I stay at this hotel every year when I visit with a group. The reason I choose this hotel is because of the staff. They are all so accommodating, friendly and caring that I see them as family, in a way. The problem is the owner. This year upon my check out he changed the rate of my rooms and was asking me to pay 500 rupees extra per room per night than what gas already been agreed. It left such a bad taste in my mouth as this should have been mentioned before my stay, not on check out. I am also aware of other regulars who faced the same issue this year. The other issue is that the owner regularly disturbs the peace by coming down and shouting at the staff in the lobby, about money. This is a grand shame and I don’t understand how the staff have tolerated this behaviour for all these years.

Apurv Mishra is a wonderful property /owner manager with great experience in the hospitality industry.. Prompt responses to specific checkin/checkout requests. Along with his father's expertise , this property has a unique tradition /vibe with an addition of Shiv Mandir with Standing Nandi.. If you are traveling for work along with spiritual activities please ensure to let Apurv know abt internet requirements.. Located strategically next to the renowned Assi Ghat /Jagganth Temple / some the best cafes /restaurants right next door, it will be a visit made comfortable by the owners!

Great, friendly service. If you need help with anything, the staff is always ready to help. They provided heaters, toilet paper, and towels whenever we asked (which was often). Amazing and a wide variety of food at good prices. The rooms were clean. Close to Ghats and Ganga. Near many cafes. Great food stalls and shops nearby.

Every review here regarding rude and arrogant owner behavior is true.To all, Better book some other hotel.
1.I booked master executive double room, and they allocated a different small room for my family. When i asked about it, they refused to change.pic of small room is attached
2. Children requires hot water for bath. There is no hot water coming in the bathroom.I constantly complaints for 2 days and guess,no hot water was provided. Rudely owner says we have boiler and solar water heater but hot water not needed for bath. Owner lied many times.
3. Reception room services not responsive many calls were not attended.
4. Such rude and toxic people running the hotel. We paid for the service and unfortunately we didnt get service. Only positive staff is pappu bhai, cleaning staff.

Haifa at Assi ghat is a highly recommended accommodation for stay at Varanasi. The efficiency with which the hotel runs is value for money. Very high standard of hygiene, quick response by the reception & unlimited supply of RO filtered water makes the hotel a worthwhile stay. It’s 100 mtrs fromAssi ghat.

We stayed for 2 weeks. Sometimes the geyser and heater would be off but the staff was very nice and quick to help and always fixed the issue within 15 minutes. The food was good and it was close to the ghats and the university which was really nice for us!

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. I travelled with lots of luggage and despite the stairs up to the elevator this was one of the nicest places we stayed in.

Hotel Haifa is one of the worst hotels I've ever been to. I stayed here with my family and the hotel charged a whopping 2800 per day. Expecting that 2800 would mean proper services and hotel sanitation I was utterly disappointed to say the least.
Hotel Haifa is dirty, rooms are not maintained, flush doesn't work, switchboard is bad, hygiene issues and no room cleaning.
Do not stay at this hotel as it doesn't have even basic necessities necessary to stay here. You'll waste your money if you stay here and will be disappointed to the core.
