a factor in choosing this hotel. One star rating less because of this. If the bar is not operational yet then this needs to be Cleary mentioned on the website.
The restaurant otherwise was good. I opted mostly for continental menu. not the best food but not bad either. The staff were great.
Breakfast not that great though. Limited options, and the coffee espresso machine not working either. No cooked egg or dosa options. Another star lost on this.

The Lalita Grand in Mathura is an elegant, beautiful, and wonderfully quiet hotel near the holy city of Vrindivan and Agra (Taj Mahal). I highly recommend staying here to access your sightseeing based in luxury and comfort. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well-appointed. At first we didn’t have hot water, but after we mentioned it, they fixed it and we had plenty of hot water. The staff is attentive and courteous. I especially want to give a shout out to Akanksha at the front desk. We enjoyed our stay!

The hotel in general is neat. Ample parking. Good value for money. Staff is polite mostly.
Breakfast is decent.
Room ceiling height is good. Balcony in many rooms. Amenities are fine.
But NO hot water during the day in the chilling cold. Hot water supply only in the mornings for few hours. There is concern from many rooms, and the hotel Staff says there is plumbing issue and after much hush hush, there is still no hot water. They do not switch the boiler on during the day and evening.
Resturant food is slightly below par. Poor serving quantities. Had tomato sauce in our mixed veg dish!!

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at The Lalita Grand. I had booked a 3-night stay (13-Nov to 16-Nov), but due to the unacceptable conditions and service, I checked out within 2 hours of checking in. Unfortunately, the hotel management refused to refund the charges for the unused nights, despite the issues being entirely on their part.
Here’s what went wrong during my short stay:
Delayed Check-In: The check-in process was unnecessarily delayed, setting a poor tone for the stay.
Wrong Room Allotment: The room provided was not the one I had booked, adding to my frustration.
Cleanliness Issues: The room, especially the bathroom, was in a deplorable state. The attached photo of the bathroom clearly shows the lack of basic hygiene.
Unprofessional Staff: Both the front desk staff and the manager exhibited unprofessional behavior and failed to address my concerns satisfactorily.
After checking out of this hotel, I chose to stay at a 3-star hotel in Vrindavan, and to my surprise, it was far better in every aspect than this so-called 4-star hotel. It’s disappointing that a hotel claiming higher standards failed to meet even the most basic expectations.
Despite bringing these issues to their attention immediately and checking out the same day, the management refused to offer a refund or any compensation. Their lack of accountability and unwillingness to resolve such serious concerns reflects poorly on their commitment to guest satisfaction.
I would strongly caution future travelers to reconsider staying at this property, as the experience was far below acceptable standards for hospitality.

This was our second visit to Lalita Grand . This time we booked for6 lnights as we found the service and the location very appealing on our previous visit . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay . The executive room was on ground floor and suited us well . Although the “balcony” was shared, no-one else seemed to be using it .
The place is clean enough but housekeeping staff do need better management. We understand that recruitment and retention is an issue . However, any issues are dealt with promptly and without hesitation.
I have mobility issues snd staff were extra helpful, going out of the way to ensure my safety and be supportive.
We had all our meals in the hotel and each meal was very good . They had no hesitation in meeting our dietary demands . The staff were even serving from the buffet . Room service was great too and arrived in no time.
Laundry service was very useful when you travel with limited luggage but one day we waited hours for it to be collected only to be told that laundry man wasn’t coming! Minor issues like this can easily be resolved with better communication.
For the last two nights we had a room on the third floor as the executive floor was full. This was not so great as construction was going on in the terrace and room was getting dusty all the time . It isn’t the management’s fault, just our bad luck .
The wifi was great too which we greatly appreciated
We had chance to sit in the garden one evening which was great . We could hear the birds and the pool was clean and inviting.
Needless to say we hope to return here every-time we visit Mathura . And we gave already recommended this hotel to friends and family.
One facility we missed and would have been great to have was a taxi . There was a card of a local taxi but we find hotel taxis are safe and reliable.

This is one of the best hotel in Mathura and Virndavan.
The hotel is all covered with lush greens and a great view.
Rooms with balcony are just amazing and a different experience all together.
Service right from the check-in to checkout are seamless.
This property is the only property in mathura which can be compared to a 5 star hotel.
The team never compromise on health and safety of its guest and are always there to help.
Restaurant F&F has got a great alfresco for morning breakfast and evening Hi Tea.
I wish this property to do wonders and Be No. 1 in Mathura.
All the very best and Kudos to team Lalita Grand 🥂🥂
