During our visit to Mathura, we stayed in this hotel. The hotel looked very attractive from outside, but the facilities were non-functional. We had to shift 3 rooms to get a working AC, forget TV. The price is high compared to the services. The major problem lies in maintenance.

The rooms was clean and cozy, the hotel staff helpful and the price reasonable. On negative was that the nearby lawn hosted some wedding functions during nights, causing noise and disturbance. The food was typical marwari food and should especially be enjoyed by peaple who like it spicy.

We stayed at Hotel Mukund palace from 26/05/2009 to 28/05/2009. We had a personal event at mathura. The Hotle looked very attractive from the outside, however the house keeping and ambience and the room Upkeep requires a lot of improvement. Safety needs a special Attention , especially electrical Safety- No proper earthing and , No Plug tops for Air-c onditioners... The Qaulaity of food was very good, very well prepared. The Recepion requires a better face lift, receptionists are quite low in Energy and Hospitality required improvement.

I Sandeep went to Mathura with family to do darshan of Kanha. We booked hotel Mukund Palace on 14-08-2022, hotel was looking nice and beautiful from outside but rooms were not properly maintained.
When we stay in hotel, we have noticed the following problems:
1) The hotel staff were not even talking to the customer properly nor answering well.
2) There was no phone available in the room for communication. We are calling on mobile but nobody was receiving the call easily.
3) We called them to provide the drinking water but they don't gave us the water still after 45 minutes. Again we called, then they bring the water and water quality was not good. I am attaching the picture of the Jug in which they gave water to us.
4) They don't provide the towel, soap etc.
5) After informing many times, they don't cleaned the room.
6) TV was not working.
7) AC remote was not available in the room to set the temperature according to our need because it was raining outside.
8) Pipe of wash basin was chocked due to which water was gathering in the basin which was looking very dirty. Photo attached.
9) There was no water coming in the bathroom comode, we inform many times but don't repair it after checking out.
When we were checking out, we were telling about the above problems but they were not giving answers. They also not provide us the exact contact number of the owner.
Kindly be aware before checking In.

Today, I went go to this hotel and the hotel manager is not good by her behaviour. She was talking very rudely and has no sense that how to talk with the customer. I really don't like it... And the faculty is not good...Even she doesn't deserve one review.

Stayed at this hotel for just one day. When you enter this hotel, it looks so grand. And trust me you will get mesmerized by it. When you check the In-room Amenities, it states Air-conditioned, Attached bath, Hot and cold running water, Direct dial facility, Television with satellite connection, Round the clock room service.
But, in reality, this is what you might get any one of these in your rooms.
1. AC not working.
2. Direct Dial not working
3. No DTH service in the Television sets. Even if the TV in your room has DTH service, you will get selective 5-8 channels surely.
4. Pathetic Room Service wherein you have to repeatedly ask them to clean the Water Jug.
5. Cards are not accepted here.
6. Wash Room lights might not work even after the electrician has repaired it twice.
So, don't get foxed by its external splendor. Do check everything before taking any room in this hotel. Otherwise, you will have to change rooms multiple times to get everything in order.
But, in reality, this is what you might get any one of these in your rooms.

we, family of 5 had stayed there for 1 night. Worst experience. They don't have any room service. there is only 1 employee in the hotel. He is the manager cum waiter cum bell boy cum chef cum receptionist... never stay in that hotel for god's sake

We stayed for just one day but we had to change our room twice because the TV, AC and washroom lights were not functioning, it was terrible. The manager didn’t bother to change the light of washroom even after repeated calls. Over all the response to the complaints was very bad. It seems they don’t clean the room once visitors leave the rooms, as the condition of washroom and room was very poor and they were not cleaned up. It is quite a big hotel and surprisingly they don’t have the card swipe machine, we had to go outside – hunt for an ATM – drew cash and paid the rent. The stay was very disappointing. Very poor hospitality from the manager and other staff members and it was not at all a pleasant stay. The hotel from outside looks very beautiful but the services are totally terrible and horrible.

I planed a trip to Mathura,Vridavan with my family, I was searchig for a hotel , which should be decent with good service for my family. I picked this Hotel "Hotel Mukund Palace" by seeing some good reviews.
I want to beware all the travelers for this property, this is poor maintained property with even more poor services.
Rooms are clumsy, washrooms are so old and pathetic, you even don't want to look inside.
I go to know that they have two types of rooms one type for OYO rooms ad one type for all others, OYO rooms are comparatively good quality rest are pathetic.

we liked the decor of the room which was provided to us. but other than the decor and the location of the hotel, there's nothing to praise about the hotel. The TV provided by the hotel was way too small & had only 5 channels of which 3 were tamil. The hotel had more monkeys than staffs, and the room had insufficient light. the manager didnt bother to change the light even after repeated calls. also, the hotel hosted a party on the 2nd floor and the guests of the party kept creating a chaos. even the lock of the room was not working. the room was 302. please dont stay at this hotel. it's pricey and doesnt provide decent staying. i would prefer ganga palace over this hotel. ganga palace is just opposite the road. also, if u want good vegetarian food, try and eat at YATRI BHOJHANALAY, which is near to the Mukund Palace. It provides YUM jeera-aloo. try to roam about in autos than cars, which the manager of the hotel will try to persuade you. there's an autowala named DHANIRAM... if u want comfort and decent tour, contact him. u can contact him by contacting any of the non-drunken autowalas. Dhaniram lives nearby and he is a good man. he has strong contacts at all the touring spots near Mathura. also dnt forget to visit Gokul and take guide amrish pandit. he will be dressed completely in white, just like Bollywood star Jeetendra. he will not fool u and be aware of the monkeys at gokul.
