This hotel is almost like 100 year old but once you will enter in room you can feel that how much they have maintain it. Room is huge with huge tv and huge bathroom. Bathroom can give you feel of royal homes. Good size of garden area ans swimming pool there. Staff is also very nice.

The imposing colonial structure of the bygone era at the heart of the city provides a very comfortable stay option. Right on MG Road, yet inside the building there is absolute peace and serenity. The marble inlaid floors, fourposter beds, a little dilapidated but antique wooden furniture, all exude an old world charm that calms your travel-weary mind instantly. The old structure means the rooms are quite cool even when outside it's Agra summer. Loved the courtyard garden, the small but clean swimming pool complete with a Mughal-looking gazebo. Special mention: the staff were very courteous, service quite prompt, dinner delicious. Negative: the floors are quite sticky, they can definitely be cleaned thoroughly more often.

I have never expected a 4 star category hotel provide such a low standard service, starting from check in, our checkin delayed by 1.5 hours, we find hotel in such a mess, which is can not be described, what is the meaning of check in time,if you are not keeping room ready, requested for twin bed, which is not provided, for hot water we have to request all the time, this is really strange that there is no hot running water in washroom in winter time, towels are not in usable condition, very old, faded and smelling bad, whole the hotel run by 4 staff only, just imagine how inefficient the whole thing was, in breakfast there was very few items, a single star hotel serve more better breakfast. Whole the hotel need a urgent makeover and renovation, a 110 year old heritage hotel which once had guests like Jinnah, Nehru, and many dignitaries from all over world is in very bad shape due to inefficient staff who not at all customer centric.

Except the reception guy I felt that stuffs are not well trained. We were sitting on pool side having drinks, every time we had to go and ask someone to bring things which we wanted. Taste of food was good. Beers were not cold even we had to ask them to keep it in freezer. Room gives you feel of 18th century, which is nice. We booked a large bed but what we got was twin beds combined together which was very uncomfortable and the mattresses were spring mattress very uncomfortable to sleep. In the morning buffet breakfast was like some 2 star hotels . No cornflakes , no coffee machine for good coffee, no muffin or any kind of bakery item except white bread, no fresh juice . I was very disappointed. I don’t recommend this hotel to the people who are looking for luxury. I am from tourism industry, I know what I am writing so take it seriously.
