Detailed Reviews
The check-in was efficient at 2030 hours. Our luggage arrived on our floor quickly, but was set near the elevator- unsure why. The room is comfortable, with the bed and pillows being among the better we’ve experienced the past 2 weeks. The hotel only supplies 2 small water bottles/ day, but when we asked for more, they were provided. The
A/C didn’t work for a period of time in the hotel, but they rectified it within the hour. A call to the front desk brought a service chap promptly. This hotel caters to large tour groups and we found the table service drops noticeably with large groups. However, the kitchen staff and service staff kept buffet items replenished fairly quickly. The room attendant did a good job keeping our room very clean. The hotel faces a very busy road, so unless you are on the rear of property, you will hear plenty of traffic horns during the day, and wedding musical processions during the evening. The elevators are 3 in number, but are very small. So if you arriving or checking out same time as tour group, the wait can be long. We used the nice stairway when leaving the 6th floor to the lobby on our excursions. More people should do the same when exiting on day tours, without luggage. The buffet is reasonably priced , just shy of $900 INR p/p and the food is varied and nicely prepared. The head waiter is excellent, but the motivation and effectiveness of some of the younger waiters could be improved during busy serving times.

Positives:
The hotel has a good breakfast and dinner selection with a range of foods.
Nice room with an excellent shower although, my parents had cold / lukewarm water for both nights that we stayed.
Rooms were clean and well maintained.
Negatives:
Drink prices / selection changed each night we were at the hotel which was a bit confusing. Some tour group members paid different prices to what we did for drinks.
Internet was slow and unreliable. We had a late checkout but the internet code expired 3 hours before which was rather annoying.
The sinks do not have a plug.

First the location is perfect plus if you are coming by car there is ample amount of secure parking on the property. The Staff behavior is a plus point of this place. They are very polite and work hard to make sure the guests are comfortable. The food is another plus point of theirs. It tastes excellent and service is quick.
Overall its a very nice property to stay.

The Amayaa is not 5 star hotel, I would class it as a 3 star at best.
Bedrooms - we had a suite which cleaned to the best of their abilities. Bathroom needed updating, sink and tub never drained and the water was freezing. Constant complaints from us to get hot water.
Pro:
Bedroom was a decent size
Plenty of room for work and relaxing
Bed was comfortable
Laundry service was fantastic
Room attendant was fantastic
Cons;
Zero Covid Precautions
Zero reception assistance or acknowledgment
Zero assistant from porters
No fridge in suite
No iron (we had to request one)
Stains on lamps
Carpets never vacuumed
Air conditioning partially working
Internet is awful, would constantly need resetting
Room service….you’ll be waiting up to 45 mins for a bottle of water.
Hallway stank of smoke, on non-smoking floor
Food - breakfast was from 7am to 10am daily. Buffet style. However more like brunch then breakfast. Who eats chicken nuggets from breakfast?
No variety of juices or even fruit.
Croissants were stale.
The omelettes were freshly made and were cooked well.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I could not wait to leave after 5 days.

Varanasi was the last city I visited in my tour, needless to say I was very tired, and could rest and sleep well. Staff was helpful. There is a store at the hotel with reasonable prices and nice touristic itens for purchase, recommend checking it out

+1
After a long tiring week, I decided to try some new place, and visited Hotel Amayaa. This hotel is situated near the bank of river varuna in cantonment area along with famous other hotel brands.
Ambience: The Amayaa hotel has set up their new dinning area near pool side (Bhojanik Resturant). They have a luxuary ambience with two dining areas i.e, inside and outside (near poolside). Trust me the poolside sitting area looks really beautiful during night.
Food: I started with the appetizers which included fish Pudina Tikka (fresh and flavoursome) Mushroom ki gilawat (soft and delicious), Paneer chukandari Kebab, Pankhudi Hariyali and Mutton Boti kebab. Now coming to the buffet which was memorable. The menu included various dishes. I tried ghost aloo, murgh mussalam, Nawabi kofta curry, dal bhukhara with assorted breads. The buffets was delicious and filled with variety. Bhojanik Resturant has delicious Mutton biryani (fragrant layers of biryani rice centered with juicy, tender mutton) and chicken biryani (melange of chicken layered with long basmati rice), both of them were filled with flavour and aroma. The desert section was a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds. Kesari phirni had a unique taste and the apple crumble has the crisp, golden topping made of flour, nuts, brown sugar and cinnamon covers tender, juicy apples were the perfect ending to an exquisite meal.
Service: The staff were nice and service was quick. Loved the entire ambience, with soothing lights and music and offcourse delicious food. A must visit place with friends, family or a romantic pool side date ❤️

I really had a great trip to Varanasi staying at Amayaa. Had a deluxe room booked for more than a week which was very hygienic and well maintained. Housekeeping staff was also very helpful and polite, were always ready to help with whatever I needed.
Had 2 meals buffet booked which was very comprehensive with both veg and non veg options, they even have navratri food for people who fast. Restaurant Manager Vikas Gupta and others really served me well and took care of the food during my stay.
Overall I had great experience with Amayaa and it's staff.

Excellent Room at very low price compare to other. Buffet breakfast is good. The hotel is in the heart of the ciry but if you want to view ganga arti then please leave early. The only drawback is room service, delivery is quite delayed. May be when I visited all the rooms were booked

The best hotel we have stayed in in India. From the reception to the cleaning staff, breakfast, everyone is extremely friendly and dedicated, always prioritizing making the experience the best. The rooms are large, luxurious, with comfortable beds and decorated with very good taste. The location is very good and allows you to fully enjoy Varanasi. Breakfast is unmissable.
