Clean no frills and very functional accommodation, most staff interactions are brief and professional! Food is good, wholesome and menu varied enough but not extensive - aptly !
Of the two restaurants - their main one Cilantro is much recommended for what it offers and will more used as it offers all the meals while rooftop bar and restaurant is nice for where it is (poolside), it's live music can be overwhelming for some ! Also, please prepare yourself to settle your bill even if you're staying at the hotel as it's a separate entity - wish they display it prominently / share at the outset !

The hotel is located on sarnath road. It has comfortable rooms. The rooms were spotless and well maintained throughout the stay. The toiletries were of impressive quality. The breakfast service was outstanding. The variety and quality of food options offered were impressive. The dining area was well-organized and maintained, providing a pleasant ambiance to start the day. The staff members especially Diksha Gupta were attentive, ensuring that tables were promptly cleared and replenished. She accommodated all dietary preferences and special requests with professionalism and efficiency. Overall, a good experience at the hotel.

The Fern Residency is having neat and clean Rooms ,Bath rooms are sanitized with most modern accessories (hot water selection is littletricky). Excellent service..Great food! Overjoyed! The fern continues it legacy to provide the best services including some of the best rooms with the best location and view of the city varanasi. Its a cherry on top swimming pool gives the best view of the city. The food is delicious and varied dishes and desserts are provided

Fern Residency is located in a peaceful area, and the staff are courteous, generous, and supportive. Ms. Deeksha Gupta, the hostess, was particularly attentive to our food needs. The place is well maintained, clean but a bit far from city.

Highly recommending the hotel for stay or for organizing events like marriage , engagement etc
We organized a engagement and marriage function in Nov22 . This was a big event for us and at a point intime we had two banquets and 24 rooms booked in the hotel with more than 40+ guests staying in the hotel and hosted over 400+ guests.
We were overjoyed with the courtesy extended by the hotel staff and the amount of help support that was provided. The hotel staff ensured that each event engagement on 27nov and marriage on 28th nov was seamless . Each staff member ensured maximum comfort for our in-house guests during the stay and very very flexible and helpful in their approach to serve the guests
The food quality and taste was awesome all through during the marriage event and during the dining as well. The rooms are very comfortable with all amenities in the hotel
Team Fern was more of family before we left . Thank you to shweta Jaiswal , Ved prakash , Mintu kumar , vivek ranjan , pankaj , Ajay who were round the clock available for any kind of support
Special thanks to Sachin Maurya( sales Manager) vivek kumar ( FnB manager) , Jitendra ( Chef) due to which were able to organise such a big function with such grace and wonderful arrangements.

Except for the restaurant and the service provided there not at all satisfactory. Not worthy of any star hotel. Location outside and far from city . Receptionist ( amit) I don’t understand how they people like this sit on reception. A very non transparent hotel did not get my bill for the stay , when I enquired I was told they don’t give it to the guests and will send to the travel agent highliting lot of hidden costs and Comissions involved. They even have the guts to say for them customers are not important but the travel agent as they send them business , customer may travel once in a while but agent will keep on sending business. I urge everybody to boycott this sort of hotels for your own good . Till now I had a good repute of fern in my mind due to my previous visits at other properties but after this visit I would urge everybody to boycott fern hotels and other such non transparent guests insensitive properties for your own good.
The 2 stars I have only because of the restaurant people who actually deserve a 5 star and rest of the things should be rated in negative. If you don’t want to spoil your holidays then stay away from fern it’s priced like a 4 star but not worth even 1 star

Just returned from a four night stay in Varanasi -Sarnath. Initial doubts about staying in an unknown property vanished as the hotel turned out to be quite delightful.
The rooms were larger than most ‘branded’ hotels with superb air conditioning, large beds, sensible furniture, luggage space which did not intrude into the living space. The bathroom was very well appointed with excellent fixtures, separate shower & bathtub areas. Water supply, hot & cold were fully functional,
There was a large, wall mounted TV with plenty of channels subscribed, not necessary the case in most hotels!
There was only one restaurant, the Cilantro but it proved totally adequate with Indian, Western and Chinese offerings. Food was well made and presented. The staff, particularly the manager were very accommodating. Alas, the hotel is dry!
Reception, house keeping, luggage handling, etc were more than adequate.
The only negative was they seemed to host a lot of weddings and receptions which result in a rather noisy, crowded milieu !

Good, value for money hotel. We had one suite and one regular room. Both were spacious and comfortable. Room service food and food from a la carte at the restaurant downstairs were both always good and they served good quantities too. However, breakfast was average, a lot of scope for improvement there. Also, service at the restaurant and even housekeeping need to buck up. They were not up to standards. Room wasn’t cleaned for over 3 hours despite informing the staff that we were leaving and they could clean. Breakfast service was very slow and they either served us the items very late or completely forgot serving altogether!
It’s a good hotel, a little far from old banaras city and the ghats and shopping. But there are no good hotels close to the main attractions. This is a good choice only with minor glitches. Rooftop pool and resto bar are a must visit.
