After seeing 2 terrible hotels in Agra, we were recommended this one.
Room was comfortable, no heating but they did give us a fan heater.
Bed was comfortable, service was very fast and the location seemed questionable, but safe
The only concern was the temple just outside the bedroom window had very load music with drums. It did not bother us as we needed to be out and about early.

Nice hotel not that far away from the Taj Mahal. Had a room for 3 persons. Room itself was alright. The third person got a spare bed next to the big one which was not really comfy. Next to the hotel is sort of a temple and there's been loud music and singing the whole night.

Service itself was alright and food in the rooftop restaurant on the bottom (!) floor tasted good.

Theres been a little swimming pool as well but as it's been not that hot we didn't use it. And its directly infront of the restaurant so all the people could watch you while swimming...

This hotel is well appointed and comfortable. Our two rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff are engaging and helpful. The food was basic but fine. The driver and guide they arranged to take us and show us round the Taj Mahal were first rate. Being January, the unheated swimming was out of commission, but we were able to watch the New Year firework display at a nearby big hotel from the rooftop, which was also a good place to relax after a day of sightseeing. There wasn’t a rooftop café though.
In essence, this mid-range accommodation proved to be good value for money.

Very bad experience.
I should have booked through Mmt or other platform. I checked online and called hotel. Some Mr. Verma assured me 2 extra mattress @ 3800 inc bf. As I didnt want kids to sleep in separate room, so i fell for his words and confirmed booking..
Hotel was easy to find right at the back of Grand Mercure.
Checkin was ok.. Room was shockingly smaller that i vould have imagined. I was told i am given a vlassic room! What a pity.. Vlassic room means front view with an abandoned green area in sight and an obnoxious UP electricity board Transformer. ( i guess this is certainly better than No view toom )
Room was cramped... No space for extra bed.. After removing coffee table, one ply bed with 4 inch foam matreas was adjusted.
Bathroom has some perpetual stinking problem.
Worst part.. When I asked for 1 small bottle of water (kinley 500 ml) they said its chargable!! Just imagine the hospitality! A room that is not worth 2000. I paid 3800 andI can not get one 500 ml bottle water!???
Salute to the dacoity!
Worst part.. Breakfast.. Lousy staff. Diluted mango juice was put in the jar, Baasi Tea ( stale readymade tea ) which probably was made 1-2 hours back was re- heated again n again to beserved on buffet.
Plz see images
If you get classic for 1700-1900.maybe its ok.. Otherwise stay away... There are tons of great option neat Tajmahal.

I recommended my family to book this hotel, now I regret it . Hotel looks fine on website thatswhy I booked it. I got impressed because of swimming pool. It's a joke on the name of swimming pool. It's like a bathing tub in basement of hotel in front of there restraunt .
Worst part there bad staff especially reception guys very bad manner and greedy. He asked 2000l-rs for agra station dropping which we thought is bit expensive. After checking out side we booked it for 500rs. Just because we booked it from outside he completely changed his behaviour. He was very rude to us. Even with my mom he was taking rude.
Stay away from this hotel at any cost.

Very big Noooooooo to this disgusting hotel.
First of all hotel is situated in very bad location at night street which leads to the hotel feel very scary. Not safe for family or couples at all.
Behaviour of Manager ( Deepak )was very rude at night it seems he was drunk.
Room was ok just like any other budget hotel. I will recommend there are many better option available on main road near to this place in better price also.
I am giving 1 star as there is no option but I actually wanted to give -1 star to this hotel.

The photos are very misleading, our room had the same furniture but it was very old/worn, the bed sheets were stained, window blinds didn’t fit the window and were ripped, the windows had gaps and let in a draft, we were really cold and given a heater by hotel staff but didn’t help much and had to sleep in our clothes freezing cold. The loo rolls that were left in our room looked damp and were dirty. The bathroom smelt of urine. There was a lot of stagnant water surrounding the hotel/area and a-lot of mosquitoes. Room not clean. We booked four nights but checked out after one night.

Beds were comfy with a nice duvet, everywhere very clean, working air-con, fridge. Good location too. Only downside is our room didn’t have a window so felt slightly boxed in. Staff were lovely too and accommodating. Breakfast very basic.

Is there 24x7 hot water?
Answer from Assaf T

Peace. I can tell you that in the evening and in the morning there was water at a hot temperature even too hot, (this can be regulated) with a good current. All day I can not comment I have not been in the room for a long time ... (there was no sign indicating when the water heater is running - as I have seen elsewhere in the world that there is no 24/7)

My tour operator paid between 25-30 USD and I am sure - price for locals will be lower. As there were during our stay there beside us just some young travelers from spain and all others from india - sure, locals should be allowed;-).

Please call the hotel from delhi itself dont wait till u reach - if they are over booked which they usually are if its a weekend or holiday time. The staff wont entertain you confirm it way before so that you can book some place else. Incase you have made pre-payment then you have to visit them, they will try to ignore returning your money but eventually will. Have a nice trip.
