The staff were super helpful and always could be depended upon. The room was clean and comfortable. The water in the shower - hot! The painted decor of Indian mythology in the corridors and entrance ways were charming and colorful.

As with other reviews, this place was a disappointment. I found the staff surly, the rooms were cold and noisy. Some peoples sheets were not clean and some pillows were wet. At 1500 INR per night, this place is a rip off. About time intrepid reviewed its accommodation I'd say.

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of an Intrepid tour. Room 207 can only be described as very average. No fridge or safe, broken toilet lid. The bed is stuck in a corner with only 1 side access. Everything in the toilet/shower get when is wet when having a shower. Wifi is only available in reception. On the plus...

I just had a quick read of the other reviews and I don't have much more to add! Stayed on an Intrepid tour and it was the worst on the tour. And I don't like being mean! Staff weren't particularly friendly and the room was cold and dirty. I have passed on info to Intrepid - I'm sure there are...

This hotel was part of a stay on an Intrepid tour. Of course, one knows that on a basic tour, no one is expecting five star accommodations. But this was much lower than any standard of basic. Cold - and I mean freezing cold, as in a total absence of any heat - rooms, and gross sheets are the norm...

As per others, here as part of an Intrepid tour. Other than a nice waiter in the restaurant, service was poor. When the card machine didn't work to pay the bill, the implication was it was my fault. The hotel was cold and very loud and I only managed one hot shower in a three night stay.

We were here on an Intrepid tour, and as others have reviewed its very basic and the worst on our tour. Very grubby rooms with stained sheets. The toilet leaked so the bathroom floor was always wet (I hope with just water). Frequent power cuts so the aircon was off (the generator kept the lights on but couldn't keep the...

I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at the Haifa as part of an intrepid tour. I was aware that the hotels would be basic but this was the worst of the lot and at least the others were clean! My room (104) was dingy and infested with cockroaches! I had to get the staff to try and get...

The staff are very rude and not approachable at all, the waiter doesn't speak and just stares at you. Very unimpressed with their customer service level The hotel is adequate, nothing special but good walking distances to markets and garages.

Hotel Haifa is getting very outdated and could do with a refurb. We had an ok room to start with but had to change because of a mix up with beds, so moved into a tiny room which had cockroaches all over the bed. We changed again and the room was a little better but everything is a bit old...
