We visited Ooty during Christmas holidays and was initially at a different hotel and came here only for breakfast. The food was awesome and the staff was so professional and clean that I decided to change my hotel and move here. By the way, breakfast buffet is open for outsiders aswell for a reasonable charge; and the lunch and dinner at ala-carte model. I believe they consider it a separate restaurant as other big hotels usually do. This hotel had availability only for 1 day due to holiday season and I had booked it for that day. We were given 604 in a villa and the room was warm and comfortable despite cold and beautiful weather outside. Spotless clean hotel and the rooms, Clean and tidy beds, well maintained and attentive staff, I believe they have it all they could offer, can compare to what we get in 4 star hotels for such a pocket-friendly price. That reminds me, I hate it when the price difference between regular days and peak days is a fortune. But this hotel has only 300 difference. Normally it is available for 2500 but during peak hours they charge 2800 (they have their own website). I paid 2800 with a smile. One thing you need to know that hotel location is around 4 kms away from city so you get to see nice natural landscape but you have to drive to city for site-seeing. I STRONGLY ADVISE you plan for around a week and drive to Ooty in your personal car or take a self-drive from Coimbatore or close-by city. OLA and Uber won’t operate here and local taxi people charge a fortune for site seeing. And they don’t cover all tourist spots. I usually self-drive but decided to take a taxi this time, which turned out to be an unpleasant experience. I was very disappointed as I missed pine garden, the valley safari and what not. Have to plan and visit again. :)…
We were about 8 people as a family and booked 4 rooms via OYO which was quite good and value for money (They offered 50% discount). Since we booked 4 rooms they offered us cottage type house which includes 4 rooms and 1 hall. It was great for family/friends entertainment. The rooms were spacious and neat. Especially the wash room was clean and nice. Staffs were friendly and the service they provided was excellent. Restaurant food was good but the options were minimal. The parking space also good and enough space. Only thing is that, the hotel is located 4 kms away from the main town. If you travel by your own vehicle then I would suggest this would be a decent, great and budget place to stay.
This is my second visit to Ooty and I choose this hotel due to my last experience and the decision not disappointed me. Hotel well maintained neat and clean rooms. A small garden and play area for kids ok. Staff are polite and helpful. Quick response when call. They have own travel desk, they drop and pick up on call which is good. One disappointing thing is resutrent is not upto mark. I'm not satisfied with restaurant. Need to improve a lot. Over all a happy stay.
the room was spacious and clean. no heating but the blankets were warm enough. staff is super friendly and helpful. Most tourist where from India, but the really did their utmost to give us, western guests, good and friendly service. All we wanted was arranged and for a fair price.
We stayed for 3 nights (me and wife, with toddler and infant) , it's really good and worth for the money we paid. Check in and check out was very smooth. Staff behaviour is kind and courteous. Along with the stay, we had complimentary breakfast. On all 3 days, breakfast is good and yummy. Also we had dinner in the hotel itself, it's also nice. About the room - it was very clean, well maintained. Rest rooms are clean. Initially hot water was not coming but after informing the reception, its not at all problem. The room looks as mentioned in the pic shared by the Hotel. the room has TV, WiFi facility, cupboards, 2 sofas. All good. Overall hotel infra is good and good view on the backside but located few km away from the main ooty so no nearyby shops. Since it's far away, we couldn't go out for a walk much in the evening. Anything needed, we need to avail from the Hotel itself. Very small Play area is available for kids, with small garden nearby it.but its good. Whatever has been promised for the amount we paid, it was available and provided. Good in that. But always there is a room for improvement. Few suggestion - this is what customer expect but won't say 1. Our bus reached late by atleast 2-3hrs, so we reached hotel after 10.30am. We with 2 kids (toddler and infant) were damn hungry, as we didn't eat anything since its a hill journey. By the time we reach there was no breakfast available. That's what every other hotel would say, BREAKFAST OVER. But what makes them different or set apart is how they go one step ahead and do something for the customer even if it's chargeable basis. 2. Also every parent will be happy if you go one step ahead and include food in ur menu exclusively for kids or atleast on ordering basis. Because most of the items in the menu cannot be given to kids. we ordered mostly chappathi for kids. that too on the 3rd both my wife and toddler vomited the next day. Today customer is ready to pay for the extra service. E. G. Like calling up customer a day before and understanding how many ppl, kids, or are there any elders above 50 . Any arrangement in particular you want? Or what food style preferred. If it's difficult to call each customer, you can have a survey the moment customer books it.. whether they want breakfast, something like that. This is what makes customer delight and happy to come back again. 3. you could provide cycle/bike on chargeable basis with deposit amount. as no shops were nearby , also its difficult to walk long to go out and get something.…
