We booked 2 deluxe rooms for family with breakfast, visiting 1st time Varanasi to see Dev-Deepawali celebration. Hotel lacks basic facilities, TV cable not working as payment not done, no intercom wire broken and hanging, no Restaurant as cook didn't turned up, even bread not ordered, take it or leave it half cooked alu parotha done by cleaner forgot even salt, spread from top, no hot water. Truely pathetic worse than a Guest House !!
Well sanitised and hygienic property. taking all the covid precautions seriously. I felt very safe while i was staying there. They also have very good quality of food & satff is very polite & always there to help. The hotel is also situated near to famous places like assi ghat , vishwanath temple etc. I was very happy satisfies with their service and i really enjoyed my stay over there.
stayed in two rooms during my stay in Varanasi. The airconditioned room: Great experience: beautiful view. High quality accommodation and bed & very quiet room. The budget room: I would not recommend this to westen tourist; thanks for very nice. The staff is great, and can provide for everything you need during your stay in Varanasi. Creditcard payments accepted. The location is 4km from the city centre of Varanasi. Easy reachable in 15 minutes by tuktuk or Cab. For me it was actually great way of relaxing from the hectic visit to the city. Read less

Amazing stay with amazing hospitality and professionalism. I have to admit it was an amazing stay with this hotel. Loved the way people greet and welcomed me. Loved how they respected my privacy also the food was awesome.
Arriving at the hotel late at night, there was no warm water in the bathroom. The first thing I did was to take it up with Housekeeping and Management, but they refused to help. They just stuck to their practice of only switching geysers on between 6 and 8 in the morning. But even at 7 in the morning the water was still cold. So we stayed there for two days without having even 1 hot shower. The biggest frustration was the total lack of understanding of English. There was not one person in the hotel who could speak English. So to get anything was a battle - even breakfast was a problem since they did not understand us when we ordered. One morning I had to phone a friend in Mumbai and asked him to explain to them what we wanted. They also did not replace the water in our room and when we pointed it out, they tried to charge us for it. One evening we arrived at the hotel late and decided to have dinner there. We both had biryanis which amounted to roughly Rs 520, The waiter asked for cash and I paid him Rs 600. When he returned with the change I told him to keep it and he seemed pleased. When we checked out, they wanted me to pay for that particular dinner. When I told them that I paid cash they told me I that was lying and had to pay. I refused and we walked out with our bags. The manager then came running out and demanded Rs 1 200. I pointed out that we gave them a voucher which meant I paid in advance, but he kept on demanding money. Eventually he started shouting at me and used very bad language and pushed me so hard that I nearly fell down. At that moment my driver arrived and took over the conversation. A number of people also gathered around us which felt very threatening and I just got into the car. I lived in India for 7 years and I am well aware of what one should expect in Indian hotels, but this experience was way beyond anything we have ever encountered.…
I have only one thing to ask FabHotels chain.., do they really do a survey of the place which is getting billed in their name..bcos if that happened then this hotel would be striked off for sure. A Budget hotel in case u book directly and for personal use , but for corporate guests its not an ample location. Small , dim rooms , tired ( coating peeling off ) and patchy walls ,small gangway( a major safety concern). During checkin , 2 rooms were booked for myself and my colleague...but when the bill was made both the rooms were in my name. They said it cannot be edited . This is inspite of us giving clear instructions to the person in reception on having seperate checkins..to which he had nodded in affirmation. These simple things stay in a customers memory the next time he books...so the staff need to be careful. And last but not the least..feedback to FabHotels...pl inspect and routinely do a quality check for the hotels under you...its a disastrous proposition as people slowly would move away from the name Fab and look from the multiple options available. My earlier experiences with Fab had been good hence I will still continue , but another one and I am off. …
