After my pathetic one night stay at Radisson varanasi, we shifted to this hotel. I have been well greeted by hotel. The reception lady was very nice and offered me a very good prices of 4 four rooms with complimentary b/f. We stayed for 2 nights on 18th & 19th dec. The room was very good and they have provided all the amenities. Hotel was taking care of covid compliance and they were sanitizing all the places where the guest movement. Every where they have placed the sanitiser. Even in room I found the sanitiser sachet. The quality of breakfast & and food was excellent. Mr. Mishra restaurant manager offered me 15% discount on food. The restaurant was very good and even in late night they have provided good food. Overall all staffs were humble, polite and ready to help all the time. It was my group tour of two family and enjoyed staying.

buffet dinner very accommodating to my food concerns; very well stocked bathroom, frig, coffee, tea and water supplies. room clean, bed comfortable; staff very accommodating. Received 4:45 a.m wake up call to make it to the Ganges River for the sunrise. Returned to hotel for good buffet lunch and relaxation before return to Ganges River for observing cremation services and devotional ceremony called Aarti along with thousands of Hindus on the shore.

In India there are two category of hotels, those owned / managed by international brands (and this includes Indian brands like the Taj, Oberoi etc) and those that are Indian. The second category, even if it may be 3/4/5 star are usually deplorable and i stay away from them. I could not find a room at the Taj Ganges so I ended up here. It turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Right from airport pickup to checkout, everything was almost perfect with just two exceptions. I had arrived early for checkin, but was given my room almost immediately and it was quite spacious with an equally spacious and modern bathroom that had a bath tub and separate shower. All the fittings and fixtures (which is where Indian hotels cut corners) were international quality. Food quality was very good in the only restaurant in the hotel and the staff there were always smiling and helpful. Over three days, they remembered all my preferences for sitting and food. The first exception was that the room and the restaurant were drafty with a chill. The temperature outside was in the teens and like all hotels in India (even the international ones), there is never any heating in the hotels. However, they were able to provide space heaters and that helped alleviate the problem. The second was the wifi. It was superfast by even international standards, however, one needed a new username / pw every 24 hrs for each device. This was quite inconvenient.
Hats off to management for a wonderful and pleasant experience.

My wife and I, along with some relatives, stayed in this hotel for five nights in mid-September 2019. We had booked three rooms. We actually stayed for just one night first, then checked out the next day to go to Gaya and then came back one day later and stayed on for four more nights. The rooms were clean and very well maintained.
Our stay in the hotel was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast spread was very good and the dinners we had at the hotel were very nice. The service we got from the dining room staff was excellent. In particular, I like to mention Brijesh Patel and Pradeep Maurya for their service and Chef Nithin Patnaik and Chef Pulin for their work in preparing all the dishes specifically to our liking and taste. Chefs Patnaik and Pulin also went to great lengths to arrange for packing breakfast items for everyone in our group when we had to leave very early in the morning on two days, the first when we checked out to go to Gaya for a day and the second when we had to go for a day trip to Prayagraj.
I also want to thank Manager Nithin Sachdeva for his courteous and friendly service and for kindly agreeing to hold much of our luggage in storage when we had to go away to Gaya for a one night stay there.
The hotel is located a short waking distance away from JHV mall which is very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Varanasli.

I have stayed at Radisson and Ramada previously in Varanasi, this time chose to stay ta Hotel Madin. It's a fairly newer property compared to the others, and is indeed really modern and poised significantly at the Cantt area. The rooms are really comfortable. They have exquisite bathrooms with rain shower, a Smart TV and all touch controlled lights and call bells. In room calling is available here. What I liked the most was the excellent food. Be it breakfast or in-room dining, everything was top-notch. For me, food has to be of a good standard and Madin was up to it. Another plus was the remarkable room service and steadfastness of the staff. They were all polite and forthcoming. It was highly pleasant stay.

I went in Jan 2020 with my wife and stayed in a super deluxe room. The room had a view of the TV Tower, which looked magnificent in the night when illuminated. The room upkeep, restaurant, travel desk & quality of service (both at the restaurant and through house keeping, were mind blowing. Right from the time of check-in till checking out after 4 days, everything was as smooth as a knife through butter ! The room was provided with all conceivable modern amenities and co-operation of staff which we received is highly appreciated.

Our room was very big and in the bathroom there was a scale to weigh yourself, an ironing board and iron. Everyone was friendly. The restaurant was decent but out of all the buffets that we ate in this was my least favorite. The service for wine was very slow, I guess they have to go somewhere else to get it.

I gave this hotel a 5 Star review a couple of years back but the dismal experience has made me change my review. The lady at reception is stoic and in my opinion not fit to deal with guests. Upon arrival the first thing I noticed that there's a skeletal staff running the hotel and they are not coordinated. I asked the front desk lady for a better room she bluntly refused. The luch took an hour to be served, the quality and quantity of the food was pathetic. The room was not clean and had hair and residue on the table. The toiletries, linen, bath linen is pretty disappointing. The breakfast buffet was one of the worst, the food looked stale and they barely paid attention to anyone. I asked for a cappuccino and I was informed that I had to pay for it separately. The food spread was very limited and staff waited for the food to get over before the refills. The house keeping staff took my tshirt and dress while changing the sheets and after much deliberation and follow up returned it the next day. Massage was below average. I was very disappointed. Won't be coming back.

Woken up in the middle of the night on two consecutive nights by workmen sanding the 6th floor where I was staying. After the first night our tour guide complained to management but to no avail! Very odd way to run a hotel! Electricity supply intermittent as generators tripped in after the mains electricity failed. My room only had a bath but apparently you can request wall mounted showers. Room air-conditioning was very poor.

Reasonable staff service Good dining food Room cleaning: Ensuite Floors grubby, very long hairs found on arrival and multiple long hairs after cleaning, toilet seat should be better cleaned in and out, it looked Hygiene is very vital, as a feedbacker of hotels I am strong believer of perfect Hygiene no matter what country to prevent cross infection. Air conditioning did not provide cold and conditions air, the room was still stuffy with all settings on High and Cool. Did not sleep well. I won't return.
