Friendly and helpful staff always ready with a smile. Air con wasn't very effective and we only managed to get hot water the first night, but it has a nice view of Assighat and as a whole was a good hostel worth staying at.

Sorry for the delay! It scored "average" because it was not spotlessly clean but it certainly wasn't grimy, especially for India. The balcony room cost us 1300 INR I seem to remember, but that was without heating. Cost a few hundred more to have the heater. Hope that helps!
