Summary - Stayed for 2 days in the month of June this year Good: 1.Food is just ok, not good, not bad either, small portions. Good places to eat out nearby. 2.Railway station and meenakshi temple are at a walkable distance. 3.Good spacious room with toiletries 4.Good wi-fi, yet expiring quite frequently, you need to ask for credentials many times 5.AC worked well with noisy AC fan Bad: 1.Power issues frequently and the back-up was delayed 2.Bar was closed for govt. order 3.Tea coffee maker not working and placed improperly, away from the plug-points, those were not functional.The electrician tried his best, yet unable to fix 4.Hot water was just luke-warm 5.Poor clarity of TV, less number of TV channels, almost 0 hindi and 0 hindi movie channels

We were for one night in the hotel. Service was good. Break fast has having lot of choice, including veg as well as egg preparation. Restaurant serves veg as well as non veg food. It has a separate bar serving liquor. Food is good and reasonably priced.

The hotel is very near to railway station and meenakshi temple,.The front desk people are very friendly and informative. The buffet breakfast provided is average and they can do it better and staff in restuarant are very lethargic

I had one night stay at Hotel. The room which I got was clean but not fresh. Probably hotel is old and trying to catch up. Better ventilation in Bathroom , I think can address freshness issue. Staff is responsive. At midnight at my request they become ready to provide snacks though kitchen was closed. Hotel is just 300 metre from Railway station. Breakfast menu is large. Service is prompt.

Very old hotel. We wanted double bed but we got twin bed for both rooms. Toilets are clean and well maintained. They have to improve on their lightings. The only advantage of staying here is it is very close to madurai meenakshi temple which was the purpose of our visit, restaurants and shopping area also very close to this hotel. Like chennai silks is few steps away from the hotel.

It has a good restaurant service and with good variety (continental and indian). The price is a little bit more expensive than restaurants in the street but worth it. The waiters are really kind and the food is tasty. The plates have good amount of food, with some starters to share and a main plate is enough. Around 5€ per person

Though the hotel is old and in narrow lane, its maintained very well. Rooms are neat and service is good. It has a restaurant and the food is nice. It was easy to reach as its well connected with main road and the main temple is walking distance from the hotel.

Location is both the advantage and disadvantage of this hotel; located at a place that is easily accessible and close to all major attractions; the rooms are of decent size and the outside noise does not affect much inside. On the negative side, the road is too crowded and getting a parking for your 4-wheeler will be difficult. There is scope for the hotel to improve

Right from the parking and reception, the hotel is a massive disappointment. The lifts don't work, rooms smell and the service is terrible. After a hard sale by the hotel for an all inclusive dinner and breakfast package, you will find that dinner is a washout - no items available on the buffet on display and the staff are interested in servicing a la carte orders. Even the room service phones are left unattended. The food quality and the kitchen management are bad news as well - I entered the kitchen to see what's keeping them from delivering orders - and it was chaos at all levels. Just people shouting and blaming each other while the food burns away. Wonder if they stab each other with knives... Towels unwashed, rooms not cleaned, no water supply in the taps, A/C don't…

Good hotel , food can be improved. But madurai has lot of options with respect to food. All you need to do is step out of the hotel for food. The stay was decent, nothing to complain about. The wifi was working fine. Close to railway station
