We are currently staying at this hotel. The location is great, 10 mins drive to downtown and 15 mins drive to the old city. The place is beautifully designed, We were greeted by Amiksha, the guest relations manager, who showed us around and gave us excellent tips for sightseeing and dining places downtown.
The rooms were big, although ours had a slight smell of damp, which did not vanish even after they tried spraying the air with an air freshener. Breakfast is not served before 7am, which might be an issue for early travelers, and we had to specially ask for extra towels and an additional bath robe.
However, this is really a sine experience, and a great place to stay in town,

I have stayed in this hotel after lockdown and it is my fantastic stay starting from entering the hotel the entire car was got sanitised then at poach thermal check up was done. Rooms were proper disinfected and even during the stay the room ad entire lobby restaurant get sanitised. The food and staff was really good and helpful. I would like to thanks Ms. Rashminder for telling me the entire process of disinfection as i was very much worried. Thanks to Prakash at coffee shop for taking care of my requirements. I will definitely come back again. Thanks Rashminder for making my stay memorable.

We stayed at Taj Lucknow for a Staycation for 1/2D and it was an amazing overall experience.
The hotel is adopting all possible safety and hygiene measures to prevent any kind of infections due to covid or otherwise. The food, cleanliness, room, amenities is all top notch.
The staff was amazing and went out of their way to make our stay special. We were given a complementary room upgrade as the rooms are mostly unoccupied these days. A special Thanks to Rashminder and Abhishek for taking good care of us during the stay and booking process.
While you stay there, do go for in-room dining and ask for recommendations from their amazing chef Akhtar. There's magic in his food and recommendations. We would definitely visit again just to have the amazing food.

After a long stay at home..it got extremely annoying for me so i planned a weekend staycation at Taj Mahal Lucknow with my husband. Why Taj? Coz i trust this brand the most in terms of cleanliness, top notch house keeping and at this time in life where hygiene is most important i had no other place in mind.
The welcome was wonderful. The guard at the porch sanatized our car, guided us to the parking area and at the time of entry we had our footware sanatized using a fancy machine, out temp was taken and hands were sanatized. Every staff or guest i saw was wearing a mask(covering the nose) . Front office staff was additionally wearing a face shield and were following all protocols of maintaining social distancing. My husband and i were so much at peace to see such great level of hygiene being practiced. Special Thanks to Ms. Jyoti from front desk for a beautiful hand written welcome note and for looking after us really well, along with Mr. Ashok from FnB for welcome eateries in the room. The rooms have been re done beautifully. Our room had a beautiful garden view. Loved the wallpaper and the lamps. A great combination of ancient and modern luxury. We had small sanatizer bottles in the room too along with other basic amenities. Taking a roll on the soft out of the world comfy bed after 6 months felt like heaven.

We stayed at the Taj Mahal Lucknow from 14th to 17th aug, 21. The hotel is located at the centre of the city so optimal for commute, and the staff is very very courteous and helpful.
We actually landed at the hotel on the same day as date of stay but Pankaj at the reception, helped procure a premium suite despite booking and other travel sites showing no availability.
Mazhar at the coffee shop during meals was super courteous and even packed us a quick meal when he realized we were on a road trip. Now let’s get to the areas that need improvement - the suite though spacious needs both Maintainence and a decor change. The tables by the sofa are wobbly and the bathroom feels archaic and small with the old fashioned tub stuck in the ground. Also suites ideally have a powder room and 2 basins which this one missed.
The other weird point was that the suite for dates a few days away from the dates we visited showed Lower tariff on booking.com. Now I do not know the reason for the same and could be owing to us making a last minute reservation.
All in all the stay was good but the rooms need an overhaul.

This was the first hotel we had stayed after Covid started and I have to say that it was a really pleasant stay. A special mention is needed of Mr. Akhtar from F&B, whom we can't than enough for taking such good care of us. The food was Simply Amazing!
We were travelling with our pet. The front desk came down to our room to do the check-in, which was a boon as we had driven 800 kms from Gurgaon to reach the hotel. They put us in a room adjacent to the rear garden, due to which, we did not need to take our dog out through the lobby area, which was a professional move by the hotel. They also put a small pet mattress and bowl stand, which was quite a nice gesture. Overall, we are really looking forward to staying there during our return journey with month.

We came to hotel on Saturday (5/09/2020) when my car entered the hotel first thing they do sanitization of car and check the car . After that when I step out from the car the hotel having fantastic machines of sanitization and all safety measures that are to be taken all the service and the staff was really good and provide all the things that I want . Rooms are cosy and beautifully done the food was superb the taste does justice to every penny you spent a big shout out for Mr. Arun , sharad , sudhir, MaZhar , archita for making our stay special and memorable over all excellent stay .

Wanted to visit a place away from the regular tourist cowd, decided on Lucknow and was told to stay at the Taj.
Right from the moment we checked in the experience was WOW.
A very warm welcome awaited us and Neelabh and his team ensured that we were made comfortable.
As per our request we were given a pool facing room in a quieter part of the hotel and a very friendly Shraddha guided us to our room.
The room was lovely and spacious with all modern amenities. During The 3 days we were there the housekeeping staff Anil ensured that it was well maintained and regularly sanitised.
The biggest surprise for us was the lovely gardens towards the back of the property. A public space its maintained by the hotel and allows the guests direct access to this lovely green space
Lucknow is known for its food and it was no surprise that the quality of food at the hotel both in the restaurants and during in room dining was excellent.
We had a memorable stay and we are definitely going back.

The stay was never less than a home. Especially during the crucial moment when the country was hit with second wave of COVID 19.
Everything was available way before time let be a midnight shift to hospital or the early morning ones, starting from warm breakfast to the rooms cleaning on time to laundry. The stress after shift would just fade with the hospitality provided. Mithlesh sir was the one behind things getting done.
Ayesha maam was behind the kitchen making sure the meal is appropriately healthy and tasty at the same time, it was tailor made for me.
Other staff who were of great help were
Rahul, Harshit, Arpita, Jyoti, Mariyam , Manisha, Sharad, Shubham, Gulshan, Anuj, Santram, Lalitesh , Bhanu, Yashikant

A warm arrival welcome with positive attitude of staff is always much appreciated when you walk into the grandeur of Taj lobbies. A beautiful and luxury property with such humble and caring staff. All were so real and have touched our hearts in all the way they could. Thank you Tushit Mariyam and Rashminder for making us super comfortable just as we entered hotel lobby. Mariyam was quick and courteous with check in formalities, Rashminder from guest relations assured her guidance and assistance if at all we ever needed that. My and my friends special thanks to front office team for looking after us so well.
