Khushi Guesthouse is a family run guesthouse and we are situated near Assi Ghat and 5 minute walk from Assi Ghat River. This can be seen from our rooftop view. We are also next to Lolarak Kund Temple regarded as an important religious place and an old water well is in close proximity. Available at the guesthouse are various sized rooms each with private bathrooms and hot showers are also available. A sharing Kitchenette Internet wifi, large dining table and library are for all to enjoy and share. There is plenty of room for yoga and meditation on the rooftop with pleasant views of sunset and sunrise. You can enjoy peaceful surroundings and a calm atmosphere. Although there is no restaurant breakfast, lunch and dinner can be provided. We can also supply boat trips at sunrise and sunset and 1-5 day tours can also be arranged with food and lodging. Doctor on call, taxi arrangements and guide tours of Benares are further services available.

Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Rooms are clean and homelike stay. We got early checkin and late checkout without any issue. Recommend for budget family travellers. The environment of the room is very good. The room was comfortable and had enough space. We stayed in second floor room which is having good air ventilation. we hired KashiRiders scooter (on walk in distance) to explore Banaras. Close to market place and Rani Lakshmi Baj Birth place.

The owner Mr.Rakesh is very polite & co-operative person. The basic facilities like kitchen & room are very good maintened. We Feel like our second home while staying here. Very quite & calm place to leave in the Varanasi.

This little guest house is the perfect place to rest. You are not far from the centre but at the same time you can easily be quiet if you need to. The kitchen is really helpful if one day you feel like staying home and not bargain a meal outside! And the people from the house are really nice! You should definitely try this house. The only thing is that the rooms are a bit dark.

je viens à Varanasi depuis neuf années et il n'y avait pas de chambres disponibles dans la guest house où je résidais d'habitude...j'ai donc pris mes quartiers à la Khushi guest house où j'ai passé les mois de février et de mars...j'étais logée dans la chambre du bas, très propre , spatieuse et fraiche, avec une salle de bain avec eau chaude avec eau chaude à volonté...la cuisine mise à disposition à l'étage facilite le séjour et pouvoir bénéficier du frigo est très appréciable...Deepak est très serviable et arrangeant....j'espère que je pourrai disposer à nouveau d'une chambre dans cette guest l'an prochain

Ideally located near Assi Ghat, you will experience what it is to live among one of the nicest Indian family in town. I feel at home whenever I come You will find there people who are staying in Varanasi for several months studying hindi or music. The rooms are clean and there is a kitchen available. Deepak can organize boat trips on the Ganga (sunrise, sunset) but also multi-days trips between Allahabad and Varanasi which has been one of the best experience I had in India. You see dolphins, visit authentic villages, eat amazing food and sleep on sand dune islands in the middle of the Ganges.

Une nouvelle guest house ouverte depuis fevrier 2010. Au rdc vit la famille indienne et Monique, une institutrice francaise a la retraite, qui vit en Inde depuis 5 ans. Au premier etage, 4 chambres, spacieuses avec salle de bain. Vous y trouverez aussi une cuisine a disposition et une grande salle commune. Sur le toit terrasse, on peut y dormir lors des grosses chaleurs ou tout simplement etendre son linge. Une guest house simple et d'une proprete irreprochable pour les petits budgets. Possibilite egalement de manger sur place la cuisine de Parvati. De 200 a 400 roupies, c'est une tres bonne nouvelle adresse sur Varanasi proche de l'Assi ghat, de loin le plus calme et reposant des ghat de la ville.

Pleasant rooms, communal kitchen and dining area, good hot water and convenient location. Good value compared to what is around.
Sometimes a little noisy but overall a good place. Deepak the owner is great to deal with.

Very nice family. Deepak and his wife are very nice people. The guest house is very clean and calm. The kitchen is very clean and there is a fridge! so we really enjoyed cooking and staying there. The guest house is situated in Tulsi ghat. So you will find everything you need around the hostel. Deepak even helped me to find some volunteer work.

Very good and comfortable place keeping by the Hindu family. Clean home where we like to come back. Very recommended for everyone. The owner offer also boat sweaming in sunset or sunrise in very low prices.

My stay at this guesthouse was very good. Deepak and his family are very kind and helpful. You feel like you are a member of this family. The price are reasonable and each time I had a problem (electricity, housekeeping, iron...), a solution was found very quickly by Deepak or his wife Samjhana. I used the kitchen to cook and keep food in the fridge. If I go back to Banaras, I will definitively stay at this guesthouse. Thank you Deepak and Samjhana for your kindness and hospitality ! See you a next time hopefully !
