The folks at Zostal maintain a perfect balance between fun and rules. They ensure that the guests are keeping the premises safe, clean, and fun to engage with each other while offering plenty of space to hang out and jam. One event or the other keeps happening every day that offers plenty to involve yourself in. I did not eat food at the Zostal so I cannot comment about it. But the place is pretty cool. It is even safe for families. We had a couple join us for even celebration along with their 5-year-old daughter. They seemed happy :)

Solo trip to Varanasi was in my list from past many years but it seems just not happening, but post lockdown I got the chance and what better than Zostel for backpackers trip. It was 3 nights stay, though guests were limited due to pandemic but they overall clean and tidy place. Rooms and property were clean and hygienic, staff was nice and cooperative. Though location is just fine, as you walk inside a not so clean narrow lane, but other than that rest of the things were good.

Zostel Varanasi was a great place to stay for my 3 day stay in Varanasi. The crowd is amazing and I met some interesting people during my stay. Special shout out to Dheeraj Pandey, our host, who always had great recommendations for to-dos in Varanasi. He is a great conversationalist as well, and always ready to cater to the travelers. 5/5 for my stay here.

Amazing interiors, super supportive staff and a cozy space to sleep is all what a solo traveler needs. Zostel Varanasi is the perfect place for enjoying a holiday in Varanasi. Raj took great care of me and never let me feel that I was the only female residing in the property. The cafe provided me with simple yet tasty homely food. I stayed in the dorm where I met some amazing fellow travelers. It was a beautiful experience indeed.

We had a very wonderful experience Raj offered us a pleasant and hygenic stay the cafe area was totally worth it. Common room area was very aesthetic as well and host Raj helped us in every way possible.

I spent the lock down totate of India in this hostel, 1 whole month, I got to know the owners and the guys of the stuff they were very nice and helpful people. Very spacious place with large room to meet and exchange stories and travel adventures with other travelers. room for watching TV, films, documentaries, and some Hindi lessons ... well-equipped rooms and bunk beds. generally well cleaned and tidy. you can spend nice evenings before going to sleep. appetizing

Love the hospitality of Aatish and Raj they were amazing made us feel like home, stay was very comfortable I would love to stay again if will visit Benaras again. They provided us with the map that was very helpful in exploring the city and added an extra edge to their services.

I m happy write this review coz it really made my time so much wonderful. The service is good, it's like they are the "Jinni", just ask them anything and it will be done instantly. There are really good and awesome people with whom you can hangout or share stuff you like, but for that you need to get out of the rooms and visit terrace 😂. It has a cafe on terrace and really good place to hangout. Lastly I would like to wish this team all the very best for their future. Keep the same spirit boys.😎

Amazing place with same vibes. This is how I'm gonna describe Zostel varanasi. Located in the heart of the city,the property is near to Ghats, temple and all the lipsmacking streetfood that banaras has to offer. The hostel is pretty much clean and have super clean washrooms which is a must for hygienic purposes. The rooftop cafe provides good food and beverages to smack on. Whether you need some me time or you just need to chill out with friends, rooftop is a perfect place. Raj, Shubham and Ateesh are the perfect hosts in all sense and act as guides knowing all the getaways the city has to offer. Believe me when I say this, you won't regret your stay here!
