Take a moment to ignore all of the fake pictures posted about this hotel. When arrived 1st impression was the stink of cigarettes in the room, 2nd the sheets had mysterious stains, hair and dirty grey greasy unwashed pillows (we asked to change rooms), 3rd the bathrooms are like sewers. Later in the night about 20 guests and hotel staff loitering in the hall smoking, blaring music and constant chatting and shouting. Some rooms rented by the hour giving us the indication it is also used for call girls. Even the curtains had disgusting huge white stains. Filthy laundry in the hall on arrival, literal rubbish left lying decaying in the halls like an old washed up canal. Save yourself, and don't book here. Shame on you Oyo for this standard, heres an Idea, learn the basics. AVOID.

awful. awful. awful. awful. worst hotel I've been to. a lot of men and young girls coming and going through the night. Room changes almost hourly. filthy hotel. white stains on the curtains. constant smoking in all of the rooms and the people running the hotel here are not hotel staff. there is something not quite right here. very possibly a place for prostitutes to meet older men organised by the hotel staff. apart from this the place was noisy, filthy and disgusting. Rang the reception to stop the noise - manager hung up on me. this place should be shut down. Please, do NOT stay here.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Agra. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, ( Mr.Deepak )our names were mentioned on the board and we were upgraded to the Idea Inn Suite. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor Deepak deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. I truly enjoyed walking the three of us through the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a reliable me. Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so again thank( Deepak Sharan ) that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager (Deepak sharan)who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

Only giving this one star because you can’t give zero. The hotel was dirty and dingy , our room had no window. I can’t comment on the food because nobody in my tour group risked eating there. Absolutely nothing to commend it. Avoid.

Stayed here unfortunately for 1 night with my husband and 2 young children. From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely arrogant & pushy. They demanded passports before greeting us, even though our guide explained they were in our cases and I would bring them down. We were eventually shown to our room, even though there were about 4-5 employees lazing on the couch. The lady behind the desk was not friendly. Arrived in or room, walking past stinking, dirty buckets of water and towels. Our first room was clean. Asked for an extra bed for our son, as this was already prearranged prior. Told they were too busy, but when I went downstairs with my passport they were sitting on the couch laughing and talking. My husband rang down and eventually it came up. Then a wedding party next door started and it was the loudest thing we have ever heard in a hotel. We asked to move. We were shown to a dive of a room with actual black mould dripping off the roof and the smell was revolting. Asked to move rooms and they replied with “ we will spray your room with perfume”. We said no and asked the boss to come and smell for himself, to which he admitted the room was stinking. Eventually shown a 3rd room, which was ok, except the sheets and towels were damp and stank. At night the wedding party returned from the wedding and the music and yelling all night kept us awake. When we spoke to the lady behind the desk she smiled and shrugged us off. Breakfast was an absolute joke and when the man eventually got up from his mattress behind the counter, he got our order wrong. Boiled eggs took 40 minutes and we were late to see the Taj Mahal. Absolute disgrace, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

I've traveled to many countries and - without a doubt - staying at Idea Inn was the worst experience I've ever had. I checked in at the hotel and went out for dinner. When I went back to the hotel, the receptionist didn't allow me to go into my room. They said the payment hadn't gone through so I could not get in the room. It was pathetic because I had already checked in. While I was contacting the travel agency in Brazil, two members of the hotel staff were right next to me, watching my steps, treating me like a criminal. I went through hell in this horrible hotel. After a while, my agent told everything was fine, they had already contacted the hotel manager to confirm the payment, but the staff just ignored me. They gave me such a hard time and turned my dream of visiting Agra into a nightmare! Breakfast was bad and I couldn't sleep because there was too much noise going on all night long. Please stay away from this hotel!
