This hotel, a charming and sprawling property in the midst of the bustling touristy part of the city takes the bar and sets it high. Excellent and spacious rooms , very well done and comfortable, indulging baths, great fine dining and prompt service..all comes together to become this gem of a hotel. My stay was very personal and comfortable, the hosts are a lovely people and will make sure every need of yours is taken care of and you can often see them in the gallery taking care everything is immaculate.
The stay was very reasonable on the budget too as when compared to any other 5 star properties it had no lacking but better amenities and the pricing was justified at almost half the rates of anywhere else.
Whenever the road takes to Benares, Diamond Hotel is THE PLACE TO STAY.

We had visited Diamond Hotel in the month of March 2020 at the time of Corona.

From the time we checked in till the time we left hotel because of the lockdown they took great care of us.

They were indeed a "Friend in Need".

They gave their best to look after us. Be it the scarcity of food , transportation ...you name it and they provided us with all the essentials that were needed during lockdown.

When all guests left the hotel and only our family was there they gave us full support and took care of us ...just like a near family member would have done.

At every step , Mr Sardari Kaul , the GM of the hotel took care of our well being. He acted like a pillar of strength during these times of emergency. Indeed he was a pillar of support to us also.

The housekeeping staff were excellent in their service as well as the Kitchen and FnB Service staff.

During lockdown they personally drove us to the airport, the Operations Manager (he drove the car) and the Front Office executive both escorted us , ensuring our safety at every step.

What more could we had asked for during these emergency times...only realised that God did send them as "Angels" to look after us .

"Thank you" is a very small word for the support they gave us.

So I could only say their hospitality only reiterated the fact that Diamond Hotel truly believes in "Atithi Devo Bava" and acts accordingly.

Will be ever grateful to you all,
Kanyakumari Roy

We stayed here for three nights and were so well looked after. The rooms are super clean and very comfortable, and the staff cannot do enough to make sure you have everything you need.

Everything from small requests for irons, hairdryers to requests for dishes to be modified for the kids were promptly and cheerfully taken care of. The masala omelettes and dosas at breakfast were excellent, and they make a brilliant tomato chutney with breakfast. Great chai and cheese toast too.

All in all, it was a fantastic stay, and would highly reccomend it.

Extremely child friendly too and great location, walking distance from the ghats.Mr Kaul and all the staff really went out of their way to make our stay great, and made sure we got to experience the absolute best of Benaras, with awesome reccomendations for local good, sights, and shopping.

It is not worth spending around 6000 per night here..it's very unhygienic, the rooms are so uncomfortable, really stinking bed sheets and blankets..
The staff is so so rude and not helpful at all..they should do a course in hospitality!
Restaurant staff and front desk staff I haven't seen more unprofessional and rude people.
Kindly if you have young kids do not book this place, for this price you can get better options.

Food is also very average and over hyped.

We stay in this hotel 1-2 times a year nearly 10 days each stay. Location is great so is the staff and the food. Within a walking distance from Ghats. Spencer's Supermarket is at the next building and on the other side is the IP Vijaya Mall. Efforts to keep renovating and make the stay enjoyable, are well noticed and appreciated. Restaurant lead by Chef Riyasat offers variety of delicious dishes and is highly recommended.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Diamond Hotel. Every single staff member I interacted with, from the valet to the check-in team and the diligent cleaning staff, were not only delightful but also incredibly eager to assist. The rooms were impeccably clean, exuding a remarkable level of comfort, and the staff's dedication to ensuring our stay was enjoyable truly went above and beyond our expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend the Diamond Hotel to anyone planning a visit to Varanasi.

The Diamond hotel was not same as before all new staffs, the taste of food was not like same as before. I visited with my friend he came from Hyderabad. We use to go here before covid bht the after covid suddenly everything changed. All new staffs, the service is very poor, the glass bottle colour are coming down. We have ordered chilli chicken and surprisingly chilli chicken was full of onions and capsicum. The butter chicken taste was not like as before same goes for chilli chicken, the service was very poor we had waited 20mins to order our second part of breads. Thank Goad we had not ordered Biryani. Overall I’ll not recommend this place now because Diamond hotel has lost their taste, their values and most important their customers.

nice location, next door to Vijaya Mall
easily accessible and quite close to Assi Ghat and couple of others.
old property, lounge and lobby is well laid out ... rooms do need some renovation
leaking flush, flickering tubelight in bathroom ... a peculiar smell, even in a non smoking room.
overall, okay for 1-2 nights, decent, but nothing great to talk about

Stayed for a couple of nights for a small family get together and it was amazing how Anshuman and team helped us throughout the stay. Thumbs up to that.

The event at Navratna was nice. The hall is well suited for a small get together and served amazing food. We hardly had to get involved with the organizing and the team manager most of it.

The rooms are comfortable and I like how the hotel is not that loud. The place is located well near the ghats and temples, so you don't spend time commuting through the traffic

A special shout out to the room service for the amazing food. Though the service could had been faster

The ID is to identify the guests, even a local has the right to stay in hotels in his city, hence ID has no relevance to your locality.
