Donald Trump and his family were heading to agra for a high profile visit and I had to be for work in the town for work. The property is located perfectly. Moment ome gets off the Yamuma expressway from Delhi and enters agra. So a visitor doesn't need to enter the chaos of agra before reaching the hotel. Check in is quick and smooth. Post check in I was ushered to a suite which was absolutely perfect. A well appointed drawing room with extremely comfortable sofas, TV set with a guest washroom. The bed room is Large with a four poster bed. The study table chair, the lounging sofa and luggage rack are well thought out. The entire suite was squeaky clean. With nice sheer and dark curtains. The wash and bath area is the other high point. An automatic commode with heated seat which rises the moment one walks in is a touch of luxury. There are well demarcated shower and tub areas with plenty of towels and other necessities. Attention to detail is worth a note. There are not one but three bath mats for each activity. The toiletries are high quality and plenty. Everything works in the room- the plugs, the telephone TV and other elements
. The bed and linen were soft and clean. There was iron and a board plus personal locker. The Turko restaurant whips up great food. I tried both Indian mughlai and Chinese items and they were delicately delivered. The view from the large French windows was bright with open fields unlike many hotels in the city with congested lanes and roofs to stare at. Ita a perfect location as one can reach it without labouring through traffic and start the return journey back without struggling through clogged roads. The Taj Mahal and then agra fort and many other tourist attractions are 15-20 minutes away. Ita not a huge property and has a snug feel to it. Hotel general manager Lokesh and kamini in the front office are great help. The best thing about the property are the prices. Most hotels on the same road situated with chaotic entrances are over priced. Ramada agra prices are worth the stay

Stayed in Ramada in March 2019. I must say Ramada was the best choice. Just adjoining the highway, it is away from the city's crowded area. I booked room with breakfast and dinner. When i highlighted an issue with the mattress they were courteous enough to change the room in 10 mins. Special mention about the restaurant staff Rahul. He ensured that he does everything to ensure we are comfortable. My wife was expecting and without even asking he arranged fresh juice instead of canned juice during breakfast. These small gestures make the stay memorable.

My older sister and her family (husband and two kids) were visiting from Toronto. They were very interested to see Taj during this trip. So we (my parents and my sister's family) drove from Lucknow to Agra and stayed at Ramada Plaza. Main reasons to choose this hotel over others were online reviews, room rates in this category and that breakfast was included in the price. If the purpose of your trip is only to see Taj the hotel location is really good. It is right off the highway and so you dont have to deal with city traffic.

We were very happy with the rooms and cleanliness in general. Checkin was easy and they gave us extra beds in each room (the request got lost the first couple of times but when we spoke to front desk the beds were in our rooms in less than 5 mins. We are pretty calm with these small slip ups).

Because we were with family we needed extra supplies - water, soap, tea bags etc. Room service gave these to us pretty promptly.

One of the key highlights of our stay was the breakfast buffet. They have an amazing selection of food. From made to order omelette, croissants and fruit juices to dosa, idli and coffee.

Even though it is a self serve buffet the hotel staff is very helpful and quite willing to bring items to your table. Specially when they see families with grandparents and kids. Couple of names that stuck with us are Vipin Kumar and Ravi. Vipin was very nice and eager to make sure we have an amazing breakfast. Ravi was extremely helpful in giving us tips for visiting Taj. Really enjoyed meeting them both.

I stayed with family at Ramada Plaza. At time of entering the hotel they spray disinfectant on car tyres (which is good but I didn't understand the logic as I will not take the car to my room). The location is good right after exit from ring road Agra.

The hotel is struggling to survive during pandemic and has compromised a lot of things. The staff at reception was efficient and check in was smooth. Rooms were clean but there were many minor issues in rooms. The linens were not properly done and towels too were not fresh. Water in bathrooms too was not so hot. There were good amount of dust on sofas in front of lifts. But still I was satisfied with hotel considering the amount I paid during Covid.

The main issue was food and its quality. The dinner buffet was of limited choices and food was not at all tasty. The staff too was busy without any work. Similarly during breakfast buffet except the tea nothing was fresh and the choices too were very limited.

