A beautiful boutique resort which encompasses the spirit of Kashi or Varanasi as it is now known. Very conveniently located mid-way between the airport and the Cantonment area, the resort is your oasis of peace and calm in an otherwise chaotic and over-crowded city. The large 18 Junior Suites with amazing art work look onto the Ganga Kund with it's temple. You also have an inviting swimming pool to catch the tan; a beautiful restaurant with stained glass and chandeliers serving the delicious Indian and Continental cuisine. So stay with us to experience the sights and sounds of Varanasi, along with the peace and quiet which your soul needs.

The Tree of Life Resort & Spa in Varanasi is often described as a tranquil oasis, with its serene atmosphere and authentic village charm. Guests appreciate the clean, spacious accommodations and the lush greenery that envelops the property. The service receives mixed reviews, ranging from commendations on staff friendliness to criticisms of occasional sluggishness.
While the remote location enhances the resort's peacefulness, it does lead to concerns about convenience and additional costs. Travelers also call for enhancements in room amenities and more consistent housekeeping, despite generally finding value in the property's offerings.

Detailed Reviews
As the title suggests, this cozy accommodation was an oasis away from chaotic Delhi. The room was comfortable, bathroom spotless, breakfast so tasty, and the men working at there are so sweet and hospitable. The highlight was honestly the staff. They were conversational and attentive at all times. Even at night when I asked for their help they dropped everything to help me. The place is also in a very safe and nice neighborhood with restaurants and a park nearby. The owner is also very helpful with planning and went out of his way to book our train tickets and other transportation. A very nice stay. The herbal shampoo was also a plus!

Tree of life Varanasi is located about 15 minutes away from the airport in a quiet rural location. It is approx 25/30 minutes away from the Varanassi main attractions.
The Hotel rooms are large, comfortable and with character whilst the restaurant serves a range of international and local dishes with the latter particularly recommended.
The hotel offers a variety of activities both free and available on request. The free village walk with the local priest is definitely worth doing. The village which also supplies many of the hotel staff is quiet, clean & relatively self sufficient and gives an opportunity to guests to get an excellent insight on village life
The Tree of Life has charm and style and is an ideal stop for those wishing something different from the more standard business hotel options....

Dear Guest, We are intentionally located where we are - a 30 minutes drive from the city and yet away from the noise and crowds - an oasis, as you have rightly put it. Thank you indeed for your kind words and we look forward to having you back with us, should travel bring you to Varanasi again. Stay well.

Beautiful room with a different concept. The resort from outside does not look grandeur. But from inside, it is wow. The lobby, the reception , the dining as well as the room inclusive of the bathroom is something which an Indian would be proud to boast of having such beautiful resort in our country. There is a Puja place wherein the local Goddess is offered Puja at 8.30 am and 5.30 pm by a pandit. I liked the personal touch of the resort to bid farewell whereby the pandit puts a tikka and binds a thread around the wrist offering some puja for a successful trip ahead. All in all a lovely resort.
I would also like to mention about the endeavour made to use less of plastic bottles as possible by resorting to providing mineral based drinking water instead of the commonly used plastic bottles. The do not disturb sign is a rudraksh garland which impressed me a lot.

Review of Tree Of Life -A 5 star resort in Beneras , India considered the most holiest Hindu city and also known as "Varanasi"
This resort is located off Mayawati Road, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh thats about 15 km from Varanasi Railway Station.
Presently it has 18 well appointed and very comfortable air-conditioned junior suites.
Its set amidst green garden and expansive green natural lawn with well paved drive ways. Must say we had express check-in and that aperitive Paan Sharbat added to our experience by Mr. Yuvraj.
Each junior suites comes with free WiFi and attached bathroom and confirms to all specification and parameters to meet five star rating .
The maintenance is par excellence and the entire staff in the resort were found very courteous.
The unique feature of staying in this resort is that it recharges one's inner self while nourishing their mind .
This compliments the spiritual energy of the main diety Kashi Viswanath in the ancient Shiva temple located on the banks of holy river Ganga that flows from the western Himalayas.
Any avid traveller in the world ,should in my view must make it a point to include Varanasi ,in their travel plans if they are interested to kindle and initiate their spiritual persuit of inner peace and joy ,as a spiritual seeker through inward travel.
Tree of Life provides the travellers to Baneras a very comfortable staying option .Their Resort Manager Pushpita Savant, herself a spiritually persona ,has evolved this beautiful resort.
It is beautifully set out amidst vast expanse of lush green meadows and trees that attracts birds including Peacock which is a pointer to abundant positive vibrations and energy of this resort.
I am sure every visitor , after a stay at this resort will go back a rejuvenated person doing nothing but relaxing in comfort of their suites while enjoying the culinary delights of their Executive Chef Gajadhar Singh Dhakrey ,who churns out delectable food of North Indian , italian and chinese cuisines , with able support of F&B Executive Aditya in serving us.
In conclusion , I must say that my four day stay at Tree Of Life have been so joyful and very full filling to mind , body and soul , thanks to very comfortable accommodation and great food .
Trust me friends ,your visit to Benaras and staying at Tree Of Life Resort in my view will be an experience extraordinary you will carry back and nurture in your mind for a very very long long time .

