King's Cliff is from the same group, Little Earth that runs the Sherlock property in Ooty. We got a cottage accommodation in front of the lawn. It offered a brilliant view of Ooty when you sit in the verandah area. The glass house breakfast area is lovely. Though I thought breakfast at Sherlock was better. I loved going in cold...

King's Cliff gave us a home-away-from-home experience. Had a lovely evening with my family. The restaurant is very cozy, comfortable and clean. We all love the food there. Very friendly service, the chefs also baked a yummy cake for my birthday. That was a lovely gesture. Thank you King's Cliff. Will be back again soon :)

Wow what a beautiful and fascinating place. Originally built by a Scottish officer 150 years ago. They have kept it as original as they can. Infact the furniture in the sitting room is on a photograph dating back 100 years ago. The only heating is by open fires so ensure you have warm clothes. Our room had a fireplace and...

So the place is beautiful , reminds me of all the British cottages and Managers bungalows in Munnar ......... but it may have been a bad day for them and definitely us . They were swamped so the staff was not friendly , served our food after almost 60 minutes . I had the roast lamb which was served without...

I have been going to kings cliff ever since 2004. The place is an old heritage British house divided into cozy rooms. And with a fireplace. Trust me you don't want to miss the hotel rooms if your on ooty. And sit and enjoy your private fire place at night. The food at this property is always been top rated...

Fantastic stay and food. Very cordial stuff. And very good location for the stay in Ooty. From the hotel lawn, there is an unobstructed view of the city of Ooty. The rooms are well maintained with working fire-places, though a bit small in size. The breakfast spread is very good.

As you drive through the gates a manicured lawn and colonial mansion house greet you. It's a great first impression. Enter the double doors to be warmly greeted by the front of house team. An easy check in and you are taken to the room where you baggage is. Choose refreshments from the kiosk outside, sit in the glorious sunshine...

A little way out of town but well worth it for the peace and tranquility. A lovely old place with friendly, obliging staff, live music in the evenings and good food. Fires each night in the public rooms and in the bedrooms. Would definitely recommend it if you want a peaceful stay with a touch of the Raj atmosphere.