There were no Covid related precautions in Hotel. Though they have mentioned that they are sanitising the area regularly but I haven't seen anyone using sanitisation methods during check in. The staff members in dining area at lobby were not wearing masks (and gloves) and I think they have no idea about any Covid protocol. This should be improved.

We were a group of friends visiting this property for an overnight stay in September 2021.

Starting from New Delhi and well committed to our destination Agra after an arduous journey driving across the lengths of New Delhi to reach our first destination Vrindavan, we were in for a well deserved and a much needed good night’s rest, or at least we thought so.
Little did we know that the thought would meet a gloomy end no sooner than we checked into our rooms.

The first impression upon check in was that of a complete disbelief, in that the rooms as well as the washroom reeked of a multitude of unmissable stains, which not only were unpleasant to look at.. but also certainly a blot on the otherwise revered status of the Ramada chain of hotels, to the extent that we once even argued amongst ourselves as if to confirm if we’ve checked into the right place but lo and behold, it was as if a nightmare unfolding itself the more we were convinced of not only having checked into the right place but to be witness to the trauma of the thought of living in that space unfolding at Ramada Plaza !

I have, as the smallest of measures, decided to post the pictures from our stay as a reminder for the management to look into the matter which clearly needs to be addressed with far more sincerity for the brand in question.

To our relief, I would go on to add that the quality of food served that night after a long and a tiring day was the actual saviour, if not our condition at the end of the day having travelled almost half a thousand kilometres with a guaranteed good night’s sleep even if it wasn’t for the supposed revered hospitality we were to be treated to.

The breakfast buffet and the service were good but the thought of having to cough up an amount for just a cold coffee over and above the complimentary breakfast included within the package was absurd, that too at Ramada !

Request the management to try and inculcate better hygiene practices in everyday operations so as to really make one feel better convinced of having made the right booking choice for the brand you are at least.

Regards,
Vatsal Mehta

A Mesmerizing Place to Unwind

This hotel always provides me with a great experience every time I visit it. This is my innermost, distinct and divine feeling which I get by staying in this hotel which brings me so often to Agra. I have great fascination for this hotel because of the great ambiance, greenery, delectable food and warmth of the staff

What makes me feel truly at home while being out of home is Ramada at Agra; I experience a profound calmness while staying there; joyously and blissfully stepping out in the day for visiting and every time revisiting the great Taj and the Red Fort and also having leisure stroll at Fatehabad Road which is all day and night crowded with some tourists leaving and new ones pouring in. The staff at the hotel is very affable, which gives credence to the image of the brand, Ramada is known for; their uniform style of offering obeisance trough a ‘tilak’ on their foreheads to the guests makes them feel great and comfortable. Even a brief talk with them makes you feel the simplicity and innocence of their minds; they do things with love and personal care; whether it is room service, in-house dining or front office job; everybody is groomed for delivering the best. The food served was delectable. My special thanks and regards to the General Manager and the other staff members of the hotel for the way they coordinate and put in efforts to keep the whole team cheered up. Ramada remains to be my second home. Though I tried to contact Mr. LK Upadhya, the General Manager for personally articulating my appreciation for the great efforts put in by him but he was not accessible.

In the room I was pampered with all the luxorios things like In the bathroom I was provided with shampoo, lotion, conditioner a glecerin handmade soap ,a mini shaving kit& a brush with toothpaste. Amazing. As the weather in Agra was very cold I asked them to change the room temperature & they also provided me with a room heater which made my stay very comfortable & enjoyable .they had buffets for a special price of 699/ per meal. But due to my Travel around Agra specially to see the TAJ Mahal I did not try the buffet at the hotel.Love to visit this hotel again & again a special thanks to Sadhana ,Sachin, Sarita,Mr dhiraj the whole team of hotel Ramada plaza Agra.

Stayed in this hotel during a weekend trip to Agra with Friends. The best part about this hotel is the service. We were a big group and had ordered room service at night. They delivered all the food on time and were extremely helpful in cleaning up quickly. Hotel also has a good swimming pool, a gym and a kids corner. The only disappointment was the kids corner because the video games were not working. The food was also very good. The rooms were spacious and washrooms extremely neat. All of us were very satisfied with the stay. I am only taking out 1 star due to faulty equipment in the kids corner. The management should fix it asap.
