Been to this hotel umpteen number of time. The rooms sizes are very good. Working desk helps when you are on work trip. Gives you a feel of being at a higher starred hotel. The front desk is welcoming, always helpful with room choices. The hotel has flexible policies that are rationale, helps when you are a regular. The service in room is good but some staff are untrained,yet they are always polite. The food is the highlight, it is good, not grossly overpriced but not very reasonable. The breakfast menu is very very extensive and tastes very good. I am giving one less start only because the restaurant staff always messes up the order. The manager at restaurant, 'shukhanto' is awesome and covers up for all the negatives.He really appreciates what a customer wants and is reasonably accommodative, kudos for people like you to help your hotel gain goodwill. This is not the place to be as very unprofessional behaviour shown by restaurant staff. We went there for dinner as heard a lot but got disappointed as got wrong order and while pointing out, staff kept arguing. Which really made me upset and felt not going again. However quality of food was good. But behaviour of staff ruined entire experience. Management must look into this.
Well, it's a weird experience overall. All began smoothly. Smooth check in, decent room with latest amenities, well behaved bell desk. Ordered some food through in-room dining. They didn't have kids menu. On request they provided mashed potatoes for my toddler. I had Lucknowi dum mutton biryani and my husband had dimsum and pasta with red sauce. Taste was pretty good, we're satisfied. Later at dinner I shared clear children soup with my toddler and my husband had bhuna ghost masala with tandoori rotis. While having he once mentioned ghost may not be fresh, as the meat was hard. Trouble occurred midnight onwards. My husband started facing discomfort with multiple nausea. We waited till early morning. Then called front desk to provide doctor on call. Hassle began from here. The male staff didn't ask once why we're asking for doctor. He said he can't provide before 10am. Then I again requested for a cab to go to nearby hospital. He asked me to book a cab by my own and manage the situation. Then I had to put my foot down. I had to remind him that guest was sick due to their provided food and it's their responsibility to help the guest when it comes to medical emergency. I asked him to talk to his senior and help at earliest. Later he provided us car with a security staff who drove us to the Lohiya General Medical Hospital. Once we entered the emergency section saw many serious patients were waiting for doctor. My husband's health turned worse then with Google map help we reached another hospital lMS hospital and trauma center. The staff who accompanied us helped a lot. If he wouldn't be with us with a toddler it would be challenging for me. When we returned after half an hour there's no improvement, then had to call front office for Doctor on call. This time a lady assisted from the front desk and she helped perfectly. Doctor arrived in time and provided the best treatment. From morning till night we didn't order any food for my husband, the food we ordered only for me and my child. What was surprising the chef didn't bother to call, visit or enquire once how's the guest who became sick due his provided food. I reminded the same to room dining team but they simply didn't care. The only thing they did, they made my child's dinner complementary which we didn't ask for. Every time I ordered food I had to remind them to check the quality of food. In the breakfast when ordered boiled eggs from eggs to order section, they didn't provide any bread, brown potato and butter which were mentioned in the menu. Later had to remind the same. I tried their Galuti kebab and kakori kebab. Kakori Kebab was fresh comparatively to Galuti Kebab. We wanted to taste the authentic local food which we couldn't due to their food quality caused illness. Next day only the front office lady bothered to check on the health. But we leant a lesson not to return this hotel for future. Though we had to cause a lot of difficulty due to their room dining meal, we ended up giving them revenue by ordering through room dining. Management should train team on hygiene, hospitality and crisis management. We gave them three star only because of the security staff, front office lady and housekeeping team who were well behaved. Nice hotel and stay was comfortable specially food was good. We had stayed here twice and everything is good here. Bar is very nice and staff members are very supportives and helpful. Always ready to help you.
Overpriced and services are kind of headaches!! It was 2 days visit to Lucknow..one night at Radisson and One at Ranjees..price are same for hotels but due to some personal issues we have to stay at different places.. Now come to service part..Radisson’s staff and services are exemplary and in case of Ranjees it is totally vice versa.. They even charge for water bottles which they provide in room.. Called at front desk and they were like k kya puch lia.. And in Radisson they provide free bottles to your room as many as you want!!
I have been to Ranjee's twice and both the times felt the place like cave. It's dull & dark place. Service at restaurant area is good as waiters are humble but behaviour of F&B manager is bad. Earlier they used to serve food in rooms but now they stopped. Also if you ask for RO water, they come to your room and ask for empty bottle (WTF is this).
The hotel looks decent and we had very less expectations. The desk manager was very warm and entertained all our inquires in a professional manner. We saw the room before booking and were impressed by the size and cleanliness of the room. As I knew there was no chance to have lunch at work, I was hoping to have a good breakfast and I was mighty impressed with the quality. The service was good and overall it's a decent place to stay. This is my 3rd visit to this hotel. All stays are of of 2-3 days However in last visit I see some decline in overall. The property is really good. Food is excellent. House keeping has to be serious, otherwise this property will loose it's value. I have informed the issues with the reception and house keeping Hope to see some improvements during my next stay. Overall it's a good property. Fitness center is a must for these kind of hotel.
very poor wifi in this hotel and no support for this. also shown to IT guys for the issue. also they did not mention in their buffet that the food contain egg or not? i was visited in navrathi and they distroyed my fasting. Not recmended for budiness trip . they dont even consider how long you will stay there. i give him 1 star for their poor wifi and no support.
Had a wonderful time at the Sub Continent Restaurant at Ranjees.Lovely ambience, courteous staff and Delicious food especially Balti Ghost, Chapli Kebab and Qasar e pukhtan. Keep up the good work Team Ranjees.....
