Overall a very good and comfortable stay. Nice and cooperative staff right from darban to room service. Most important is Rajesh and Roshni are very keen and polite every time. Its one of the coldest and best 5 star property in lucknow. Will visit again and again for sure.

Clark’s Avadh is located in the heart of Lucknow with good connectivity to all parts of the capital city. The Hotel offers very well done up rooms which are either River facing (Gomti River) or Swimming Pool/City facing. This is one of the oldest 5 Star Hotels in Lucknow and I must say that they have preserved the Lucknow’s Tehzeeb (tradition) very well. Manned by extremely polite and professional staff, you feel at home. The restaurant offers a decent spread for meals. All places of interest in Lucknow can be reached within 5-20 minutes from this hotel..

Really enjoyed my time here - the complementary breakfast spread is significant and there's something for everyone in it. The hotel staff too are wonderful, very responsive and willing to help if you run into problems. Additionally the wifi worked well basically the whole time I was here (1 week) with just a few moments of downtime if the power went out, but it was always working again in less than 10 minutes. The location is not too bad either, you'll have to cross some busy streets to walk anywhere but there are plenty of restaurants within just a few minutes by foot and it's easy to get an Auto. Not the cheapest place to stay in Lucknow but well worth it.

Stayed their from 6th to 8th Nov 2020. Got the reservation done through makemytrip, the front desk was absolutely disinterested as it was confirmed reservation through makemytrip and whether u like or not you have no option to get refund. They will give u some shaddy room on 4th floor where you have to ask for everything like toiletries. Rooms are in rundown condition. The Bathroom shower glass door cannot stop water from flowing outside the cubicle style bathroom. The pricing of the rooms are also manipulated. Mskemytrip sold me that room for Rs 4500 per night, and published room rate and walk in rate was Rs 2300 inclusive of taxes and breakfast. So u feel u are pay excess of Rs 2200 , for the same room if you had not reserved the room. The hotel is mostly used for marriage in lawns. There are almost 8 five stars in Lucknow with new and modern amenties, hence i would recommend try them like marriot, hilton, taj, ramada, radisson etc. WE stayed for 2 night and we felt were staying in some run down old hotel. The front desk is rude, and simply no idea of hospitality.U get a feeling of Unwanted in their hotel. Clarks awadh which was the best 5 star in 1980, 1990s,and 2000, has detoriated drastically. Even its restaurants are run down now. Total waste of stay.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.Other than the location of the hotel,there is nothing great about this hotel and it most certainly doesn't deserve a 5 star status(in fact,it doesn't deserve a 1 star rating).
Let me start with the food first.I made a big mistake of purchasing the breakfast+lunch/dinner package with my stay.The quality of the food was extremely poor and the same food items were repeated every day-absolutely no variety at all.Moreover,a majority of the restaurant staff seemed to be unfit for their jobs-most of them were very rude and severely lacking in manners.I am unsure if the hotel even provides any training to their waiters/other support staff.
Now coming to the Covid precautionary measures,there was nothing like social distancing inside the hotel and most of the hotel staff didn't bother to take any Covid safety measures(I often saw several hotel employees roaming around without wearing face masks).The lifts were overcrowded most of the times,so much so that people touched each other while standing inside the lift.As most of the guests didn't wear face masks,we were always at the mercy of the God to save us from Corona infection.
The area around this hotel is highly polluted so there were a lot of mosquitoes.One night I asked for mosquito repellent,to which their support staff replied that there was no mosquito repellent in the hotel and they were unable to arrange for it.I could hardly sleep that night,bitten all over my body by the mosquitoes.Can anyone ever expect such treatment from a so called 5 star hotel?
As a whole,it was an extremely poor experience staying at this hotel and I would never like to visit this hotel again.

Rooms do not have safe, cupboard to store and hang clothes or furniture to put suitcases on and open. The check in counter has only 2 desks. Folks are polite. You can hear sounds from adjacent rooms and dogs and cars early in the morning and late at night. Breakfast is good but too many employees there do not do much and do not refill stuff promptly. The managers often are checking their phones and not supervising staff. Parking lot is too small. The bathroom has unnecessary extra step which may cause old folks to trip or slip. The electrical system in the room is too complicated.

I had stayed in Lucknow from 1975-88.
So this trip was very special for me. I had heard about Clarks Avadh but never got chance to visit.
The hotel is great. Staff very professional and courteous. It was mainly Mr Aniket in the Reception who helped us a lot - not just in giving the Best possible rooms and even changing it (as we wanted both views). He also helped us get the BEST POSSIBLE RATES.
The hotel is located at a Prime Hazratganj area.
Always great to have such a nice hotel with supporting staff amidst great location.
So this trip was very special for me. I had heard about Clarks Avadh but never got chance to visit.
