I stayed here as the first stop on the Golden Triangle tour, traveling with my daughter. We received a lovely welcome at the front door by the porters, who guided us to the 3rd floor reception to another warm and friendly welcome. The rooms were excellent with large walk-in showers. Arriving about 3.30pm we grabbed a beer, walked up to the rooftop bar and were rewarded with a splendid view of the Taj Mahal. We sat here for over an hour relaxing and watching the sun go down. A short 1/4 mile walk the following morning brought us to the electric carts taking us the the Taj Mahal. (Use them, 50 rupees). There is a breakfast menu to choose from, with an excellent choice for a family hotel. I would have no hesitation in recommending this family hotel.

We were looking for an authentic homestay where we could feel like we were really in India! Aman Homestay was wonderful! The family who runs it could not have been more welcoming. Mama made a homecooked supper which was shared by most of the guests around a big table. We loved our simple but delicious meal and met an array of fascinating people from around the world. The room was comfortable and the stay was memorable. Note that they are currently building a rooftop bar which is going to be fantastic. Highly recommended.

Amazing hotel with a warm welcoming atmosphere, perfect rooftop to relax in with a great view over the city and Taj Mahal. Room very recently decorated. Best part though is the family owning the place. They show nothing but great hospitality, the young siblings speak a very fine english and the mother is a splendid cook. Guests eat together at one lang table, wich is a great social expirience and makes it easy for solo travellers to get to know other travellers. I loved the food and the staff serving it. Would absolutely stay there again!

What a fabulous homestay run by a family! This place exceeded all expectations, clean, peaceful, large rooms, rooftop seating with views of the Taj Mahal and agra, everything was great! The home cooked food was delicious!! The family were so kind, lovely and full of information. They were great with our 9month old baby too. Nothing was too much to ask. If we could have we would have stayed for longer.

We visited in January 2024 . As two Trinidadians, Aman and Maataaji were very welcoming to us. The rims are comfortable clean, and the dinner and breakfast are very tasty. Maataaji and Amanji were very engaging in conversation and we shared many stories and reflections on the similarities of our culture. Recommended highly.

This is a really great family run boutique hotel! Such kind and helpful people! The food and ambiance is wonderful! Put your faith in Aman, he will connect you with great guides, in particular Mohammed Tariq who will make the love- story of Taj Mahal come alive for you! He also arranged for Tuk Tuk rides with Dinesh, who went above and beyond to make our 2 night stay filled with wonderful experiences!

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights. The room was on the smaller side but it was clean. There was plenty of hot water and the shower pressure was excellent. The TV also had Netflix! However, the best thing about the hotel was the staff. The reception was very helpful organising a drivers. There is communal dining which is lovely as you can meet other travellers. The kitchen looks spotless and it was interesting to watch the staff prepare the meals. All fresh and truly delicious. The dhal and paneer curry will live long in my memory. The hotel is across the road from at ATM and several cafes. It is a short walk to the Taj Eastern gate parking where you get driven to the main entrance of the Taj. I would recommend and would stay again.

First off, we received a warm welcome from the owner who quickly booked us into our room. The room itself is clean and comfortable with a large bed and well working, warm shower. The hotel owner will also help arrange transport to the train station and airport as well as tourist sites. We paid 750 rupees for a 5 hour Tuk Tuk tour which covered Taj Mahal, Baby Taj, Agra Fort and the Moon Garden which has unreal views of the Taj Mahal from across the river. The hotel serves breakfast and a traditional family dinner which we didn’t have but heard it was amazing from other guests. The roof has views of the Taj Mahal and they are impressive to be fair. My photo shows the size of the Taj Mahal from the roof. It’s a quite impressive view. Hotel is a walking distance to the Taj Mahal and there is also a Starbucks and Dominoes Pizza nearby should you fancy more western food. Overall, enjoyed the stay and would recommend to anyone. Worth the price and would definitely stay here again!

We were looking forward to staying with an Indian family rather than a faceless chain of hotels for which we could have been anywhere in the world. This was exactly what we got and the family were so friendly that we had many chats with them. Do stay here, you won't regret it. Also they have been making the hotel bigger and even nicer. Go to the rooftop for a good view of the Taj Mahal. Evening meal recommended as you get to meet other guests and the food is really good!
