Detailed Reviews
I stayed here for one night; primarily because it was the only hotel with a vacant room on the evening I arrived in Dehradun! At Rs 2150/- it wasn't particularly cheap, but it is fairly central in the town, and was very smart and comfortable, with a good range of facilities, including fridge, tea making equipment, etc. The cable tv, as is so often the case now in many Indian hotels, had only a very limited range of English language and foreign channels. Food was served in the room, but was nothing to boast about. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful, and its a very good business hotel, with no major faults.

Went for a trip to Dehradun in Oct-2014 first week and booked this hotel in advance. Hassle free check-in, no issue of car parking, good room service. We were forced by great taste of food to stay in hotel for breakfast and dinner. Even my baby (around 10 months old) was taken good care of. When asked for some plain food for baby, got it exactly the way i explained them and in time. Special thanks to chef for wonderful food for baby and family.

I received such a warm and friendly reception at Hotel Atithi and the property and rooms are beautiful. It is too near to Railway stationand Market. The proximity to the Doon City is very good and there are also some very good restaurants close by. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Hotel Staff is very Good and Services are prompt.
In all a very pleasant stay, would recommend to anyone visiting Dehradun.

I have pathetic experience with the hotel. I booked the room through hotel website and the staff at the reception at the time of check-in informed that they do not have any booking under my name. though i already paid the 10 % advance money. Staff behaved very badly with me and do not know how to behave with guest. I have been promised for complimentary breakfast and family room at the time of booking but when i reached hotel. they gave me very small room and no breakfast room no 209 and later i have to pay extra to move to a big room as i was staying with the family. room no 316 they charged 1880 rs to me and their was no amenity in the room not even soap. Staff in charged in the morning was very rude and even do not know who manage their website. had a worst experience of my life. i suggest people not to stay in this hotel.

Hotel Atithi is located in a very serene location in Dehradun and the staff is very very hospitable. The food is also good and the best part of my stay was that the hotel staff arranged everything we required during our stay - from arranging a visit to Mussoorie to booking a railway ticket for us !!!
Hats off to Atithi !! Keep up the good work !!

Due to rain fall had to book the hotel in rush. It was well connected to the important market. It was pleasurable one night stay.
Washroom was in acceptable position. Lenin were clean.Balcony was well groomed which was highlight of the hotel with good sitting arrangement. Reception was clean. Staff was good. Service was good.
But the food was very bad, I ordered Butter Toast, but hardly butter was applied, brad smelled bad, alloo paratha was under-cooked.

We stayed here 24th to 26th November 2016. The hotel is located 500m away from Dehradun railway station on Tyagi road (which is actually the hotel road) near to Prince Chowk (Very well connected place). Not much of a view point but one of the better places to stay if you need to be near the railway station. Has a very very good restaurant (Sagar Restro) both in terms of food quality and ambience. And great room service (They really want to take care of you!). Free parking also available with valet service.
But if you are with old people please beware because they have really steep stairs and no lift as of November 2016. Better confirm room(s) on the ground floor.
Pricing of room are very different than what is listed on most websites so I think it is better to book over phone.
Mr Rathor and his son are taking vary good care of the hotel and guests. I was quite amazed by their earnest hospitality.

I always stay in this hotel from last 7 years , I received such a warm and friendly reception at Hotel Atithi always ,
This property and rooms are beautiful. It is too near to Railway station and Market.
The proximity to the Doon City is very good and there are also some very good restaurants close by. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful.
Hotel Staff is very Good and Services are prompt.
In all a very pleasant stay,
When you stay in this property you feel A HOME AWAY FROM HOME .I would recommend to anyone visiting Dehradun.
