I am posting this review after my 10th visit to this Jungle Resort '' Secret Valley Jungle Resort''. I have been to many jungle resort and observed cutting trees to extend customer's accommodation. But, Mr. Ganesh - "The MASTER'' who drives the resort did not do that. He is keen on nature not to be disturbed. Mr. Vishagan - ''Roving Naturist'' being a senior CHIEF in UK have come down to drive the Nature as Manager who manages the if's & but's around the resort satisfying customer's comfort. "The PILLARS" - Suresh (Delta) & Jaffar, the young bulls maintains and safe - guard the resorts to eco - friendly in all aspects which boosts the customer to stay safe in the resort. We had a nice time at the resort. We have gone to many jungle resorts so our expectations were pretty low. But the hospitality,trek and the jeep safari was very good. It's best to book directly with them. We were a group of 4 families who went there. We met the owner Mr Ganesh, who took the kids to bird watching and nature walk. The food was very homely and simple. We told them our requirements in advance and Mr Ganesh arranged everything for us. The rooms are neat and simple, we were told they are going to renovate soon. Its a very big resort and the road is completely off road, so they pick you and drop you back at the parking. Mr Visak and Suresh were the persons who were handling our team. They tooo good care of us. Overall a very peaceful and Fun 2 days.

If you wish to stay in a calm place away from the city- choose the resort, you can hear and see pure nature around you. Don't keep high expectation, wild animal sighting is very rare i guess, we just saw some monkeys, malabar squirrels and lot of birds. Climate was enjoyable cold at night. Food was very delicious and staff were friendly. Tip - Get a full package before going including camp fire, safari etc

Nice place for a weekend to be in nature. Cottages are ok, can be better. Food needs development. All staff are friendly and nice people.Special Thanks to Sharukh. You can find lots of birds, flying squirrel, monkeys around. We saw Sambar deer and elephant very near to the dining area. Want to visit again.

Bulletins; 1. If you wish to explore the real value being a living-being , if you are ready to mute your mobile ringtones and if you wish to hum along with birds, if you wish to trek that to, to a peaceful private waterfall , if you wish have sleep in a secured semi glass view -room which is for a change in mid of jungle were animals guard your room around at nights: if you are ready to hear out the bats knock the glass walled surrounding and scares you at nights { mind you but you are definitely safe inside}, this is the best place to be. Absolute thrill every minute { despite your are also safe every second}. Must try no doubt !!! 2. The Owner Mr.Ganesh- before my check-in: out of curiosity i had been continuously disturbing him in what's app asking several questions frequently - he used to reply very calm and realistic & where ever possible he has extended his support , though i didn't get an opportunity to meet ganesh in person during my stay, the earlier reviews of other travelers rank him high on hospitality, which is 101% true his presence though was invisible but was well felt as he has made a excellent team to make sure the guest feel super comfortable, safe and secured. The manager Mr.Visagan- truly nice professional & super decent gentleman who understand guest requirements and ensure their comfort to best possible. The team Saurabh,Anish they are more than just staff, they care for guest robust safety & basically they are very hard working honest individuals with smile in face always- my daughter aged 8 gave them a tuff time while trekking, thanks to them for being so calm infact they are good guide too, they explained lot of facts about the jungle while we trekked, specially saurabh is an awesome driver when i was sitting next to driver seat in jeep, i was not even able to locate path " so called roads" but he kept the wheels rolling safe- great driving Saurabh- go for jeep safari , if you are lucky enough you will find wild animals , even if not the jeep safari itself is a adventurous ride.Recommended!! 3. The taste of food was awesome - home made kind off hygenic tasty food-served in buffet type, we had different varieties of food for lunch, dinner and breakfast { Indian food- mix of veg & non veg}. Specially the dinner around campfire was more than asking- thanks to manager visagan for the surprise campfire arrangement. Both Veg & Non Veg food was really good. On the whole a must try place, suitable for family/ corporate outing/ bachelors outing, specially if you make it as group you will enjoy doubly !!! Ganesh & Team me & my family really enjoyed our stay @ secret valley, infact anish has become famous among my daughters friends circle- as my daughter still remembers anish name and keeps telling her friends about trekking experience guided by anish. Thanks Anish for the wonderful trekking experience.
