I stayed here with my friends for 2 days. Rooms are good, well ventilated, air conditioners are working fine . Although services is quite poor, staff is not responding to calls and totally inhospitable.
Hotel location quit is very close to holy temple ,neat and clean ,friendly staff ,Get a change to stay in Hatawa Palace ,excellent feeling . Suggesting to friends must spend atleast 1 night , nice place to stay with friends /family . Overall excellent ,but only things they did not give me tax invoice like others hotel provided .
Stayed here for 3 nights. Was not at all impressed with the hotel. The place needs proper maintenance and is short staffed. The "deluxe" room that we were allotted had nothing deluxe in it, the mould on the wall was coming off and attempt has been made to cover that by placing the TV in front of it. The room was longishly spacious but very ordinarily appointed. This hotel I guess mostly caters to marrage party guests and the lawns are let out for wedding ceremonies. In fact while we were there, one evening two weddings were taking place simultaneously. To get our bottles refilled with water and to have our tea cups cleaned it took us almost an hour after three phone calls! There was no wifi connection for the entire duration of our saty, i.e., three and a half days that we stayed ! Passwords were shared with us and after complaining that there was no connection I was told that passwords were changed recently and they did not have it !! However the person at the reception tried his best to help us whenever we wanted anything. The corridors were dirty most of the time. One had to repeatedly ask for tea bags and sugar satchets to be provided everyday. Even on check in there were no towels in the toilet, we had to ask for it. Food is average. Breakfast is due to start at 7.30 a.m. We were scheduled to leave for Vindhyachal at 8 one morning after breakfast but even at 8.15 a.m. nothing was prepared, we had to leave after having only a cup of tea and a few bread toasts. The hotel needs improvement in all areas. Overall a very average place to stay even though it is a heritage property turned into a hotel.…
We stayed in a suite and the bathroom was not clean. Overall the property could have been made reallt beautiful but there is hardly any maintenance. The place is totally unimpressive from the outside but better once you enter in. The rooms are sapcious but the walls and fittings all need so much repair. The food is expensive and is not their USP, its not worth the price. The staff is good. The location is good.
The pool in the picture they advertise had no water in it when we were there. The hotel was dirty and there was mould on the walls in the bedroom. The wallpaper was chipped and they provided the smallest pillow I have ever had. Breakfast was minimal. There was no choice - two waiters offered an omelette or toast - then went off and got it. There was a large hole in the floor of the breakfast room. Our tour company agreed to move us out after one night!
Nice atmosphere to stay.... A kind of heritage hotel of HATHUA MAHARAJ....great ambiance from heritage point of view....one thing a had a bad experience over there was about food that may be of some genuine reason or not I don't know but their kitchen was out of stock for any food order.
This hotel is best for South Indian ppl who are visiting Varanasi , best South Indian food we had in the entire 7 day trip ... rooms are clean, service is good and staff are friendly.... best budget hotel in Varanasi
We stayed at hotel Pallavi international for 3 nights during our conference at BHU. It is a heritage hotel, earlier palace to maharaja of Hathwa. The hotel is located next to Chetganj police station in main market area but still away from usual sound of market. Its quite peaceful. The rooms are large, clean, well decorated and with traditional touch of maharajahs furniture.Bathrooms was also clean.Rooms were AC with flat screen television set.Early morning they provide you with tea and news paper in room. The staff was very polite, cooperative and supportive.Room service and house keeping was excellent. We had breakfast and it was good. It was a mix of continental and Indian items. Restaurant staff is also very polite and cooperative. Overall it was a very nice experience and definitely strongly recommended for friends as well as families.…
We stayed two nights in this hotel. Room service was best during our stay in India. We could spent best time in Varanasi! The breakfast were nice. There were Indian food and western food. So we can enjoy both of them.
