Simple guest house with basic fascilities. 1 minute walk from Manikarnika Ghat. a lot of monkeys make noise early in the mornings. Price-quality ratio is ok. No shelves for clothes, dust, hair in the shower/toilet room.

Shanti is very cheap, but also very basic. The rooms look like prison cells, but the beds are okay. Bathrooms have running water, but thats about it. There is a nice view from the rooftop, but ordering food there is strongly discouraged.
