Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
First of all its not a hotel, its a residency, which is located at good place of deharadun i.e rajpur road. I with my family visited this in 1st week of Jan'15. Not located on exact rajpur road somewhat very near by inside gali. As it is just renovated, room is very good, service is quite fine. As it is newly and not many people visited, hotel caretaker look after you and give more attention. bad thing is that no food available at hotel. But they tied up with up one good restaurant but for that one have to wait somewhat more. Better to go near by restaurants. Also, there is no generator and back up facilities. so if you plan to go there just ask them to before booking. Room rent is good unless if u get good discount like goibibo 50% discount. otherwise 2000 rs is not worth for this hotel. Overall for just stay and room interior it is good and feel better.

I have stayed here for one night and booked it through Make my trip. The room they have given us was not clean. It seems very old property and poorly managed. Furniture was very old and dirty. I won't recommend it in this price range. Wifi was not reachable in the rooms, could be used only near reception area. Hot water was not coming and even there was no water in the morning. People at the reception were absent at times and even the phone in the room was not working, nobody has repaired even after the complaint.

We booked this hotel for its location and decent reviews online. We thought that probably the negative reviews were from travelers who expected too much.
We received a cold welcome and were asked to wait till 12 noon to get the rooms. However, they gave us a family suite (so called) in the meantime.
The rooms were ready a few minutes after 12. The property was under renovation and there were more workers than the hotel staff. The cupbboard in our room was broken, there was no coffee kettle. The knob on the bathroom door came out and was asked to repair. Just when we thought we could take a nap, there was constant noise coming from outside which was of a staff member bursting balloons to clean a room. (Facepalm)
There was no arrangement of snacks/tea inside the hotel. When we requested the waiter to get tea from outside, we got less than half a cup for 20 rupees each. Anyway, since the hotel we booked didn't have a satisfaction guarantee, nothing much we could do.
The night sleep was peaceful and the rooms were cool throughout the day even without the AC.
The shower fittings, electrical fittings and the bolts/door locks were in the final stages of cancer. The AC remote didn't have batteries.
Breakfast options were just Poori Bhaji and Bread Jam. We were 4 people and the first serving came with 3 small bowls of bhaji and less than 2 pooris per head.
I can understand that a hotel needs repair and maintenance. But I would not take in guests and give them such an experience. Moreover, I would have the courtesy to apologize at least.
Lastly, please take your own towels if you still wish to stay at this place.

My husband had booked online at this hotel looking at the reviews and stars on make my trip . Me and my husband checked in d hotel for 2nights i felt that the place was haunted !!!!Only we 2 whr there in the hotel above all the windows whr open we whr not able to lock the windows, we ordered a cup of tea they said its not available? I mean at just 6:30 pm they cant provide a cup of tea ????? Toilets bedsheets etc whr very unhygienic,there staff where indescent ,i was very scared about are safety so we checked out aftr 1 hour immediately.pls never ever checkin in this hotel .

really bad service, poor arrangement, less courteous staff, delay in check in check out service and what not . please refrain from staying here as you will get frustrated with the way they handle their customers. this hotel simply doesnt treat customers in a right way and they are against the policy of customer first.

Nice guest house good place to relax. Room was nice and clean. Problem with guest house is they don't have in house kitchen but close by you will find lots of restaurants. Staff was OK Seems like there is no one to manage hotel staff.
Daichi needs to improve there services.

The hotel beds are not good. I am 6ft tall and bed was not of 6ft. When i checked with hotel staff. They informed that all beds are of same size. 6ft is an average height and I am not expecting something outside the box. Really bad experience.

Hotel location is good I stayed here before also but that was the horrible day for me .I booked room and reached by 430 in morning this was communicated to the hotel and room was on hold from previous day itself .As I reached hotel early morning 430 am and I knocked the main gate no one responded I kept of shouting and knocking the door and called 13times to hotel number but no one opened the door out of frustration I called Goibibo they also tried connecting with hotel staff but no one opened the door then they cancelled the booking asked me to move to some other hotel .By 530 I moved to other hotel stayed there .Thinking how irresponsible management is this and how insensitive and unprofessional staff they are having .I was male so I could manage standing alone for 1 hrs and then going to search another hotel but think about a female travller how she will manage such issue . My advice keep your self away from this property unless you are too adventurous.

Good for friends, not for family. No Kitchen. Not Very Responsive Staff. The location is good, in the heart of the city. Affordable as per city location. Wifi, TV, AC and Geyser available in every room.
