Really excellent, would definitely recommend and return if in Agra. We stayed for 1 night with friends when visiting the Taj Mahal. Very accommodating of late check in and arranged food, super friendly, offered helpful tips. The rooms are clean and cool, chilled vibes in the courtyard and importantly walking distance to Taj Mahal.
We have been truly amazed to see the Coraltree Home stay! Lots of greenery, natural ambience made the place as close to the nature as possible. It was a wonderful stay there and had a great time!! We enjoyed the home cooked food very much. Thank you for being such a nice host !! —Sandeep Kabra & family
Excellent place to stay. The whole homestay has a whimsical vibe about it due to careful decoration and gardening, with multiple splendid lounging options. The location is great right by the Taj, it has all the desired amenities, and most importantly the team there, led by Mohan, was excellent. He and the team went above and beyond to make our stay superb. The included breakfast and delicious optional dinner are a plus. I’d highly recommend and will stay again when I return.
The best part about the property is the Location!!! Location - this is the best part of the property - walking distance from the Taj - however some of the tips given to us could have been better. Getting to and from this property (if you are in a self-drive car) could be a real pain. Once we reached there - they told us you should called us (I would have appreciated a small message being sent with the location - would have saved us a lot of pain) - so suggest you call them if you are in a self-drive car Service - this is the best part - Manoj was awesome and helped us with anything Rooms - the rooms are good - slightly over the top for me - but am sure people may like it We had dinner the first night - it was expensive for the quality of the food (though it served hot) - (INR 400 or 500 per person) but we paid a similar amount in a very nice hotel near-buy with better food There not too much to do around the hotel (the surrounding is quite conjested and there is nothing to even see outside) Not too sure but I dont think I would choose this hotel…
The Coral house homestay Agra It’s an excellent property rather a hidden gem in the heart of agra city walking distance from the majestic Taj. Loved every bit of the place our stay ambience hygiene the staff and food. It’s very tastefully done up keeping in mind the requirements of a traveller. It’s full of colours vibrant and lot of greenery around. Very well maintained. They have an excellent cook, a caretaker who took great care of our group. Surely will go back whenever we visit agra again. It is a home away from home beautifully and colourfully decorated. Great place to stay with friends or family. Their caretaker Rashid goes out of the way to help. Since we had the whole place to ourselves we had food of our choice.
I stayed for one night as a solo female traveller after a friend recommended me, and this was absolutely the best homestay in India! The house is bright and homey, and the hosts are very welcoming and helpful. I wish I had stayed longer in Agra just to enjoy this property more! It is also in very easy walking distance to Taj Mahal.
A homestay is the kind of place that you wanna live in, but don't wanna take the trouble of maintaining ... This property is a very comfortable & delightful place, it's a homestay with all the facilities of a hotel, & a lot of coziness, quirkiness, real plants, warm, hot colours, sit-outs, swings, books ... It's a place you can have all-nighters with friends, & at the same time also a place where you can lose yourself in solitude. It is incredibly near the Taj Mahal, it's walking distance, in the sense that it is inside an area where you anyway aren't allowed with your own vehicle, you either have to walk or take a electronic golf-cart to the Taj mahal. (Consequentluy, it is also in walking distance ofthe Urban plantation walking train of Agra) Food is good, homey, & there are timings for the meals. But it's not necessary to eat in-house. The place is full of photo-opportunities for both the young & young-at-heart, & kids. The bathrooms, though small are fully equipped, & they're actually a lesson in space-economic design! The rooms are cosy, with extra quilt & a blower for winters. Very bright colours might not be to the taste of all, but were very much to my taste, & I loved being there. It's definitely value for money.…
Absolutely loved our family stay at this guest house. The place is beautiful, the owners are super friendly and helpful and the Indian vegetarian food on offer for breakfast and dinner was amazing. The property is walking distance from the Taj Mahal. My 9 year old daughter and ourselves wanted to stay for longer than the 2 nights we had booked. Very tempted to go back for a cookery course!
We spent one night in this Homestay and it was a great place to stay! Rooms are new, nicely decorated and with everything you need. Breakfast in the morning was home made and fresh. Highly recommended!
Great eclectic homestay with lovely garden. The staff were very hospitable. The food was amazing. Enjoyed sitting around the fire with a drink, chatting to other travellers & swapping stories & tips. The owner was a great host with many interesting stories. Lost a point to hot water issues.
