About the place: + • price • location - close to west gate of Taj and market • fans • friendly staff - • not clean (dead flies on bed, some hair on blanket, spots of bedsheet, old opened Fanta bottle left) • problems with hot water (in our room hot was was at 4.30 am but no in the eve, at our friend’s room no hot water at all) • noise (you’ll hear everything outside at night - walking/ talking) Overall, for one night is nice 👍

It was my second time in Hotel Sidhartha. Still the same good value for money. Friendly staff, great location (just 5-minute walk from Taj Mahal), nice view from the rooftop, delicious and cheap food in the restaurant. Very attractive price for the room. There are small and modest rooms on the first flor, without air conditioning, which may be challenging during summer time. However, on the ground floor rooms are much bigger and better, incl. air conditioning.

Since it was a heritage trip to Agra, we decided to stay close to the Taj Mahal and Hotel Sidhartha was the best option. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Taj Mahal Western gate. A non-frills veg.hotel, but the piping hot breakfast after a tour to the Taj was just awesome. The owner Sidharth was most helpful. It's a budget hotel, and the bathroom needs a major overhaul. Overall a good stay

Travelling with a friend on our first visit to India, we were recommended to this hotel by a friend and can’t thank him enough. The street may not be the prettiest, however, the location for visiting the central sights, for example the Palace and the market...a must to visit....and the local restaurants and shops is ideal. The rooms were spacious, and although very central, the traffic noises were minimal The staff were so very lovely and helpful. Each morning they asked where we were going, did we need any help and they recommended three restaurants...each better than the next. The lady in charge, whose name escapes me...possibly Amir....was charming, efficient and helpful. Would definitely recommend

We booked this hotel last minute, as our original booking at the Ayu Rigel, cancelled our reservation less than 24-hours before our stay as they claimed to be overbooked (we booked the Ayu months ago!). So, to the siddarthur hotel... excellent points as follows; (there are only excellent points!) Fabulous welcome/greeting on arrival. Incredible location, yards from the Taj Mahal and a short tuktuk to the Agra Fort. We was given a choice of rooms, all better than expected. Fantastic food in the on-site restaurant. Recommend the hot/sour soup. Garlic naan and the aloo ghobi. Friendly helpful staff, putting chairs in the garden so we could enjoy a couple of beers (purchased from the Beer Shop close by) We booked our onward travel to Jaipur while here with ease. The owner/Manager arranged all this for us, without pushing us to book anything more than we wanted, which is vary rare here! everything was booked at our request and exactly what we wanted. No fuss! Overall, a great find. Genuinely glad our original hotel cancelled our booking. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

We arrived very late, after mindnight at the hotel. They still kept it open for us. We only stayed one night, but we were served best possible in Agra. I warmly recommended it to travellers! It is really 5 minutes from Taj Mahal, so it is easy together at sunrise

I have booked hotel while I was in train from Delhi to Agra. I was very doubtful mind about my stay as I was with my family. But I was surprised to see it. Taj Mahal is just 5 min walking from hotel. We have booked Standard fan Room which was very clean. It was great deal in the given price. Food was also very nice in reasonable low rate. Behavior of the staff is also good. Though there is no phone in the room..we have been provided a mobile number through which we have order some small things so that was not a problem at all. What you want Taj at 5 min walk, good and clean rooms and amazing food at lowest price. Dont go with the outer interior awesome things are waiting inside. Wonderful stay I must say....
