Dating back to 1855, Lymond House is the epitome of a bygone colonial era, the perfect getaway, set among a vista of flowering trees and sprawling lawns. This heritage hotel comprises two Victorian drawing rooms with fireplaces, ideal for cosy evenings in. It has three ensuite double rooms and three garden suites, replete with antique beds, dressers, creaking floorboards and fireplaces. One can soak in the atmosphere that has been lovingly preserved for over 150 years. Sitting in the Victorian drawing room, keeping warm by the fire, one can easily imagine the then lady of the house, Mrs Dason, at the piano in her crinoline evening gown, playing the haunting melodies of those far from home. Tariffs - starting at Rs. 4500/ - for a couple inclusive of breakfast .

Service was good, thanx to Mr. Philip, Mr. Ajay & Mr. Narender. Food is good, location is good, old resort. However they make sure you are well informed about the prices and discounts. Communication is by E- mails only, informing the staff about your travel plans won’t help. Every one wants to make money, but they appear like they are desperate.

Stayed at lymond house for 4 days. It was the best vacation ever. This place is so well preserved, could not believe the house was 170 years old. The staff is just amazing and makes you feel so much at home. The property has an old section and a new one, each with 3 bedrooms. We stayed at the old section.
