LP Residency is a lovely, charming place. It has a soul unlike other ostentatious structures.. its in one of the loveliest parts of the town which is reminiscent of the old Dehradun. Coco serves delicious Italian and desserts and is not surprisingly a favourite hangout with the locals. The complimentary breakfast in Zaffran is fresh and wholesome. The staff is friendly with cheerful namaste every time you meet them. It's amazing how much has been achieved in a small place. All in all its been a lovely 2 days. Wishing them the very best.

Hotel's Favourite
LP Residency exceeded our expectations - BIG time. We booked it as a "stopover hotel" on our way to Mussoorie but the experience left us in complete awe of this beautiful boutique property. What works for LP: 1. Location - LP's location is away from the busy Rajpur road and easy to get through if say coming from Delhi. At the same time, it has good connectivity to the Mussoorie road via the beautiful Cantt area. So for us that was perfect. 2. Rooms - We took the rooms in the hotel section at the back (Courtyard). A beautiful area with a front lawn where they grown their own herbs. The rooms are very nicely done up and very very comfortable. 3. Food - LP as two restaurants which are 5 star category - Zaffran and Coco. Zaffran serves Indian/Mughlai cuisine comparable to the best of food in Delhi. Coco is a beautifully setup cafe at the front of the Hotel with great Pasta (try the Ravioli), Pizza and desserts (the blueberry cheese is to die for). 4. Price - LP is very competitively priced for a services it has to offer. Far better than any of the busy Rajpur Road hotels (we actually cancelled our return booking at one of them and booked at LP again on our way back from Mussoorie). The restaurant food is also great value for high quality food. 5. Service - Finally, the service and staff. Really top notch. From the front office team of Avantika, Sakshi, Baneeta, Sanjay to the Restaurant staff - Jaindra and last but not the least Arpit - the F&B/Hotel Manager - they take customer service very seriously. One can see how well Arpit understands the F&B business and customer care. Overall, our family of 6 (including my very Sr. parents) had a great time for the 2 nights we spent at LP. We don't think we will look elsewhere when heading back to Dehradun next time. Thank you team LP for making it so memorable.

I visited this hotel in May 2022. I must admit that it was not my first choice and if it was not a last minute trip, i doubt if I would have made a reservation in this place. BUT... I was surprised!!! The location is great with excellent dining options between Authentic Italian and Indian. Do not given a miss on them. The restaurants are generally a full house on weekends and we were lucky to find a spot in their outdoor seating on a Saturday.Nice people - friendly and welcome approach. A complimentary mini bar on arrival was offered by the housekeeping team. The rooms are clean and good maintained. Yes... its not 5 start hotel. but I think that you get good value for your money. ... ho one more thing,,, Breakfast is amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Its worth the stay and even just to come to eat breakfast

The ratings on google of LP Residency hotel is shown as 5-Star. However, the standard of the staff is NOT matching the ratings. It’s worth 2 or 3 star maximum. When we tried to connect to Mr Arpit Saklani (Director Operations) regarding various issues including the inconvenience caused due to hacking of their official website, he made us feel like a beggar by offering some discount on lunch saying that “Isame hamari kya galati hai. Apaki tragedy dekh kar Maine lunch pe discount offer kiya”. That was quite humiliating which shows they do not match to the standards of 5-star hotels like Taj, Hyatt, JW Marriott etc. When we sought to connect with Mr Saklani’s superiors or owner, he rudely replied that he will not let us connect to owner and asked us to go on social media “hame faraq Nahi padega”. After that when we contacted toll free no of LP Hotels, it appeared that whole staff was trying to protect each other and tried to hide it from the owner. The entire staff thereafter behaved unnaturally with us and made us feel like leaving the hotel quickly. Mr Abhishek Goyal who is the owner of the hotel must take note of lack of hospitality displayed to the customers especially when inspite of huge amount of money lost due to hacking of hotel’s official website and yet continued to stay with them by paying extra. The owner Mr Goyal had done a project during his college days on the topic of Loyalty Programme to customers in luxury hotels, yet it seems he failed to implement the same in his group of hotels.
