The hotel is outside the city centre, but the sights of Lucknow are spread out so, wherever you stay, you will need transport. The hotel is next door to a small centre with a supermarket, a few restaurants and a cinema. We ate (from the a la carte menu) several times in the hotel’s L14 Restaurant, where the food/service were very good, as was the view. We also enjoyed our drinks at the pleasant ‘Coffee and Cakes’ counter in the hotel lobby. While staying at the Renaissance we also had two very good meals with live Indian music in the Oudhyana Restaurant at the Taj Mahal Hotel – a short walk from the Renaissance. Our room was nicely furnished. Many rooms, including the room we had booked, have a good view of Ambedkar Memorial Park; we were pleased to be upgraded to a higher floor, so the view was even better! The staff was very cooperative. Everything was arranged and managed well in time si such a short notice which was really impressive . Decoration was perfect as expected . We stayed at Lucknow Renaissance for 4 nights. I would highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel for your stay. Excellent team of people attending to all needs of customers. Faced some issues but it was wonderfully handled and sorted out by Akhilesh Kumar Singh. Food is just amazing and catered for all needs and well managed by Rubaida - what an amazing professional. SOUS Chef Soumesh Bhattacharya is amazing and such a helpful wonderful gentleman. Absolutely enjoyed our food experience. Both breakfast and dinner buffets have amazing variety of top class and tasty food. Only complaint is food was so delicious that we ended up overeating. Lastly we are most grateful to Akhilesh, Rubaida, Soumesh and Amit Jain (GM) for their most professional and helpful services that made our stay of 4 nights amazing.
