We got a large corner ac room on the 1st floor (similar to the 2nd pic which has a pillar in the room). Room was comfortable, spacious and clean. While passing through the corridor, I got a peek into one room which looked much smaller and had an ac, so I am only guessing that the room we were given was much larger than the standard rooms. Note - The first pic of a room displayed with warm lighting and red curtains, doesn't appear to be of this hotel and appears to have been accidentally posted by a traveller.

I had been booking my hotel rooms well in advance every time i move out of my city. but, this time, for a change, i thought , let me try a hotel after landing there. And intently, i didnt want a star hotel this time, perhaps, i wanted to see how the unstarred category hotels maintain their economics and guest relation . i was not impressed by the guest relation, except for the reception, where the person behing the counter had a smile always on his face;perhaps the owner of the hotel was around most of the times and that could be a reason. that apart, in my two days stay, no one came to clean the rooms, nor the rooms were tidy . worst part, there are lots of mosquitoes which would keep your sleep cycle in and out and finally when the day breaks, you are half tired in the bed . a small bit of advice for those coming on religious tour. prefer hotels in brindavan, which is about 25 kms rather than Mathura . Most of the temples, gardens and places of interest are in and around brindavan and a three wheeler auto would charge you upto rs 500 for a up down travel, which might eat into your budget. in mathura, you have only the birth place, or janmabhoomi of Lord Krishna to see and if you are travelling by train, rail head is at Mathura . i could see lots of new hotels in Brindavan. A commonly sounding advice, be careful of pick pocketeers and yes Monkeys too, who snatch food and purses right from your hand.

This place is disgusting! And the rooms definitely don't look like that picture they posted. The rooms were filthy, no hot water, no towels, no toilet paper, the window didn't even close all the way! The staff sucks, front desk guy is a creep, wifi is awful when they feel like turning it on. And, if it weren't bad enough, mice in the room as soon as the lights went out, and fleas in the bed. We originally booked 3 nights, didn't even make it 12 hours! They did refund us our money through Agoda though, and the restaurant downstairs was cheap and not awful. Not a place for foreigners!