Although we had a positive first impression on arrival it turned out to be an unpleasant experience. The room had many flies, the pool was unclean, the electricity went out several times every hour, which made work online impossible, and it seemed the property needed a good cleaning (e.g. many visible finger prints on glass doors to common area, some food from in-room dining was left on the floor, room dusty, soiled furniture). The straw that broke the camels back was a wedding next door that lasted until almost 2 am with ear deafening music. There was nobody at the front desk when we called after 11 pm who could have intervened as there is a noise ordnance in place that prohibits loud noise after 10 pm. This was when we realized we needed to move somewhere else ASAP to escape this nightmare. So I am even willing to pay around US$ 400 for one night during this insane wedding season just to get out of this hotel.

Location: Remote and far to be called as resort.
Accomodation: The best room in Varanasi and I am quoting it after staying at Radisson, Amaya, Rivatas, Surya Palace etc etc.
Food: Delicious but severely over prized. Due to remote location it felt as arm twisting to pay such a premium for food served by and served at below average standard. Dining hall was a major turn off.
Breakfast spread was very limited and far to be called as standard. Carry your own breakfast, its not worth even offered for free.
Its best to dine in room which is cozy and huge. Best is when dining in room, one doesnt have to interact with poorly baptised staff.
Last but not the least, you can not put Shiva on cushion covers. I wonder who was that eminent interior designer to put Shiva on cushion covers. Kashi is for shiva and such mischief shows the lack of interest being taken by property managers in selecting the decor and overlooking the detailing.
All in all comfortable stay but hospitality was a big turn off.

Stayed here for three nights as we visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and other areas. Had an excellent stay here with good food and hospitality. Pradeep and Komal were fabulous at their service. A kid friendly place with good facilities for kids. My child was offered Maggie his fav 🤞 The bed and linen were comfortable and gave a good night sleep as we woke up fresh and rejuvenated in the morning. The place has positive vibes and has a calm atmosphere. An ecofriendly place that has birds and other nature in it. All Staff are very good and always ready to help.
Would like to stay here again in near future ❤️

Presently staying here for two nights..The resort is sprawling and green, Its been beautifully designed blending in the local archetecture.
Coming to the positives first all the staff members starting with Sanjiv at the front desk to the Housekeeping guys and the Chef and waiters like Dasmi and others are very nice. They go out of the way to cater to your needs. HOWEVER
IF you visit this holy city for the temple tour and to see surise and sun sets from the ghats then this is not the ideal choice ..WAYOUT of the city and the approach road is pretty obscure and a semi metalled one the last 800m
It stands in the middle of fields . and a small desolate village no shops nearby
Coming to the rooms they are huge and well maintained but
the bathrooms need proper upkeep and better quality towels.Another point they only keep their Own RO water but would prefer complimentary bottled water. As Indians I found it a little odd that all their bathrooms only have An Overhead shower A Hand held shower and a tap would be appreciated like other 5 star properties
The food is freshly cooked and of good quality it really feels like home cooked meals
Would like to come back and see a few improvements The USP of this resort is the smiling and helpful staff..keep it up.Special thanks to..you all

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about your current stay at the resort. It's wonderful to hear about the resort's sprawling and green design, blending beautifully with local architecture. I'm glad to know that the staff, from Sanjiv at the front desk to the housekeeping, chef, waiters like Dasmi, and others, have been very nice and accommodating. However, it seems there are a few areas where improvements could be made. The location, being far from the city and with an obscure approach road, might not suit those aiming for temple tours or specific views of sunrise and sunset from the ghats. Also, the surrounding area with a desolate village and no nearby shops might be inconvenient for some guests. Regarding the rooms, it's great that they're spacious and well-maintained, but there are some suggestions for improvement in the bathrooms, such as better upkeep, higher-quality towels, and the availability of complementary bottled water. Additionally, having a hand-held shower and tap alongside the overhead shower, as seen in other 5-star properties, could enhance guests' experiences. On a positive note, the freshly cooked food of good quality is a highlight and feels like home-cooked meals. The most standout aspect remains the friendly and helpful staff, which is a significant strength of the resort. Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback. Your insights provide an opportunity for the resort to consider improvements for an even better guest experience in the future. Warm regards, Priyanka Debnath Sarkar Marketing Manager

Loved our birthday trip to Tree of Life along with out golden retriever. It was a pleasure to find staff welcoming Hukum, the chef offering to boil eggs for him and the resort giving us a pet bed for the night. Waiter Gajanand ji was most affectionate.
The resort is classy, beautifully planned, surrounded by lawns and landscaped gardens, and they allow you to bring your pet to all places including the restaurant (if other diners have no objection). The complimentary breakfast was heavenly offering a vast choice from eggs and toast to alu paranthas to poha, served with fresh watermelon and orange juice. Loved our stay. Shall be coming back for sure.
Also would like to mention that since I had mentioned to booking manager Nikita at Gurgaon that we were on a bday celebration, we were pleasantly surprised to find balloons and flowers scattered in our room.
The resort is a little away from the ghats but since we did not plan to visit, it made no difference to us.
