The best thing about this hotel is the location - right at the Gowdhulia More on the newly constructed Ganga Corridor. It’s just walking distance away from Baba Viswanath Temple & Dashashwamedh Ghat. Other good things about the hotel are (I) friendly front office staff lead by Pande Ji & Sharma Ji who go out of their way to extend all possible helps to the boarders (II) excellent food of their Dawat Restaurant & their F&B Manager Mr. Shahbaz Khan gives his best for the Customer’s Delight - special mention of their F&B Captain Rajesh also needs to be made. (iii) very good housekeeping. We stayed in Room No 318 between 15th & 18th April - we are extremely satisfied by their services.
Hotel Ganges Grand is in the prime location of Banaras, amidst all the hustle and bustle of the town. The best part of this hotel is it's helpful staff. We reached early morning and they managed to give us a room to freshen up even when the hotel was sold out. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable. Tea was awesome and they have yummy and sufficient amount of buffet breakfast. Kashi Vishwanath temple, Dashashwamedh Ghat, Kaashi Chat bhandar and good shops for shopping are in walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Thanks for making my stay a memorable one.
Hotel was at prime location near ganga ghat and mandir.the staff was very polite and helpful .Hotel staff member named raunak was really helpful and polite .he was really proactive and made our trip smooth and happening .I would recommend higher mangement to give him appreciation on his hardwork and commitment in providing best service to thier customer . Thank you Raunak for providing high quality service..kudos to you !!
Traffic noice disturbed our sleep. Room Service after repeated request. It's expensive at the price that I got the room. Only +ve is location and I think the hotel is milking it. AND yes I didn't knew that the hotel also serves NON VEG food so I didn't try there restaurent.
Not good as per amenities, charges for parking, breakfast made force to commit, ambience not good, property situated in highly crowded place with lots of noice. Better option is to avoid place and try to search another property. Take care.
Stayed with family for 3 nights just recently. The stay in the Ganges Grand was quite pleasant. The rooms are clean and well appointed and serviced regularly. The location close to Kashi Vishwanath temple as well as Dashashwamedh ghat is the best thing about the hotel. The restaurant serves a basic buffet breakfast which is OK considering the price. The dinner spread (a la cartè) is better. The staff are nice but I felt the reception staff could have been more helpful by offering suggestions about transport and tourist activities. Since the location is very close to the centre of action, traffic is heavily regulated in the area and we had to walk about 500meters each time to get to our car. We had rooms with windows to the main road junction - the downside of which is the noise of incessant honking by the two wheelers running rampant in the city. If you'd rather have a quiet night's rest it'd be better to get rooms in the inner aisles. I wouldn't mind staying in the Ganges grand again. …
This was the second time staying at this hotel, I like the convince that is very near to temple👍 Hotel ambience is nice with very good staff service and restaurant was also good with complementary breakfast. Overall hotel was nice to stay with family friends.
Had a wonderful stay in the very kind hospitality of owner Mr. Ashutosh. Every room is uniquely designed and beautiful. The staff is very sweet and helpful and they don't say no for any requests. The food is very delicious. The best part is their terrace which is a breath-taking view. Also, it is perfectly situated in close proximity to all the main attractions of the city. Would recommend a stay here a 100%!
Very bad experience. AC wasn't working well, had to do multiple complaints to get it done. Staff indirectly tells you to take stairs and not lift. Very unprofessional. I was trying reception number from room for AC complaint and call was continuously getting disconnected. When I went in person I saw the manager has put aside the receiver and said he was busy in other call on his phone. They will ask you to upgrade if want early check in. We had 2 rooms, one was provided early after atleast 10-15 follow ups even though they had the room because the key was there all d time but they wanted us to upgrade our room and were indirectly pushing us for that. For second room they keep saying that they will let us know but that never happened. We had to follow up again and again and again and again for it. Finally after 4 hours they gave us our final room. Trust me guys they had d key all d time, I could see it on reception. Breakfast is equally bad. They will serve you 4-5 dishes which includes south indian, poori sabji and sweet dish. That's it. They staff there behave like Zombies with dead face expressions and looks like they are forced to be there. Food quality is pathetic and very less options. Just go out and enjoy street food, don't waste your hard-earned money there. Only thing good about this hotel is its location. It is at the best spot with connectivity to every corner of the city. Other than that it is over priced and a pathetic hotel. Don't spoil ur experience.…
The stay in Hotel Ganges Grand was very comfortable. Clean spacious rooms. A special mention needs to be made of the staff who were very hospitable. This hotel is at a walking distance to the Kashi Vishwanath temple and to the important Ghats and shopping area
